Learners were spellbound when she showed
that heatmaps, which were part of eye
tracking studies on children with autism,
indicated greater visual attention to animals
as compared to humans, in children with
autism.

animals in a therapeutic setting, after

autism pay more attention to salient regions

aversion to humans because they were
accompanied by animals.
