Pengerusi mengucapkan terima kasih serta mengalukan kehadiran panel penasihat
program DHR serta ahli mesyuarat yang lain ke Mesyuarat Bersama Panel Penasihat
Program DHR tahun 2021.

2. Objektif Mesyuarat
Pengerusi memaklumkan tujuan mesyuarat adalah untuk membincangkan kurikulum
bagi Kursus DTR20064 Basic Cookery dan Kursus DTR30094 Resort Recreational
Operation. Pengerusi memaklumkan tatacara mesyuarat dan memberi perkongsian
berkaitan pencapaian CORR dan PLORR pelajar program DHR.

II. PEMBENTANGAN KURIKULUM
3. Pembentangan kurikulum DTR20064 Basic Cookery
Pembentangan telah dilaksanakan oleh Encik Muzaffar Mohd Sidin selaku penyelaras
kursus DTR20064 Basic Cookery. Maklumat pembentangan adalah seperti berikut:
3.1 Kod DTR20064 mula digunakan pada sesi Disember 2020 bagi menggantikan
kod DTR2044.
3.2 Dimaklumkan kursus DTR20064 menggabungkan asas berkaitan hot cooking,
pastry dan bakery.
3.3 Pelaksanaan dan kaedah penilaian kursus dilaksanakan sepenuhnya secara
amali berdasarkan kepada maklumat yang tercatat pada Course Outline.
3.4 Sesi PdP dijalanakan sepenuhnya secara amali berdasarkan contact hours yang
ditetapkan.

4. Pembentangan kurikulum DTR30094 Resort Recreational Operation
Pembentangan telah dilaksanakan oleh Encik Edi Rizal Kassim selaku penyelaras
kursus DTR30094 Resort Recreational Operation. Maklumat pembentangan adalah
seperti berikut:
4.1 Kod DTR30094 mula digunakan pada sesi I 2021/2022 bagi menggantikan kod
DTR3034 Recreational Resort Operation.
4.2 Sesi PdP dijalankan secara teori dan amali berdasarkan keperluan topik yang
terdapat dalam silibus kursus.
4.3 Pelaksanaan dan kaedah penilaian pelajar secara teori dan amali dijalankan
berdasarkan kesesuaian topik selaras dengan keperluan kursus serta menepati
CLO kursus dengan kerjasama pihak industri.
4.4 DTR30094 merupakan kursus discipline core bagi program DHR.
4.5 Sumber kewangan bagi melaksanakan PdP secara amali diperolehi daripada
peruntukan khas JPPKK dan kerjasama COC bersama pihak industri.

III. MAKLUM BALAS DARIPADA PANEL
5. Cadangan dan maklumbalas daripada panel bagi kursus DTR20064 Basic Cookery
5.1 Silibus – Panel berpendapat bahawa silibus kursus terlalu padat. Bebanan
tenaga pengajar dan pelajar dalam menjalankan PdP bagi kursus DTR20064
perlu diberi perhatian. Dicadangkan untuk mengkaji semula rasional kurikulum
dalam menggabungkan hot cooking, pastry dan bakery dalam satu silibus.
5.2 Assessment – Kaedah dan jumlah penilaian perlu diberi perhatian agar selari
dengan silibus serta mencapai CLO kursus.
5.3 Objektif kursus – Pemilihan dan penggunaan perkataan tahap yang terlalu
tinggi pada synopsis kursus (contoh: all the cooking techniques dan students
will master garnishing) perlu dikaji semula bagi memastikan selari dengan
silibus serta mencapai CLO kursus dan PLO program.
5.4 References book – Pemilihan dan penggunaan buku rujukan perlu dilihat
semula bagi memastikan buku terkini dan lebih sesuai.

6. Cadangan dan maklumbalas daripada panel bagi kursus DTR30094 Resort
Recreational Operation
6.1 Kos – Kursus memerlukan peruntukan yang secukupnya bagi memastikan PdP
secara amali dapat dijalankan bagi memenuhi dan mencapai CLO kursus serta
meringankan beban kewangan pelajar. Dicadangkan untuk menjalinkan
kerjasama bersama industri sebagai usaha untuk menampung kos berkaitan.
6.2 Assessment – Jumlah penilaian dilihat terlalu banyak dan dicadangkan untuk
dikaji semula bagi melihat kesesuaian dalam mencapai CLO kursus serta
mengelakkan bebanan kepada tenaga pengajar dan pelajar.
6.3 Silibus – Terdapat beberapa topik yang dilihat tidak selari atau menyokong PLO
program yang menjadikan silibus kursus terlalu padat. Dicadangkan kajian
semula silibus dijalankan bagi mengenalpasti topik-topik yang rasional dan
bertepatan dengan kehendak industri serta menggugurkan topik yang
selebihnya dari silibus bagi mengurangkan bebanan tenaga pengajar dan
pelajar serta memastikan CLO kursus tercapai.
6.4 Cadangan untuk memasukkan elemen indoor recreational dalam silibus kursus
serta selari dengan peredaran semasa.
6.5 CLO kursus perlu disemak semula kerana terdapat percanggahan pernyataan
dan penilaian.

