Indonesia. Hal ini, bahkan menjadi agenda tahunan dan
budaya yang makin mengakar bagi masyarakat. Menjelang
hari raya Idulfitri, masyarakat berbondong meninggalkan kota dan
pulang ke kampung halaman. Bagi masyarakat Indonesia, mudik
memiliki makna kebersamaan dan kerinduan pada keluarga.
Mudik (going home) 249
and Eid Health Post
HMudik is one of Indo-
nesia’s unique cultures.
This has even turned into
an annual agenda item and a commu-
nity-wide culture. People flocked to
leave the city and return to their
hometowns as Eid al-Fitr approached.
Going home is a symbol of to-
getherness and longing for family for
the Indonesians.
When thousands of people travel
at the same time, Santo Borromeus
Hospital wants to provide health
services that brothers and sisters can
use to fulfill their longing for Eid al-
Fitr togetherness with family.
One of the important programs at
the Santo Borromeus Hospital is the
momentum of returning home and
Lebaran. A team was sent to the health
post for mudik Lebaran three years in
a row, from 2010 to 2012, to provide
services to Muslims traveling back
and forth. The primary responsibility
of this position is to provide first aid
and to refer patients to a health
facility if they require additional
treatment. The chosen location is a
strategic rest area that is fairly
crowded with travelers. As a result,
the team will be able to provide more
medical assistance.

pelayanan kesehatan yang dapat
dimanfaatkan oleh saudara-saudari yang
sedang menempuh perjalanan jauh demi
memenuhi kerinduan dan mengalami
kebersamaan dengan keluarga pada hari
raya Idulfitri.
Momentum mudik dan Lebaran
menjadi salah satu program penting bagi
Rumah Sakit Santo Borromeus. Selama
tiga tahun berturut-turut dari 2010 hingga
2012 satu tim dikirim ke posko kesehatan
mudik Lebaran guna memberi pelayanan
bagi umat Muslim yang melakukan
perjalanan mudik. Tujuan utama posko ini
adalah untuk melakukan pertolongan
pertama dan merujuk pasien jika
memerlukan penanganan lebih lanjut di
fasilitas kesehatan. Lokasi yang dipilih
adalah tempat peristirahatan yang strategis
dan relatif padat dikunjungi para pemudik.
Dengan demikian, tim bisa lebih banyak
memberikan pelayanan kesehatan.
Rest area tol Cipularang KM 57 dari
Jakarta ke arah timur menjadi pilihan.
Segala persiapan dilakukan, seperti
kebutuhan obat-obatan, perlengkapan
medis, dan ambulans darurat dengan
fasilitas standar.
Tim yang diutus terdiri dari seorang
dokter, tiga perawat, dan seorang
pengemudi ambulans. Mereka memulai

The team that was dispatched included a doctor, three nurses, and
an ambulance driver. They began their work one day before Eid and
finished three days after Eid. Health care services were available

posko pelayanan kesehatan ini sehingga tim tetap membuka pelayanan
hingga malam hari.
kesehatan Rumah Sakit Santo Borromeus mencapai 250 orang setiap
hari.
sedapatnya membantu para pemudik sehingga tak perlu lagi mencari
obat di apotik dan dapat melanjutkan perjalanan.
Selain layanan pemeriksaan kesehatan, posko pelayanan kesehatan
mudik Lebaran Rumah Sakit Santo Borromeus juga membuka layanan
konsultasi kesehatan, pemeriksaan tekanan darah, dan gula darah tanpa
dipungut biaya.
This mudik Lebaran health service post served anyone who was present, 253
both those who came in family homecoming groups and those who
came in large bus groups.
Every day, an average of 250 people were served and consulted at
the Santo Borromeus Hospital’s health post. Home-comers who were
examined were then given free medicine for the next three to four days.
This was done to assist home-comers as much as possible so that they
would not have to look for drugs in pharmacies and could continue
their journey.
In addition to health screenings, the Santo Borromeus Hospital’s
post for mudik Lebaran health services also provided free health
consultations, blood pressure checks, and blood sugar tests. High blood
pressure and diabetes were the most common complaints among
home-comers who benefited from this health consultation service.
They came from adults as young as 30 to 40 years old, not just the
elderly.

