1 KOMPILASI PBL GURU SM ST MICHAEL PENAMPANG 202 2 PENGENALAN PBL adalah singkatan daripada perkataan Bahasa Inggeris “Project Based Learning”. Dalam Bahasa Melayu, PBL dikenali sebagai Pembelajaran Berasaskan Projek. Definisi PBL berdasarkan kajian-kajian lepas: -Proses pembelajaran yang berfokuskan kepada tugasan atau kerja amali secara sistematik atau terancang dalam jangka masa tertentu. Ia biasanya melibatkan analisis data dan dipersembahkan melalui laporan yang mengikut format tertentuPembelajaran Berasaskan Projek bermula dengan membentangkan kepada murid dengan pengetahuan dan konsep dan kemudian memberi murid peluang untuk membentang idea mereka pula. Pembelajaran Berasaskan Projek bermula dengan wawasan produk akhir atau pembentangan. Ini mewujudkan konteks dan sebab untuk belajar dan memahami maklumat dan konsep. Murid memberi pendapat dan membuat pilihan: Setiap murid belajar untuk bekerja secara bebas dan mengambil tanggungjawab apabila mereka diminta untuk membuat pilihan. Peluang untuk membuat pilihan, dan untuk menyatakan pembelajaran mereka dalam suara mereka sendiri, juga membantu untuk meningkatkan penglibatan pendidikan murid. Proses semakan dan refleksi: Setiap murid belajar untuk memberi dan menerima maklum balas dalam usaha untuk meningkatkan kualiti produk yang mereka buat, dan diminta untuk berfikir tentang apa dan bagaimana mereka belajar. Kaedah ini adalah penting untuk meningkatkan motivasi mereka untuk melakukan kerja yang berkualiti tinggi, dan keaslian projek. Projek boleh membenarkan murid untuk menangani isu-isu masyarakat, meneroka kerjaya, berinteraksi dengan mentor dewasa, menggunakan teknologi, dan membentangkan kerja mereka kepada penonton di luar bilik darjah. PBL boleh memotivasikan pelajar dan meningkatkan penumpuan pembelajaran murid di dalam kelas. Ciri- ciri PBL I. Ia boleh dilakukan secara individu II. Ia boleh dijalankan secara berkumpulan III. Penilaian yang dijalankan ke atas projek dilakukan secara berperingkat. Dari tahap pertama sehingga tahap hasil projek yang disiapkan IV. Ia sangat membantu pelajar untuk mengintegrasikan pengetahuan secara teoritikal dengan aktiviti/ projek yang dijalankan. V. Ia akan menghasilkan suatu kerjasama yang erat antara pelajar dan guru. Kemahiran komunikasi antara guru dan pelajar dapat ditingkatkan. Ini kerana, guru dan pelajar perlu sentiasa bekerjasama dan berundingan pada setiap tahap sehinggalah hasil aktiviti / projek siap dijalankan. Contoh- contoh PBL yang boleh dijalankan I. Projek kaji selidik II. Projek lawatan sambil belajar III. Projek pembelajaran khusus dan berfokus IV. Projek kegunaan ( membina modul pembelajaran ) V. Projek penghasilan ( menghasilkan alatan atau model ) VI. Projek hasil tangan ( kraftangan dan sebagainya)

Essential questions Do you know any festivals from your culture or others? Can you explain about the festival? Unit Question Find out more about the festivals that you are interested in and make a video presentation about it. Content Questions 1. What is the festival that you choose? 2. What are the traditional costumes used during the festivals? 3. Give examples of songs that are related to the festivals. 4. If the festivals involve dancing, what is the name of the dance? 5. What is the history of the festival? Teaching & Learning Strategy: 1. Project Based Learning (PBL) is a teaching strategy that focuses on research in project method as a way for students to obtain knowledge. This strategy emphasizes on students’ self-discovery and independent learning. 2. Students complete a certain task at a given period of time that involves them in solving real-life problems. 3. As a result of PBL, students develop knowledge, critical thinking, and creativity and communication skills. Objectives of the Project: At the end of this project, the students should have learned about: 1. Festivals from their own culture or from others. 2. History of the festivals that they have chosen. 3. Other people’s cultures.

Students must prepare a video presentation about the festivals that they have chosen with a duration of 5-8 minutes. 3. Students are asked to include all of the needed information in the video. 4. Students must narrate the video with their own voice and they must show their face in the video. 5. Students may use videos and pictures from the internet in their presentations. 6.
