Rumah Sakit Santo Borromeus terletak di lokasi strategis yakni di kawasan Jalan Ir H
Juanda yang dikenal dengan nama Dago. Berbagai tempat wisata tersebar di seputar
kawasan ini mulai dari taman, museum, monumen, kebun binatang, air terjun, tempat
budaya, factory outlet, kafe hingga restoran. Tempat-tempat wisata tersebut mudah

diakses dan ditempuh baik menggunakan sepeda motor maupun mobil.
Hal ini tentunya menyajikan alternatif bagi pasien sepulang berobat dari Rumah Sakit
Santo Borromeus dan keluarga pasien yang hendak tamasya atau berekreasi tetapi tak
jauh dari rumah sakit ini. Selain itu, Rumah Sakit Santo Borromeus juga dekat dengan

pusat kantor Pemerintah Provinsi Jawa Barat (Gedung Sate) dan Pemerintah Kota
Bandung (Balai Kota). *

Santo Borromeus Hospital is located in a strategic location, namely in the Jalan Ir H
Juanda area known as Dago. Various tourist attractions are scattered around this
area ranging from parks, museums, monuments, zoos, waterfalls, cultural places,

factory outlets, cafes to restaurants. These tourist spots are easily accessible and can
be reached by motorbike or car.

This of course presents an alternative for patients after treatment from the Santo
Borromeus Hospital and the patient's family who want to go sightseeing or recrea-

tion but not far from this hospital. In addition, Santo Borromeus Hospital is also

Usia 100 tahun bukanlah waktu yang singkat bagi perjalanan sejarah sebuah rumah sakit.
Rumah Sakit Santo Borromeus telah melewati berbagai tantangan, sukacita, dan
meneguhkan harapan yang senantiasa menguatkan setiap langkah perjuangan. Perjuangan
dalam mewujudkan karya pelayanan kesehatan yang dimulai sejak 18 September 1921 ini
tidak pernah berhenti dan akan berlanjut seutuhnya menuju masa depan.

Rumah sakit yang dirintis oleh enam Suster Kongregasi Cintakasih Santo Carolus
Borromeus ini sungguh dicintai dan dipercaya serta mampu berdampingan dengan
masyarakat, para pemangku kepentingan, dan pemerintah sepanjang perjalanannya.

Semangat dan cahaya spiritualitas yang diwariskan dan senantiasa ditebarkan para
perintis rumah sakit ini beserta generasi penerusnya akan terus menyala. Lentera biru yang
memancarkan cahayanya semakin diterangi dan dihangatkan oleh lilin-lilin Bunda Elisabeth
Gruyters, sang teladan ketulusan dan kerendahan hati yang rela meleleh habis demi
menerangi dan menghangatkan sekitarnya.

ingat St. Marta ketika berkata kepada adiknya, Tuhan datang, marilah kita

Arriving at the age of 100 years is not a short time in the history of a hospital. Santo Borromeus
Hospital has encountered various challenges, happiness, and affirmations of hope, all of which have
served to strengthen each step of the struggle. Beginning on September 18, 1921, the quest to realize
the work of health services has never stopped and will continue indefinitely.

The hospital, which was started by six sisters of the Congregation of Sisters of Charity of Saint
Charles Borromeo, is truly loved and trusted and able to co-exist with the community, stakeholders,
and the government throughout its journey.

The soul and light of spirituality that the pioneers of this hospital and succeeding generations
inherited and propagated will always continue to burn. The blue lantern that emits its light is
increasingly illuminated and warmed by the candles of Mother Elisabeth Gruyters, an example of
sincerity and modesty who was willing to melt away to light and warm the surroundings.

house. We lit candles …. At this moment my heart was burning. I thought of
Holy Martha saying to her sister: The Master is coming, let us prepare