IV. RUMUSAN PERBINCANGAN
7. Penawaran kursus DTR30094 Resort Recreational Operation dilihat sebagai nilai
tambah dan tarikan kepada program DHR Politeknik.
8. Tindakan dalam mengkaji semula silibus kursus bagi kedua-dua kursus perlu
dijalankan. Kajian semula perlu memfokuskan kepada rasional topik dengan
keperluan industri serta peredaran masa serta bebanan tenaga pengajar dan pelajar
dalam menjalankan PdP perlu dinilai.
9. Pembabitan pemain industri perlu dipergiatkan bagi mendapatkan maklumat terkini
serta bantuan kewangan dalam memastikan CLO kursus dan PLO DHR sentiasa
relevan.

V. PENUTUP
10. Pengerusi mengucapkan terima kasih kepada panel dan juga pensyarah yang terlibat

only matter is that it is very compact, having both pastry and
basic cookery in one course. However, the placement of the
subject in the syllabus and the scope/content were cleverly
thought.

Most of the reference are a bit far behind, but main Agree 4
reference is sufficient. If there is a new edition for the main
reference, the faculty should consider to use it. Strongly Agree

Please remove the word ‘all’ and ‘master’ in the course synopsis. Students
undertaking this course are going through basic training, thus the word ‘master’ might
give different perception to those assessing their skills. The word ‘all’ should be used
carefully. The syllabus must state what ‘all’ cookery method means, so that it reflects
the skills the students have after completing this course.

The CLOs of the course stated is relevant to the studies.
However, I would like to suggest to drop the word ‘understand’
in CLO 1 as it contradicts with cognitive level 3 as stated in
CLO 1.

They are relevant, however further improvement can be made
by:
1. Combining 2 topics together such as hiking and flora and
fauna would ease on the costs of executing the program
and it is sensible naturally.
2. To weight the relevant of Paragliding as one of the topic
syllabus due to the nature of the sport and its’ significance
to local outdoor air base sport. Is just theory exposure
would be sufficient?
3. Some content in the topic such as rope should be
evaluated. It imposed burden to the instruction since some
of the skills are not necessary. Being selective in the
activities is necessary to ease the implementation of the
course.
4. A balance indoor and outdoor recreational activities
should be introduced in the syllabus.

I. PERUTUSAN PENGERUSI
1. Kata alu-aluan
Pengerusi mengucapkan selamat datang dan berterima kasih di atas kesudian para
pensyarah dan panel penasihat program DKM yang hadir ke mesyuarat. Pengerusi
memperkenalkan semua ahli mesyuarat yang hadir.

Pengerusi memaklumkan tujuan mesyuarat iaitu membincangkan kurikulum serta
mendapatkan maklumbalas daripada pihak panel penasihat bagi 2 kursus teras
disiplin Program DKM iaitu Kursus DJJ50212 Maintenance Engineering And
Management dan Kursus DJJ50203 Troubleshooting And Maintenance For Mechanical
Components. Perbincangan dan maklumbalas ini diperlukan bagi penambahbaikan
dan pembangunan silibus bagi subjek tersebut. Pengerusi turut memaklumkan
aturcara mesyuarat pada kali ini.

II. PEMBENTANGAN KURIKULUM DPA20043 COMPUTERIZED ACCOUNTING SYSTEM
3. Puan Chicha Bagu membentangkan kurikulum bagi kursus DJJ50212 Maintenance
Engineering And Management dan Kursus DJJ50203 Troubleshooting And
Maintenance For Mechanical Components. Antara hasil pembentangan daripada
Puan Chicha Bagu adalah seperti berikut:
3.1 Kursus yang dibincangkan merupakan kursus baharu yang diajar pada
pelajar semester 5, Diploma Kejuruteraan Mekanikal. Kursus ini juga
pertama kali diajar pada semester Sesi 1: 2021/2022.
3.2 Kedua-dua kursus ini dinilai pada berdasarkan Penilaian Berterusan
sepenuhnya melalui Kaedah Penilaian Kuiz, Ujian , Kajian Kes,
Pembentangan dan Praktikal.
3.3 Secara amnya, Kursus DJJ50212 mengandungi bahagian teori yang
membincangkan organisasi penyelenggaraan, sistem strategi
penyelenggaraan, pendekatan sistem untuk penyelenggaraan,
perancangan dan penjadualan penyelenggaraan dan penyelenggaraan
berkomputer sistem pengurusan (CMMS). Manakala Kursus DJJ50203 pula
mengandungi bahagian praktikal dan teori berkaitan topik prinsip
penyelenggaraan dan penyelesaian masalah dan prosedur, penghantaran
kuasa, galas dan pam.