mengalami serangan jantung. Kejadian itu berlangsung pada tahun 2012

jantung dan terjatuh di sekitar lokasi posko. Tim segera menolong

memadai. Setelah berjuang selama kurang lebih satu jam sebuah
keajaiban terjadi, pasien bisa tertolong hingga mampu berdiri, berjalan

golden time for home-comer who had a heart attack, it was one of the
meaningful experiences that came and became a grateful memory. The
incident occurred on the second postEid day in 2012. An adult male
traveler suffered a heart attack and collapsed near the post. The travelers
were immediately assisted by the team. With his heart filled with fluid,
his condition was quite serious, and he should be treated intensively in
the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
Long story short, after receiving permission from the patient’s family,
the team administered first aid and attempted to help the patient breathe
even without the aids. Fortunately, the dispatched ambulance at the time
was equipped with adequate facilities and equipment. After about an
hour of struggle, a miracle occurred: the patient was able to be helped
until he was able to stand, walk, and be fully conscious.

Menghadapi Tamu Tak Diundang Bernama Covid-19
T ragedi kemanusiaan mengguncang dunia saat Coronavirus
disease 2019 (Covid-19) melanda. Seluruh negara harus
bersusah payah menghadapi dan mengatasi dampak wabah
yang luar biasa. Bahkan, negara maju dengan teknologi kesehatan
canggih pun terus mencari solusi. Rumah sakit-rumah sakit mendadak
harus menangani jenis penyakit baru ini. Persiapan-persiapan layanan
meminimalkan potensi penularan virus. Penyakit baru ini disebabkan
oleh virus dari golongan coronavirus: SARS-CoV-2 (severe acute

The Uninvited Guests Called Covid-19
H uman tragedy rocked the world when the Coronavirus
disease 2019 (Covid-19) hit. All countries have to struggle
to face and overcome the tremendous impact of the
epidemic. In fact, developed countries with advanced health technology
continue to look for solutions. Hospitals suddenly had to deal with this
new type of disease. Service preparations were carried out immediately
in order to provide safe services, both for patients and for health
workers. Every effort was made to minimize the potential for
transmission of the virus. This new disease was caused by a virus from
the coronavirus group: SARS-CoV-2 (severe acute respiratory syndrome

Coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) menjadi tragedi kemanusiaan
berbagai aspeknya.
Pemerintah Indonesia mengumumkan pasien pertama positif Covid-
19 di Jakarta pada 2 Maret 2020. Beberapa hari kemudian, Pemerintah
Pemerintah Kota Bandung langsung mengantisipasi segala
kemungkingan terburuk. Mengacu kepada standar yang ditetapkan
World Health Organization (WHO) dan Kementerian Kesehatan
Republik Indonesia, kampanye protokol kesehatan mulai digiatkan
physical distancing). Di saat bersamaan, pemerintah kota menyiapkan
ketersediaan alat tes dan melakukan pelacakan, ketersediaan rumah
sakit hingga tenaga kesehatan.
Rumah Sakit Santo Borromeus sebagai penyedia layanan kesehatan
di Bandung juga terdampak oleh pandemi ini. Segala persiapan dan
penyediaan layanan terstandar dalam segala keterbatasan dan
tantangannya tetap dilakukan sepenuh hati.
ketersediaan ruang perawatan.
Coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) is a humanitarian tragedy that 261
has shook the world due to its extremely rapid transmission pattern via
droplets or droplets of liquid originating from patients’ coughs and
sneezes and long-term direct contact with patients. In fact, transmission
can occur simply by touching a virus-infected object or surface and then
unknowingly touching the mouth, nose, or eyes without first washing
contaminated hands. Since the virus outbreak, the presence of these
uninvited supermicro guests has resulted in millions of deaths and tens
of millions of infections. The Covid-19 pandemic has had a significant
impact on the world in many ways. On March 2, 2020, the Indonesian
government announced the first positive Covid-19 patient in Jakarta. A
few days later, the Bandung City Government reported the first positive
corona virus patient in West Java Province’s capital city.
Due to the increasing number of people infected with Covid-19 in
the City of Bandung in particular and Indonesia in general, the
Bandung City Government immediately anticipates all the worst
possibilities. According to the World Health Organization (WHO) and
the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia, the health
protocol campaign has begun to be intensified, including steps such as
wearing masks at all times, diligently washing hands with soap and
running water, and keeping a safe distance (social distancing or physical
distancing). Simultaneously, the city government prepares the
availability of test kits and conducts tracking, as well as the availability
of hospitals to health workers.
Santo Borromeus Hospital, a Bandung-based health-care provider,
was also impacted by the pandemic. All preparations and provision of
standardized services are still carried out wholeheartedly, despite their
limitations and challenges. The struggle of the pioneering nurses in the
early days of this work inspired everyone involved in providing the best
service possible. It all started with the limitations, from the facilities to
the availability of treatment rooms.

