Synopsis
This course covers GMP and GHP which are the main requirements for HACCP
recognition where students will be exposed to ways of ensuring that food is safe and
has been prepared, packaged and kept clean. In addition, this course also explains
the dimensions of risks and risk elements as required in the halal management
industry.

Synopsis

DIPLOMA IN MUAMALAT ADMINISTRATION
This programme is designed to produce graduates who are competent and ethical in
the field of muamalat administration which includes Islamic banking and finance.
Graduates are exposed to general principles and practices in the financial and banking
industries. Emphasis is given to Shariah-compliant financial and banking transactions
such as in contracts of mudharabah, musyarakah, tawarruq, risk management and
others. Through a holistic and sustainable curriculum, it is hoped that this programme
will provide skilled human capital to the industry and be able to assist the dealings in
the community more effectively.
OBJECTIVES OF THE PROGRAM (PEO)
1. To produce graduates who are knowledgeable, proficient in muamalat
administrative knowledge as well as global minded and able to interact with
current changes with Islamic shariah values.
2. To practice values, integrity, ethics, professionalism and social skills in
organizations and society in line with Islamic sharia and ethics (morals) values.
3. To produce graduates who are able to communicate, work in the team
effectively, are capable of risk-taking and able to demonstrate good leadership
qualities.
4. To produce graduates who integrate digital and numerical skills in self-
development, management and entrepreneurship.

Synopsis
This course discusses the concept of community service projects, preparation of
proposals and features of effective projects. The purpose of this course is to provide
understanding and appreciation in implementing community service projects.
Teaching and learning will be conducted in the form of interactive lectures, group
discussions, experience-based learning through group activities and voluntarism. At
the end of this course, students are expected to practice values and ethics, leadership

Synopsis
This course aims to train students to recite and memorize the Quran in a simple and
fast way but still comply to tajwid knowledge. Among the surahs that need to be
memorized are the surahs from surah al-Dhuha to al-Naas. Students are also able to
link al-Quran studies with community issues through lessons from selected surahs.

Synopsis
This course offers language skills in terms of listening, speaking, reading and writing
in accordance with students' intellectual level. The purpose of this course is to improve
language proficiency in official and informal contexts. Teaching and learning will be
conducted in the form of tutorials, lectures, assignments, language activities, role-play,
tests and examinations. At the end of this course, students are expected to master

This course trains international students to communicate in the basic Malay language
covering daily life situations. Students will be introduced with simple Malay speech

MPU 2312 FOUNDATION OF QURANIC STUDIES
Synopsis
This course aims to train students to recite and memorize the Quran in a simple and
fast way but still comply to tajwid knowledge. Among the surahs that need to be
memorized are the surahs found in part (juz) 30, from surah al-Dhuha to al-Naas.
Students are also able to link al-Quran studies with community issues through lessons
from selected surahs.

Synopsis
This course aims to provide students with basic knowledge and concepts of
entrepreneurship so as to instill interest and inculcate value to venture into
entrepreneurship as one of the career options. Teaching and learning are
implemented in the form of sharing entrepreneurial experiences, case-based learning,
business simulation and presentation. At the end of this course, students are expected
to form an entrepreneurial mindset and showcase their entrepreneurial skills in daily

MPU 2413 COMMUNITY SERVICE
Synopsis
This course discusses the concept of community service projects, preparation of
proposals and features of effective projects. The purpose of this course is to provide
understanding and appreciation in implementing community service projects.
Teaching and learning will be conducted in the form of interactive lectures, group
discussions, experience-based learning through group activities and voluntarism. At
the end of this course, students are expected to practice values and ethics, leadership
and teamwork as well as social responsibility.

Synopsis
This course offers language skills in terms of listening, speaking, reading and writing
in accordance with students' intellectual level. The purpose of this course is to improve
language proficiency in official and informal contexts. Teaching and learning will be

Synopsis
This course trains international students to communicate in the basic Malay language
covering daily life situations. Students will be introduced with simple Malay speech
and writing. Teaching and Learning will be conducted in the form of lectures, tutorials,
assignments and learning experiences of students both inside and outside the
