MACAPAGAL-ARROYO in the City of Manila, dated May 21, 2009. Project W.A.T.C.H. (We
Advocate Time Consciousness and Honesty) is an advocacy program jointly undertaken by JCI
Senate Philippines, Department of Education, Commission on Higher Education, Technical
Education and Skills Development Authority, Philippine Association of Colleges, and
Universities, PAPSCU, PRISAA, and the Office of the Presidential Assistant for Education, to
promote and undertake programs that will instill the value of punctuality and honesty in all
sectors of society.

The major goal of Project W.A.T.C.H. is to push forward the recognition of punctuality and
honesty as two core values in promoting national renewal and development.

adapted by the school that promotes time- consciousness and honesty on March 25, 2022, Friday
at exactly 9:00 AM.

the project. She even explains the objective and the importance. Activities like rap contest are

Strengthening the values of punctuality and honesty is essential especially nowthat
blended learning has been implemented. In this type of learning modality, teachers may notbe able
to witness how pupils take their examinations, do their performance tasks, and attend online
classes, so embracing these two important values will help them a lot.
The WATCH project was introduced to Rizal Elem School pupils last March 25, 2022, to mold
learners a responsible citizen. Through this program, I can say that it is important to inculcate the
values being taught in this project like honesty and punctuality. For this new normal, embracingthis
value must be given priority specially in making and submitting performance task in the schoolby the
learners. In coming into the classroom is also important, so the importance of this projectmust teach
to them.

The Project WATCH is not only for time honesty and punctuality in coming in and out
of the employees but also for passing one task. Everybody must follow the given due to their
assigned task. The passing on time is very important to have good performance and should be
known by the learners for future use. Not only once, but many ways inculcate these values to them
and to all concerned citizens.

The Grade Six pupils of Rizal Elementary School support the implementation of
Project W.A.T.C.H. (We Advocate Time Consciousness and Honesty) to strengthen the value of
punctuality and honesty as a significant step in bringing about fundamental change or
transformation of society. The pupils watched the video and their class adviser, discussed the
importance of punctuality in attending online classes and submitting performance tasks and outputs,
being on time and doing the tasks on time, and honesty in answering the test and other activities.

Inculcating the values of Punctuality and Honesty to learners in this time of pandemic
especially we are on blended modality of learning is such a difficult one. The conceptof being
punctual or right on time and being honest are no doubt basic values that we should allrecognize,
and that we should all in-still in the minds of our learners.
And finally strengthening the values of the punctuality and honesty boost the persons integrity and
contribute in one’s successes

significant step in bringing about fundamental change or transformation of society.

The major goal of Project W.A.T.C.H. is to push forward the recognition of
punctuality and honesty as two core values in promoting national renewal and
development.

Advocacy for time consciousness and honesty is a significant campaign for core
development of individuals. If everyone is punctual and honest there will be a concomitant
valuing for self-respect and for respecting others' time.

Strengthening the values of punctuality and honesty boosts a person's integrity and

We Advocate Time Consciousness and Honesty (W.A.T.C.H.)
Theme: “Working Towards a Culture of Integrity through Honesty and time

Consciousness”
DepEd implement the program Project W.A.T.C.H. (We Advocate Time
Consciousness and Honesty) to strengthen the value of punctuality and honesty. This
advocacy is a significant campaign for core development of individuals especially to the
learners. If everyone is punctual and honest there will be a concomitant valuing for self-
respect and for respecting others' time. The major goal of Project W.A.T.C.H. is to push
forward the recognition of punctuality and honesty as two core values in promoting national
renewal and development.

Last June 4, 2022, ALIVE (Arabic Language and Islamic Values Education) class
also participated to the Project W.A.T.C.H. program. ALIVE class is a program under the
Madrasah Education Program (MEP) of Department Education for the Muslim learners in
then public school which aims to provide additional subjects on Arabic Language and
Islamic Values in the regular basic education curriculum. Ms. Jumaima B. Calib, the ALIVE
teacher conducted the lesson about the Project W.A.T.C.H. In this lesson, the teacher
discusses the value of punctuality and honesty to the learners. She discussed honesty and
punctuality are virtues that should be learned by Filipino Muslims especially in this time of
pandemic. She also instilled that honesty and punctuality are qualities of Prophet Muhammad
(Peace be upon him) who is the greatest model for a Muslim to imitate and follow. She also
discussed the Islamic teachings of honesty and punctuality as a reminder to them to be a
good follower Islam.

Theme: “Instilling the Culture of Honesty and Time Consciounsess Amidst Pandemic”

The Project W.A.T.C.H. is to promote the honesty among DepEd employees, teachers, and students
across the country.

In line with this, the Project W.A.T.C.H. come up a Role Play Contest in Kindergarten Pupils. The
participants portrayed the honesty in any situation. Because it’s all true on the Bible verse from Proverbs
22:6 “Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it”. As a
second parent of every learner, it is also teacher’s responsibility how to mold the values and attitudes of
them. And one of this, is honesty. Everywhere is competitive and full of temptations. If we don’t guide
our children to choose the right direction in life, they will easily walk the wrong path.

The Rizal Elementary School, Kindergarten level do the awarding on Role Play Contest about
honesty. This day of 31st of May 2022@ 1:00 P.M via google meet. There were 13 participants in each
Kindergarten Teachers. The contestants asked to take a video for 2 minutes while doing the role play
about honesty. Then last May 30, 2022, the 3 judges namely; Mr. Alvin Cabasan, Ms. Theena Recaña
and Mr. Mark Dan Alag do the judging according to the Criteria prepared by Ms. Maria Rizza D. Donato.

The said awarding attended by the 2 Master Teacher Consultants of Kinder, Mr. Noel Binag and Dr.
Gemma G. Samonte. The 11 Kindergarten Teachers were also present and even the parents of every
contestant. The program was smooth and successfully done. It was ended at exactly 2:00 PM.