4. Cadangan dan maklumbalas daripada panel, 1. Ir. Ahmad bin Jafar @ Jaafar:
4.1 Kursus DJJ50212 Maintenance Engineering And Management
4.1.1 Secara keseluruhannya beliau bersetuju adanya MaintenanceEngineering
And Management diajar di Politeknik Kota Kinabalu kerana kursus
tersebut sesuai kerana akan mendedahkan pelajar dalam pengurusan
penyelengaraan.
4.1.2 Ir mencadangkan agar memberi kefahaman yang lebih mendalam Pre
maintenance (Department, Crew, Government Authorities), Preparation
(Manpower, Spare part, Budget) and Post Maintenance (Discus and
Analysis).
4.1.3 Beliau juga mencadangkan agar silibus kursus diagihkan kepada system
dan component.
4.2 Kursus DJJ50203 Troubleshooting And Maintenance For Mechanical
Components
4.2.1 Secara keseluruhannya beliau bersetuju adanya Troubleshooting And
Maintenance For Mechanical Components diajar di Politeknik Kota
Kinabalu kerana kursus tersebut sesuai kerana banyak digunakan di
industri .
4.2.2 Ir mencadangkan agar basic troubleshooting dengan lebih mendalam
agar pelajar faham jenis-jenis troubleshooting.
4.2.3 Beliau juga berpendapat agar silibus kursus diagihkan kepada sistem dan
komponen. Pelajar perlu diberi kefahaman berkaitan dengan sistem
(Contoh: Sistem Pelincir) sebelum diajar bekaitan dengan komponen. Ini
kerana pengetahuan sistem sangat penting dalam proses
troubleshooting.
4.2.4 Ir juga mencadangkan agar diberi pelajar didedahkan pengetahuan
berkaitan dengan alignment work dan Lubrication Analysis.

Secara keseluruhannya beliau bersetuju bahawa Troubleshooting And
Maintenance For Mechanical Components perlu diajar di Politeknik Kota
Kinabalu kerana kursus tersebut sesuai kerana banyak digunakan di industri .
5.2 Kursus DJJ50203 Troubleshooting And Maintenance For Mechanical
Components
Beliau mencadangkan agar topik metal working lubrication fluid diajar bagi
memberi maklumat jenis-jenis pelincir yang digunakan dalam kerja-kerja
berkaitan mekanikal. Ini kerana ia akan mendedahkan pelajar kepada
keperluan dan kepentingan pelincir.

ini banyak digunakan di semua industri .

Components
Secara keseluruhannya beliau bersetuju adanya Troubleshooting And
Maintenance For Mechanical Components di ajar di Politeknik Kota Kinabalu
kerana kursus tersebut sesuai kerana banyak digunakan di industri .

7.2 Kursus DJJ50203 Troubleshooting And Maintenance For Mechanical
Components
7.2.1 Secara keseluruhannya beliau bersetuju adanya Troubleshooting And
Maintenance For Mechanical Components di ajar di Politeknik Kota
Kinabalu kerana kursus tersebut sesuai kerana banyak digunakan di
industri.
7.2.2 Beliau berpendapat troubleshooting perlu dijadikan subtopik bagi silibus
ini. Selain daripada itu beliau bersetuju dengan pendapat En. Gerald
berkaitan dengan perincian terhadap topik pelincir.
7.2.3 Beliau juga telah menawarkan agar pelajar datang ke syarikat beliau
untuk melakukan kerja-kerja berkaitan baikpulih enjin.

IV. RUMUSAN PERBINCANGAN
8. Secara keseluruhan, para panel bersetuju bahawa kursus DJJ50212 Maintenance
Engineering And Management dan Kursus DJJ50203 Troubleshooting And
Maintenance For Mechanical Components. perlu diajar di semester 5 kerana pelajar
perlu mengetahui pengurusan penyenggaraan dan mengenalpasti masalah berkaitan
penyenggaraan.
9. Kandungan kursus DJJ50212 dapat membekalkan pengetahuan melibatkan
maintenance organization, maintenance strategies system, system approach to
maintenance, maintenance planning and scheduling and computerized maintenance
management system (CMMS) sangat bersesuaian dengan kehendak dan keperluan
industri.
10. Kandungan kursus DJJ50203 yang memberikan pengetahuan melibatkan
maintenance and troubleshooting principles and procedures, power transmission,
bearing and pump sangat bersesuaian dengan kehendak dan keperluan industri.

V. PENUTUP
11. Pengerusi mengucapkan terima kasih kepada keempat-empat orang panel dan juga
pensyarah yang terlibat dalam mesyuarat kali ini. Pengerusi memaklumkan kepada