Garda Depan Kesehatan
Sejak awal penanganan pe-
nyebaran penularan virus
corona di Kota Bandung,
Rumah Sakit Santo Borromeus dian-
dalkan di garda depan oleh
pemerintah. Tanggal 17 Maret 2020,
di bawah terang Roh Kudus, gende-
rang perang ditabuh di rumah sakit
ini untuk melawan virus mematikan
tersebut.
Pada awal Maret 2020 tersiar berita
tentang adanya pasien yang terpapar
Covid-19 di rumah sakit. Waktu itu
belum ada regulasi yang jelas tentang
penanganan kasus terkait penyakit baru
ini. Pasien pertama yang ditangani
Rumah Sakit Santo Borromeus memang
belum dapat dinyatakan terkonfirmasi
positif, tetapi pasien tersebut memiliki
gejala-gejala yang mengindikasikan ter-
infeksi virus corona.
Frontline of Health
T he government has relied on the
Santo Borromeus Hospital at the
forefront of dealing with the
spread of corona virus transmission in the
city of Bandung since the beginning. On
March 17, 2020, under the light of the Holy
Spirit, the drums of war were beaten in this
hospital to combat the deadly virus.
seminimal mungkin. Segala upaya dilakukan untuk dapat melayani
masyarakat dengan baik dan tetap terpercaya.
Ruang isolasi Covid-19 Rumah Sakit Santo Borromeus pertama kali 267
dibuka di Ruang Anna. Selanjutnya, menyusul dengan dibukanya Ruang
Irene 5. Karena kebutuhan akan ruang perawatan Covid-19 makin
bertambah, pada April 2020 Rumah Sakit Santo Borromeus membuka
Gedung Maria sebagai kamar isolasi Covid-19. Sampai saat buku ini
ditulis, upaya-upaya keterlibatan penanganan pandemi masih terus
berlangsung. Rumah Sakit Santo Borromeus mengoptimalkan sumber-
In early March 2020, news broke about a patient in the hospital who
had been exposed to Covid19. There was no clear regulation in place
at the time regarding the handling of cases involving this new disease.
The first patient treated at Santo Borromeus Hospital had not yet been
confirmed positive, but he was exhibiting symptoms consistent with
corona virus infection.
In the midst of a disaster emergency, hospitals have been trained to
always be prepared and have a Hospital Disaster Plan (HDP). When
dealing with disasters, the goal of hospital preparedness management
is to ensure that hospitals are always ready to respond effectively and
efficiently. As a result, Santo Borromeus Hospital responds quickly to
the situation and considers what steps need to be taken to provide
adequate spaces and facilities for Covid-19 patients. However, it also
provides services to general patients with little risk of transmission.
Every effort is made to provide excellent service to the community
while remaining dependable.
The Covid-19 isolation room of the Santo Borromeus Hospital was
first opened in the Anna Room. Furthermore, following the opening

