Can it get any better than this?

What a powerful year!

The answer is yes, for our eyes have seen a glimpse of the Glory of God. There is always more!

Apostolic Revival was our theme which was once again God breathed and prophetic in its out-working. As never before,
teams have gone out to far flung places to minister powerfully. Broken Hill, Milingimbi, Ti Tree, Philippines leadership school,
Philippines again, Albury, Mexico (a contingent joining the Beards), National Convention input, Culcairn and others were
powerfully touched by revival fervour. The young people continue to be on fire for God and throw themselves whole-heartedly
into prayer, events and trips to empower others in the Spirit.

Regionally, we have tended to have more input into regional events and run some of the larger events. There were: SYA
encounter camp, and events (also sowing ministry into Diggerland), PMF – women’s Refresh conference and Riverfest (also
with Roma Waterman), and carols each year.

In house we also had: our inaugural variety night for chaplaincy which also networks with the entertain-ment community; Zoe
– Melissa Ohden event, which was excellent in positioning and propelling this ministry forward; the in augural International
Night which was also very effective in reaching into the different cultures around us with great promise for future events and
connections. Within and between all these events is the power of God, to reveal, heal, equip and redirect our lives. I will
include a couple of personal testimonies with this report as I hope will be done with all the other reports.

At oversight level we achieved all of our goals to some degree including: transitioning Robinvale to Mario and Laura who
have grown the church further already; seeing Merbein planted; and evaluated the Ti Tree outreach and raised it to church
plant status; formalising and constituting it. Praise the Lord!

We are also meeting a development goal for kidz church wet area, and aircons for the North end of the building, and have
a contract to purchase property as part of a long running equity development decision that will assist toward increasing our
equity for future development next door on Ilex Street. The building is the redeveloped former surgery further down at 6 Ilex
Street. We developed an assistant/ executive role for Ruth Tankard to Co-ordinate our major events, and she has been sitting
in on most Oversight meetings and contributing excellently and doing what she can. However, we have not been able to
employ her the day a week we envisaged to do this job properly. In fact at the close of the 3rd quarter offerings were down
17% on the same period the year before, while average attendance is up, and therefore expenses are up.

We are looking at better ways of communicating giving levels against current budget and next stage of vision budget on a
quarterly basis, and encouraging people to organise their giving by netbank so that they do not lose track of it if they are
travelling for example. We had a major goal to prepare for our international mission endeavour to plant churches overseas
requiring me to travel significantly to achieve this.

The project achieved for this year was to raise an initial $50k to assist with travel and full time coverage; as I am technically
only part time employed but can’t do the other block work whilst overseas. The team created very nice wax sealed covenants
to commemorate this day, and a book of remembrance for those that made this work possible.

Our oversight team consisting of Bruce, Andre and Roland, always functions beautifully. Ruth Tankard has sat in on most
meetings to develop her role. We have invited all of our pastors to visit oversight meetings for experience and input on a
sensible basis. Some have made use of the opportunity and benefited from it. While it takes half a day per month for the team
members, we are able to also put significant prayer in together, and prophesy over the various areas of our church together.
It is a monthly prayer meeting I highly value.

This house is our home. Unless God sent you, you would not want to be anywhere else. Everyone who leads and serves
and reaches out and gives and prays and worships is building a house for God to dwell in. A little bit of heaven on earth. Amen

Pastor BruceThank you one and all.

TESTIMONYBY THE WORD OF THEIR

1 I have to give God the glory for something I did
not realise the significance of. The attached
photo’s show the damage in my shoulder that
occurred as a result of a dislocation in a football
tackle when I was 19.

As a uni student I was penniless and the system was
different then. I just put my arm in a sling for a year!

After a year I responded to a word of knowledge and on the inside
experienced instant significant improvement. I testified
to my friend with whom I had been playing left handed
squash (both of us – he was right handed too – bless
him) and he immediately challenged me to a right
handed game.

Amazingly, after a year of not using the arm I was able to
play as badly as I ever did; he always beat me anyway!

However the shoulder was never perfect and gave me
trouble over the years. I had it checked a few times and
always the operation was expensive, a long wait, and a
long recovery.

