Mrs. Wright’s items while she is in custody, as long as
she agrees that the objects are not related to the case.

was wrapped in a piece of silk cloth which the ladies
assumed was Minnie's treasure as she kept it in a fancy
box even though it had died. Mrs. Hale assumed it was
killed by John as they realized its neck was broken and
she said Minnie must have been mentally abused by her
husband so she decided to kill her husband to free
herself.
As the men come downstairs, the ladies hide the bird
from them because they think Minnie is not wrong and
her justice must be upheld. After that, the County
Attorney said he is going to stay a little longer as the
men can’t find any evidence that proves Minnie is guilty
while the others left the house.
The main message that I think is the most useful in this
story we must oppose gender inequality and women
oppression.
As we could see in the story, the women are being
oppressed by the men which they downgrade the ability
of Mrs. Peters and Mrs. Hale. At last, the women who
were the one that solve the case instead of them.
Moreover, gender inequality also happened in Minnie
Wright’s life.
The author described the dead bird as Minnie who was
once a vibrant woman and full of life. Mrs. Hale noticed a
difference in her attitude, because she remembered her
as a beautiful and friendly lady. This shows that Minnie

was being discriminated by her own husband. Therefore,
I believe that gender inequality or women oppression
should be opposed as they should be treated equally
because we are the same, which is human being. The
title of “men” does not give them any rights to treat
women poorly.

author, Mel Robbins shared with the readers about the 5
second rules and how to take action in every situation
and improve their lives. She also gives numerous
examples of people who have profited from it and proves
how scientifically sound this guideline is. Counting
backwards from five to one and then taking action is how
the 5 second rule works. It assists people in taking the
appropriate action rather than hesitating or being side
tracked by concern. There is no doubt that people can
build bravery and confidence to achieve their goals by
following this rule. It's a strong instrument that, with a

little effort, may help them improve their lives. As stated
by Mel Robbins, “The instant you've got an inclination to
act on an objective, you want to calculate 5-4-3-2-1 and
physically move or your brain will stop you”. When we
count backwards, our minds switch gears. Most of us
"assert control," as psychologists term it, by interrupting
our default thinking. Counting takes our thoughts away
from our excuses and directs it in a new direction.
Therefore, our physiology changes and our mind swings
into line when we physically move instead of stopping to
contemplate. The Rule is a "beginning ritual" that
activates the prefrontal cortex and helps you modify your
behaviour, according to habit study. When you focus,
change, or take purposeful activities, the prefrontal
cortex is the part of your brain that you use.
For example, if you start to feel lazy doing your
assignment, count 5- 4- 3- 2- 1 and push yourself out in
front of the laptop and start to type. Don't give yourself
any more time to come up with excuses.
Counting helps you to concentrate on the objective or
commitment at hand, while also distracting you from your
anxieties, thoughts and fears. Move as soon as you
reach "1." That's all there's thereto. Pushing ourselves to
take small steps increases and boosts our confidence
and productivity in a chain reaction. By forcing ourselves
to take the small steps that will move our life forward, we
will gain momentum and feel a sense of liberation and
strength that is difficult to put into words. Mel Robbins
also stated that the paradox of choice is a technique
used by the brain.
When people feel compelled to make a decision yet are
unsure, they may begin to consider all of the other
possibilities. This, however, might be overwhelming
because it leads people to assume that with so many
options, they would never be able to make a smart
decision. Worrying a lot will make you feel more
overwhelmed and uncertain. Therefore, pay attention to
your gut instincts and inner genius for change, and act
on them.

at that time discriminated against the black people. Just
because they have different skin, the white people
always reckon black people as the bad person and do

impossible for him to win over the trial, he still defends
Boo Radley as he wants to seek justice.
This novel also focuses on the story of Scout and
her brother who always had a high curiosity about their
reclusive neigbour, Boo Radley who lives on the same
road with them. Boo Radley is greatly different from
normal people in Maycomb as he never goes to church
for worship or participates in any occasion. The other
residents think that he is quite odd and mysterious
because he just confines himself inside his house for
many years. There is a rumor that Boo Radley stabs his
father’s leg using a pair of scissors when he was young,
and it makes people reckon him as a lunatic man who
commits the crime in the town of Maycomb. Jem once
says to Scout that Boo is a monster, “Boo was about six
and half feet tall, judging by his track, he dined on raw
squirrels and any cats he could catch, that’s why his
hands were blood stained”. Hence, Scout and Jem
decide to investigate the truth about Boo Radley by
always peeking at Boo Radley’s activities. It is not
a loss for people to try to read this book as the incidents
that took place in this story will open their minds about
the value of life and the issues that occur among the
universal community. Try it and you will never regret it
because you can learn many things from Scout and
people surrounding her. Did Scout and Jem manage to
find out the truth about Boo Radley and what will happen

Di dalam buku ini juga menjelaskan ciri-ciri yang perlu

islam itu. Akhlak dari segi arab ialah “khuluk” yang
bererti budi pekerti, perangai, tingkah laku dan adat
kebiasaan seorang manusia.
Antara akhlak kepada Allah SWT ialah beriman
kepadaNya dan menjunjung segala perintah-Nya dan
menjauhi laranganNya, ada rasa cinta kepadaNya.

Akhlak kepada manusia iaitu ibubapa dan masyarakat
juga dimasukkan dalam buku ini. Antaranya ialah
berbuat baik, patuh dan menghormati ibubapa serta
menghormati orang lain terutamanya orang memiliki
kelebihan dan keutamaan seperti ibubapa, guru-guru
atau orang lebih tua. Buku ini memberi penekanan
mengapa kita peru menghormati guru.
Seperi sabda Rasullulah “Muliakanlah orang yang kamu
belajar darinya”. Seorang muslim yang berakhlak mulia
tidak akan melakukan perkara keji dan kurang sopan
walaupun ketika bersendirian kerana dia malu dan yakin
bahawa Allah SWT sentiasa melihat dan mengawasi
dirinya.
Maka adab-adab dalam kehidupan seharian perlu dijaga
seperti adab bangun tidur, adab ke bilik air, adab makan
dan banyak lagi. Terdapat sifat mahmudah yang perlu
diterapkanseperti sabar, tawadduk dalam diri anak muda
dan sifat mazmumah seperti dengki, dendam yang perlu
dijauhi kerana mampu memusnahkan diri remaja kini.
Buku ini juga menfokuskan berkenaan akhlak dan adab
Nabi Muhammad SAW dan sahabat-sahabat baginda.
Bimbingan akhlak seharian bagi puteri putera islam wajib
bagi mereka menjauhi akhlak yang buruk supaya tidak
dibenci oleh Tuhan, keluarga dan kawan-kawan. Puteri
putera ini perlu di didik untuk bersopan tidak mengira
tempat dan siapa pun.
Buku ini juga memberi pencerahan berkaitan budi luhur
dalam Al-Quran. Sebagai contohnya, menurut firman
Allah SWT berkenaan ikhlas ialah “tiadalah mereka
diperintahkan, kecuali supaya menyembah kepada Allah
dengan ikhlas dalam menjalankan agama dengan lurus
mendirikan sembahyang, mengeluarkan zakat, itulah
agama yang lurus” daripada Surah Al Bayyinah ayat 5.