19. Tak jarang, demi pelayanan bagi sesamanya, mereka terpaksa
menahan keinginan berkumpul bersama keluarga. Mereka harus disiplin
mengikuti serangkaian prosedur pemakaian alat pelindung diri (APD)
Many people are unaware that nurses and other medical personnel
who are on the front lines of dealing with Covid-19 patients must also
overcome their own fears of this lethal pandemic. Moral responsibility
and the professional oath require medical personnel to continue
performing their duties in the face of anxiety and worry. In this
situation, the support of family and coworkers, as well as the memory
of the professional oath, strengthens these medical personnel’s resolve
to continue serving in the Covid-19 isolation room. They are frequently
forced to resist the desire to gather with their families in order to serve
one another. They must be disciplined enough to go through a series
of procedures for using personal protective equipment (PPE), which
can take up to 30 minutes. Not to mention that at the start of this
pandemic, the PPE clothing that was available and required to be worn
was made of extremely hot materials.
The professional oath that strengthens the spirit of medical
personnel at the Santo Borromeus Hospital to continue to serve at
the forefront of health services is still fortified by the spirit of love
and compassion for those who suffer. God moved the hearts of
medical personnel who sincerely offered themselves and were willing
to be actively involved in dealing with Covid-19 in the midst of
anxiety and worry about a deadly pandemic, and the management was
not very clear in the early days of the pandemic. Despite the
pandemic, every line of service works together to survive and
overcome obstacles and limitations, day after day, with God’s help
and for the benefit of others.

Peran Signifikan Masyarakat
Situasi
ini sangat dilematis. Oleh karena itu, peran masyarakat sangatlah signifikan.
Kesadaran dan peran masyarakat memutus rantai penularan Covid-19
menjadi faktor kunci bagi semua upaya pemulihan.
273
The Significant Role of Society
in the Era of the Pandemic
D uring the Covid-19 pandemic, individual mobility and social
activities have the potential to speed up transmission. People
are advised not to travel unless it is absolutely necessary in
this situation. It is undeniable that these social constraints have a
significant impact on people’s lives, particularly in terms of economics.
This is a very perplexing situation. As a result, the community’s role is
extremely important. All recovery efforts rely heavily on public awareness
and the community’s role in breaking the Covid-19 transmission chain.
The Blue Lantern
Berakhirnya pandemi bukanlah di tangan pemerintah, apalagi di
tangan para petugas kesehatan. Pemerintah berinisiatif membuat suatu
membuat daya tahan tubuh mereka menurun. Risiko besar ini harus
mereka tempuh agar dapat melayani masyarakat. Beribu-ribu slogan
The government, much less health workers, are not in charge of
putting an end to the pandemic. The government has taken the initiative
to draft a regulation for the public good, but if the public refuses to
cooperate with the government in enforcing the regulation, the
pandemic will be difficult to contain.
Various calls for public awareness and active participation in
controlling the spread of Covid-19 cases come from a variety of
sources.
“You stay at home, let us do the work,” became a slogan that was
echoed by many people, including health workers. This slogan arose
from a concern about the lack of public awareness about how they can
help control the spread of Covid-19 cases by starting with themselves.
The voice of health workers who gave their lives for the sake of their
duties and responsibilities during the pandemic intensified this concern.
This decision has serious consequences for health workers because, in
order to reduce the risk of transmission, they must often be willing to
set aside seeing their families. They must also carry out their duties while
under high stress, which can impair their immune system. They must
take this substantial risk in order to serve the community. Thousands
of slogans and invitations can be created and repeated. However, if the
public lacks trust in the government and those who are genuinely
attempting to control the pandemic, none of this will matter.

