• Accuracy – Dose calibrator accuracy test data is input, calculations are performed, and reports
are printed with this program. For more information, see ”Accuracy” on page 564.
• Decay/Channel – Calculates and records daily dose calibrator constancy and channel checks
for a single source and a dose calibrator for a particular date. For more information, see ”Decay
and Channel Constancy” on page 567.
• Geometry – Documents and provides a printout of a geometry test for a single dose calibrator.
For more information, see ”Geometry” on page 570.
• Linearity – Used to record dose calibrator linearity test data using either the decay, calicheck, or
lineator tube method. For more information, see ”Linearity” on page 573.

• Channel Setup – Used to initialize each dose calibrator and sealed source combination. This
must be performed before data can be entered into the Channel Constancy program. For more
information, see ”Channel Setup” on page 580.

• Calicheck Setup – Used to establish initial baseline values for each shield using the calicheck
method. For more information, see ”Calicheck Setup” on page 584.

• Lineator Setup – Used to establish initial baseline values for each shield using the lineator tube
method. For more information, see ”Lineator Setup” on page 587.

• Scaler – The Scaler menu allows you to setup and maintain the scalers. The options are:

• Efficiency – Used for entering scaler efficiency data into the system. For more information, see
”Efficiency” on page 590.
• Calibration – Used for entering and maintaining a list of all single and multi-channel analyzers
(scalers). For more information, see ”Calibration” on page 592.
• CHI2 – Used to calculate instrumentation variance checks on scalers and multi-channel
analyzers. This determines the random variance incurred when counting multiple samples. For
more information, see ”CHI2” on page 597.
• Constancy – Used to calculate and record daily scaler constancy data to verify that the scaler is
reading consistently with the baseline values. For more information, see ”Constancy” on
page 600.
• Constancy Setup – Used to establish a baseline for a dose calibrator and sealed source
combination. For more information, see ”Constancy Setup” on page 603.

• Personnel – The Personnel menu allows you to manage exposure and thyroid bioassay test results
for lab personnel. The options are:

• Exposure – Used to document the exposure reading for each of your staff personnel. For more
information, see ”Exposure” on page 605.
• Thyroid Bioassay – Used to enter and maintain thyroid bioassay information on all lab
personnel. For more information, see ”Thyroid Bioassay” on page 607.

• Area Monitoring – The Area Monitoring menu allows you to enter test results of routine area
surveys and wipes tests. The options are:

• Area Survey – Used to enter the results of the area surveys. For more information, see ”Area
Survey” on page 610.

• Area Wipe – Used to enter the results of the area wipe tests. For more information, see ”Area
Wipe” on page 613.

WorkSheets – The WorkSheets menu allows you to print an area wipe or area survey form. The
options are:

• Dose Calibrator Channel Check – For more information, see ”Dose Calibrator Channel Check
Worksheet” on page 616

• Source Decay – For more information, see ”Source Decay Worksheet” on page 618.

• Accuracy – For more information, see ”Source Decay Worksheet” on page 618.

• Linearity – For more information, see ”Source Decay Worksheet” on page 618.

• Source Leak – Used to enter data, perform calculations, and print results of sealed source leak
testing. For more information, see ”Source Leak” on page 619.

• QC – Used to enter camera quality control data and print historical data. For more information, see
”Camera QC” on page 622.

• Fume Hood I-131 Check – Used to establish and maintain an I-131 or an I-125 air effluent
monitoring program. For more information, see ”Fume Hood I-131 Check” on page 624.

• Pocket Dosimeter Calibration – Used to calibrate the pocket dosimeter. A pocket dosimeter is
calibrated using two different tests:

• The drift is measured in a non-radioactive environment.

• The dosimeter is exposed to a sealed source at a known distance for a given time period.

For more information, see ”Pocket Dosimeter Calibration” on page 627.