Finally this year we decided it was the right time and
everything fell in to place for a very cheap operation as
a private patient (the anaesthetist only charged me $400
for example) with a 3 week wait.

When they woke me up I had no pain what so ever, on the outside
which I can only attribute to the prayers of the saints.

The only pain I have had is: opening the wound on day 1 2

she had left and I had no energy to explain myself. Praise the Lord.

While she was out I prayed “Please Lord, show me what Pastor Bruce
to do” In an instant I received a picture and a download.

When Marg next came in I said, “Honey, I need you to
lay behind me and place your right hand on my right
shoulder blade”

It took a while because I had no energy to explain myself!

When she did get in, she put her left hand on me. I was
exhausted but was compelled to say “No honey, it has
to be your right hand” So she swapped hands but put
it on my shoulder – probably supposing to pray for my
shoulder.

In my spirit I knew the exact spot and it had nothing to do
with pain, simply revelation. I said “No not my shoulder,
my shoulder blade, closer to my spine” So I directed it
until my spirit witnessed the right spot.

Almost immediately I began to feel better. So I just
relaxed and enjoyed it.

PARTNERSHIP
DINNER

A celebration that the oversight has been waiting 20 years for was inaugurated this year – The 20 Year Partnership
Dinner. The dinner was held at the Fire Station Cafe in Red Cliffs on July 24th. People recognised for their covenant
with our church were Steve Williams, Steph Robertson, Bruce and Margaret Sharman, Werner Ullrich, Lorraine
Cracknell, Glen and Bek Milne, Ruthie Maher and Roland Tankard.
Over a beautiful three course meal, the group spent time remembering when we have come from and Bruce spoke
of the great things ahead. The next day at church we were able to honor the group and make a special presentation
recognising their commitment and faithfulness.

AUDIO VISUAL

Jeremy Boulton Hananja Boulton James Tonzing Thomas Cameron audio and lighting technology and a valuable part of the
Shaun Williams Ash Davis Andre Whitton team. They have moved south for a period of time and
hopefully we will see their return at some stage.

Several of our younger people have stepped in to fill the
gap including James, Thomas, Shaun and Ash.

We currently have seven operators on the roster doing
both audio and lighting but not usually at the same time.

Our youngest is 14 and the oldest approaching 60.
Also recently Hannah, Shaun and Thomas were trained
to run lighting for Torque events and all produced results
far beyond what you would expect from just a couple
hours training and then throwing them in the deep end.

As well as the many Torque events, the team has
provided technical services for Red Cliffs Carols,
Chaplaincy Variety Night, Encounter Youth Camp,
Riverfest and many others.

Works in progress currently include an upgrade of the
audio at the front of the auditorium to enable better
coverage around the area in front of the stage.
Also planned is some extra house lighting at the front
third of the hall which is currently a bit too dull.

Two wireless mics were purchased, which apart from
being used in the main hall, will also be hired externally
as part of the secondary audio system, which is hired out
as part of department fund-raising initiatives – yes, that is
how we paid for the mics.

This year the department was able to also secure a
secondary digital audio mixer which means no more
pulling the main mixer out of the hall for events like Red
Cliffs Carols and Lake Cullulleraine Youth Camp.

Anyone who is interested in audio and lighting should
talk to Mark Williams about how to become involved with
the team.

unity of spirit amongst the men of Diggerland.

My thanks go to my kingdom brothers and core team,
Mark Cameron and Perry Herrmann, who constantly
inspire and encourage me through word and deed.

Our goals for the year ... were to establish prayer
meetings each day of the week among the men. We
have consistently maintained two meetings per week,
with another two meetings less consistently. We will look
to develop these further next year.

During the year the focus of Men’s Ministry has been
on the prayer meetings, which have truly enriched our
relationships together and served to feed the fire of the
Spirit in us throughout each week.

We have held two well attended fellowship BBQs this
year, each attracting around 60 men.

Next year we will see a couple of major Men’s events in
the region.

Taking on Woman’s ministry this year has been so
much fun. Seeing woman rising up to whole new levels
has been great to see. We have moved into a whole
new level of confidence of who we are, taking hold of

has been a new wave of thinking that we support one

This has enabled us to catapult into whole new arenas

2010 has been an interesting year for our home group. Dayo
and Sherry were a precious addition to our group prior to
their relocation to Robinvale. I am sure they are now being
a blessing there.