Komitmen Rumah Sakit Santo Borromeus dalam penanganan
pandemi Covid-19 terwujud dalam kebijakan-kebijakan yang diambil.
Sejak virus corona mewabah, kebutuhan alat pelindung diri melonjak.
Masker, alat tes cepat (rapid test), kacamata pelindung, sarung tangan,
sepatu bot hingga pakaian hazardous materials (hazmat) langka di pasaran.
Segala upaya terus dilakukan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan tenaga
kesehatan, bahkan ketika masker medis sulit dicari, ketersediaan alat
pelindung diri untuk melindungi para tenaga kesehatan tetap diupayakan
dengan menjahit sendiri APD level 3. Segala upaya dilakukan agar
pengelolaan layanan tetap sesuai standar protokol kesehatan nasional
The Santo Borromeus Hospital’s commitment to dealing with the
Covid-19 pandemic is reflected in the policies that have been put in
place. The demand for personal protective equipment has increased
dramatically since the corona virus outbreak. On the market, there are
few masks, rapid test kits, protective goggles, gloves, boots, and clothing
for hazardous materials (hazmat). Every effort is being made to meet
the needs of health workers, even when medical masks are difficult to
find. The availability of personal protective equipment to protect health
workers is still being pursued by manufacturing its own level 3 PPE suits.
This effort also prioritizes health and safety by preventing and
controlling Covid-19 transmission so that it can protect patients, the
community, the hospital environment, and human resources in hospitals.
Vaksinasi Massal Covid-19

vaksinasi Covid-19. Pelayanan vaksinasi di Rumah Sakit Santo
Borromeus dimulai sejak 14 Januari 2021. Pelayanan vaksinasi dibuka
Sesi 1
pukul 08.00 – 09.30, sesi 2 pukul 09.30 – 11.00, dan sesi 3 pukul 11.00
– 12.30 WIB. Setiap hari masing-masing 30 orang per sesi kemudian
ditingkatkan menjadi 200 orang per hari.
Sasaran pertama program vaksinasi Covid-19 adalah para tenaga
kesehatan. Vaksinasi tahap 1 untuk tenaga kesehatan dapat diselesaikan
pada bulan Februari. Memasuki vaksinasi tahap 2, Rumah Sakit Santo
Borromeus menambah jumlah anggota tim seiring dengan penambahan
jumlah sasaran penerima vaksin. Pelayanan ini memang mensyaratkan
kelengkapan administrasi yang harus dilakukan secara manual. Tim
sasaran vaksin, Nomor Induk Kependudukan (NIK), alamat, usia
hingga batch vaksinnya.
The room, which had previously been used for medical 281
rehabilitation services at the Santo Borromeus Hospital on Jalan
Ganesa in Bandung City, was finally chosen and prepared to meet the
requirements as a Covid-19 vaccination service room. The Santo
Borromeus Hospital’s vaccination service started on January 14, 2021.
Outside of Sundays and national holidays, the vaccination service was
available in three sessions every day. Session 1 at 08.00 – 09.30, session
2 at 09.30 – 11.00, and session 3 at 11.00 – 12.30 WIB. Each day 30
people per session, then increased to 200 people per day.
The Covid-19 vaccination program began with health workers as its
primary target. The first round of vaccinations for health workers should
be completed by February. Santo Borromeus Hospital had increased the
number of team members as the number of targeted vaccine recipients
increased as the vaccination reached the second stage. This service
necessitated administrative completion, which had to be done manually.
Every day, the team must report on the implementation of vaccinations,
beginning with the name of the vaccine target, Population Identification
Number (NIK), address, age, and vaccine batch.
Vaccination services for the community have continued at the Santo
Borromeus Hospital since the government received data on the elderly
target recipients of vaccines in March 2021. The Santo Borromeus
Hospital received approximately 2,000 names of elderly vaccination
registrants. This amount was quite large when compared to the amount
received by other private hospitals. Following data validation, 1,500
names of elderly vaccine participants were obtained.
Similarly, phase 2 vaccination for the elderly (≥ 60 years old) was
carried out by 100 people per day, divided into three sessions. The
elderly’s limited mobility became one of the team’s primary
considerations in determining the safe limit for the number of elderly
vaccination participants per day. This must be carefully considered in
light of the fact that vaccination must continue to follow health
protocols. At this stage, data on target recipients of vaccines received
reached 5,000 participants. After going through the data validation
process, however, the data obtained was 3,100 participants.
Data validation is required to prevent duplicate data from being
entered as a result of repeated registrations that are entered twice

