Mail of Appreciation by Chef Vikas Chawla A day that left a lasting impression on my heart-a day filled with energy and awareness, surrounded by positive people and positive vibes. It was a day where bright students radiated wisdom and inspiration. I would like to express my gratitude to Ms. Anita Malhotra, the Director/Principal of Lotus Valley International School Gurugram, for organizing such a wonderfully managed event on millets and for inviting me to be a part of it. It was a pleasure for me to have been accompanied by Mr. Pawan Agarwal, IAS (CEO, Food Future Foundation, and former CEO FSSAI India). I also want to thank Ms. Aditi Mehrotra (Nutrition Advisor) for curating the event so well.
Good Afternoon ma’am, Hope this email finds you well. Firstly, I would like to congratulate you and the Lotus Valley team for organising such an amazing Scholar Badge ceremony on 14th July for grade X and XII. Every time we walk out of these school events with a new perspective and respect for the School , the management, administration and the staff. The creativity and the presentation of these events are exceptional and words fall short to describe the experience. Shayama Chona maam’s words of wisdom are still tingling in our ears. That said, we parents of Dhruvikaa Reddy of Grade XI - Dalton, would like to thank you and the school management for extending such a wonderful gesture of waiving the school fees for the 5 toppers of Grade X . This act of kindness talks a lot about the school and it’s management. It will encourage the students to excel and perform better in studies resulting in bringing glory to the school. Dear Principal Ma’am, I am writing to express my sincere appreciation for the Investiture ceremony held at LVIS Gurugram today, May 18. I got the opportunity to attend the ceremony as my daughter, Amaira Garg of Grade VII Tapti, was entrusted as a Lotus Samaritan. I cannot express in words how inspired I am after listening to you, Dr. Chona ma’am and the current and former students. The collective wisdom that was shared is more than anything I can find in a book or a TED talk! I can only imagine how inspiring and motivating it must be for the current students to witness the poise, growth, oratory skills and the overall personality of the Student committee members that was on display today. Learning never stops, and I certainly took a few life lessons - laughter being one of them! Yuvaan has been a learner since Pre Nursery in this school only. However the discipline towards his study he has learned in Grade 2 and that too in just 2 months is commendable. Till Grade 1 he was not even able to tell what he did in school. Now he is sharing everything, he remembers not only what he did in school, but what the homework is. He doesn’t want to miss school, he looks forward to all the activities performed in class. And all this is happening because of your dedication and support towards him. I have been struggling with him till Grade 1, but now Yuvaan is the one who reminds me everything related to his school.