Dr Ugo Egesi’s lovely wife Juoro was a blessing when she
came to visit. Ugo was inspired to plan a medical mission,
drawing together a group of medical professionals to provide
medical treatment and share God’s love to people in an
impoverished area of Nigeria. As I write this report, he is
due home from completing this mission in a few days. We
look forward to hearing testimony of what God has worked
through these servants with a heart to give upon Ugo’s return.
This year we have been led by Rob Libchard in a study/
discussion of the days leading up to Jesus’ crucifixion and
we have been recently working through Wayne Jacobsen’s
book “He Loves Me”, a Biblical study inspiring us to live in
the Father’s love and affection, the most powerful force in
the universe.

It has been precious to share with one another during this
year, to have prayer, fellowship and encouragement one with
each other. All of us have busy lives, but it is well worth the
time and effort to meet together mid week.

testimony

I thought it was just going to be a bit of entertainment, but what I heard and saw was amazing. First thing at the
convention, Marg Sharman caught my eye from the other side of the hall, she ran up to me, she was so excited to see
me, she said “Just call me Mum!” …I can’t forget that, I’ll always remember it so clear. I know that we are all related in
God.”
All I can say is “WOW!” It was great to hear about God and seeing all the strange people- but now they feel like family.
I feel more supported in this big family. It was great to hear talk about courage and hearing everybody call me brother
and son.
I feel different. I used to be normal, but full of anger. I used to be aggressive when anyone was coming near me. But
in only a week there- it changed my life. When I got off the bus back in 6 mile, I sat with my wife and cried, I feel so
different.
Thank you so much everyone for inviting me and helping me. For Bruce who felt the lostness of my soul and wanted
to take me to hear the God Word. I didn’t know what he was up to, but it was good that God was everywhere,
inamongst us.
A special thanks to Andrew Graham and Roland Tankard too (my Kagi) for looking after me, a lost brother. (Roland
loved to hear about my watermelon kick- but he calls it Aussie Rules Football!) Thankyou to all the new family.“

RIVERFEST

MGMF Riverfest broke through new ground this year

“Diggerland” took its place in the event by raising $3,440

Many thanks to the team: Julie Biggs, Marise Libchard,
Kathy Phillips, Bronnie Foreman, Hannah Webster,
Mel Webb, Libby McBain, and from afar (not for too
much longer) Penny Foreman. The team has worked
cohesively to bring the timeless and passionate message
of life and hope to the Sunraysia Community and
beyond.

2010 highlights included bringing Melissa Ohden (see
melissaohden.com) to Sunraysia. She brought her
amazing testimony about surviving being aborted at19+
weeks to 4 secondary schools and 2 public forums.
She appeared in the Sunraysia Daily 3 times and had a
total of over 600 people hear her message of hope and
resiliency, challenging the notion of ‘choice’.
Secondly, we held our first Rachel’s Vineyard Retreat,
a post abortion grief retreat to Sunraysia (see
rachelsvineyardretreat.com). This therapeutic weekend
of healing and restoration brought hope back to many
lives and will continue to be offered in 2011.

Progress on our goals for the year is as follows to
continue training, some are beginning or completing
University studies in Nursing Social Work (including
Honours), others completing or going on to Master’s or
PhD. Others are working and developing experience
and skills as workers in the field of welfare, including
Domestic Violence. Increasing the credibility of Zoe
as an informed and experienced organization. Other
goals have been realised in greater media presence
and community action. Grants have been applied for
this year and we wait to hear of any won. Meanwhile,
complete strangers have donated generously, this is
allowing us to set up our website, our shopfront so to
speak. We are blessed and find favour, thank you God.

Our relationships education package is being worked on
currently to determine the most appropriate source. This
will hopefully be sorted for 2011.

Here are quotes from participants of Rachel’s Vineyard
Retreat Mildura:
‘...it is so meaningful to me now that I can be myself
again.... have closure, but still know it is the beginning of
my journey...’
‘a deep watering hole, a place to stop, breath and find
rest and peace, forgiveness. embrace life, find hope’