Borromeus berlanjut sejak diterima data masyarakat lanjut usia sasaran
penerima vaksin dari pemerintah pada Maret 2021. Sekitar 2.000 nama
sakit swasta lainnya. Setelah melakukan validasi data, diperoleh jumlah
1.500 nama peserta vaksin lansia.
protokol kesehatan. Data sasaran penerima vaksin yang diterima pada
tahap ini mencapai 5.000 peserta. Akan tetapi, setelah melalui proses
validasi data diperoleh data peserta sebanyak 3.100 orang.
pelayanan prima Rumah Sakit Santo Borromeus.
vaksinasi Rumah Sakit Santo Borromeus. Tim bekerja ekstra untuk
memberikan informasi-informasi penting bagi sasaran penerima vaksin
dengan memanfaatkan google form, disampaikan melalui aplikasi pesan
Whatsapp, Short Message Service (SMS) hingga melalui telepon. Tim tetap
pelaksanaan vaksinasi. Dalam kepedulian, bela rasa dan kasih bagi
sesama, perwujudan ICARE menjadi tampak jelas. Integritas pribadi-

because they use different phone numbers. Accuracy is an embodiment
of the assurance value, which is one of the values of ICARE’s integrity
that is constantly built in the excellent service of the Santo Borromeus
Hospital.
The system’s constraints and limitations did not dampen the Santo
Borromeus Hospital’s vaccination team’s creativity. The team went
above and beyond to provide critical information to targeted vaccine
recipients via Google forms, Whatsapp messaging apps, Short Message
Service (SMS), and phone calls. The team will continue to strive for
optimal service based on love for the elderly who will receive
vaccinations at the Santo Borromeus Hospital. This is attempted by
providing an initial screening sign in the form of a specially designed
logo in order to expedite the vaccination day. ICARE manifests itself
in acts of caring, compassion, and love for others. All of the health
care workers’ efforts, creativity, and willingness to try new things for
the sake of providing excellent service demonstrate their integrity.

bela rasa (compassion) bagi yang dilayani. Sikap hormat (respect) pun
compassion for those being served. Respect is also evident in every 285
detail that is considered so that vaccination services for the elderly can
run smoothly and vaccine participants are well facilitated.
It is critical for a public service facility to establish a network of
collaboration with other parties who share the same goal. Conditions
in the service do not always occur in the expected manner. However,
in the face of challenges and obstacles, the readiness of every individual
ICARE participant in it is unyielding. The availability of vaccines has
been one of the issues encountered during the implementation of the
Covid-19 vaccination program. Following the government’s
procurement procedures for goods and services in the context of
dealing with the Covid-19 pandemic, the Santo Borromeus Hospital
must collaborate with the Sekeloa Health Center in Bandung City in
terms of procuring vaccines.
Some of the vaccination participants in the elderly target group (≥
60 years) at the Santo Borromeus Hospital were over 90 years old. In
fact, one of the people who took part in the vaccination on behalf of
Eddy Yoshawirja was nearly a century old. Eddy Yoshawirja, who was
born in Bandung on June 12, 1921, was the oldest recipient of the
Covid-19 vaccine in Indonesia when he received it on March 1, 2021.
Eddy Yoshawirja, who was 99 years and 9 months old when registering
for vaccination, was registered by his son, Benny Yoshawirja, online on
the website provided by the Ministry of Health. Eddy Yoshawirja initially
failed the screening due to a history of kidney disease and other associated
diseases. Eddy Yoshawirja was unable to confirm whether he could be
vaccinated until the day of the vaccine’s administration. His family had
decided not to include him due to health and age concerns.
Santo Borromeus Hospital established an expert consultation
service in response to Eddy Yoshawirja’s family’s concerns. Eddy
Yoshawirja was finally cleared to receive the Covid-19 vaccine after
consulting with four doctors ranging from general practitioners to
internists to doctors who regularly treat him. On March 1, 2021, he
underwent the vaccination program for the first time, followed by the
injection of the second dose of vaccine on March 29, 2021. Thank
God, he did not experience any side effects after receiving the first and
the second dose of vaccine.

pelayanan publik. Kondisi yang terjadi dalam pelayanan tidaklah selalu
terjadi sebagaimana yang diharapkan. Namun, kesiapsediaan setiap
Rumah Sakit Santo Borromeus langsung menjadi pilihan pertama.
Menanggapi kekhawatiran keluarga Eddy Yoshawirja, Rumah Sakit
Santo Borromeus membuka layanan konsul ahli. Setelah berkonsultasi
menerima vaksin Covid-19. Beliau menjalani program vaksinasi
penyuntikan pertama pada 1 Maret 2021 dilanjutkan dengan
penyuntikan vaksin dosis kedua pada 29 Maret 2021. Syukur kepada
Allah sebab usai menjalani penyuntikan vaksin dosis pertama maupun

Intinya sebanyak mungkin, secepat mungkin, sesingkat
mungkin kalau kita mau membentuk herd immunity.”
“This is part of our effort to halt the pandemic. Why not
contribute here if we can? If we want to establish herd
immunity, we need to do as much as possible as quickly as
possible and as briefly as possible.”

Berdasarkan SK Kementerian Kesehatan Republik Indonesia
Direktorat Jenderal Pencegahan dan Pengendalian Penyakit No.
SR.02.06/II/581/2021 tanggal 5 Maret 2021 tentang Pelaksanaan
Vaksinasi Covid-19, menunjuk Keuskupan Bandung bersama 10
terselenggara berkat koordinasi Pimpinan CARITAS Keuskupan
Bandung Pastor Agustinus Darwanto dengan Dinas Kesehatan Provinsi
Jawa Barat. Koordinasi ini membuahkan kesepakatan bersama untuk
memberikan layanan vaksinasi bagi 1.500 peserta. Perhimpunan
The mass vaccination, which targeted groups of public servants 291
(teachers) and religious leaders in the Greater Bandung area, was carried
out with the help of the Bandung Diocese’s CARITAS Leader, Pastor
Agustinus Darwanto, and the West Java Provincial Health Office. This
collaboration resulted in an agreement to provide vaccination services
to 1,500 participants. The Society of Santo Borromeus responded
openly to the offer of collaboration to implement this program. As a
result, the operational units under the umbrella of the Santo Borromeus
Association, which included the Santo Borromeus Hospital, the Santo
Yusup Hospital, and the Cahya Kawaluyan Hospital, took on the role
of executor, aided by the staff of the Diocese of Bandung.
The vaccination activity, which took place on March 29 – 31, 2021
at the Bumi Silih Asih Diocese of Bandung, was warmly welcomed by
the invitees. Mgr. Antonius Subianto Bunjamin OSC, Bishop of
Bandung, strongly supports this as a form of Church participation in
the success of the government’s program to eradicate and overcome
Covid-19 through community vaccinations. In his remarks at the start
of the vaccination event, he praised all of the preparation efforts made
by various parties. He also advised participants to continue following
the health protocol (5M) to help prevent the corona virus from
spreading.
Candidates for vaccine recipients, who had been approved by the
health office based on criteria and the mechanism by name and address,
arrived according to the committee’s schedule of days and hours.
Through strict health protocols and the prescribed vaccination process
flow, this activity ran in an orderly and smooth manner. In practice,
several prospective recipients did not show up or did not pass the health
screening in order to be vaccinated. This open slot was then filled by
other people at the vaccination site in accordance with the procedures
and criteria that had been established.

Kegiatan vaksinasi yang terselenggara pada tanggal 29 – 31 Maret
2021 di Bumi Silih Asih Keuskupan Bandung disambut sangat antusias
oleh para undangan. Uskup Bandung, Mgr. Antonius Subianto
membantu pencegahan penularan virus corona.
berdasarkan kriteria serta mekanisme by name by address datang sesuai
jadwal hari dan jam yang ditentukan panitia. Melalui protokol kesehatan
