WORKSHOP ON MOGLY VALUE EDUCATION & FITKID NUTRITION PROGRAM: Grades Pre Nursery - III ‘Children are mirrors, they reflect back to us all we say and do’ - PAM LEO Lotus Valley as an instituition lays emphasis on inculcating Virtues as Basis of Life and endorses Healthy Living in addition to imparting Value Bbased Education to its learners that strengthens the roots and lays a solid foundation of learning for life. To further this, an Orientation session for the parents of learners from Grades Pre-Nursery to III was organised to acquaint parents with the Mogly Gurukul’s Value Education Program along with the FITKID-Nutrition, Health and Intervention Program that have been a vital part of our annual curriculum for many years. The Fitkid session was conducted by Ms. Aditi Mehrotra, our in house nutritionist and diet consultant who highlighted the importance of healthy eating and apprised the parents about the required changes they need to bring about in the diet of our little learners. In an interactive session Ms Meherotara discussed how the learners are engaged in various interesting activities and are made aware of healthy food habits and hygiene during FitKid sessions. This was followed by the Mogly Gurukul’s Value Education session conducted by Ms. Yashna Kapur who accentuated the importance of Moral Education in the current times. She emphasized that sensitizing our learners about the diverse and rich culture of our country is of paramount importance and how they use drama, stories, and handson activities to make it effective and funfilled. The revealing sessions ended with a Q& A session which left the parents more informed about raising children compationately while inculcating the right values and virtues in them and the necessity of a balanced diet, and sources of good nutrition.

UDAYAN: Empowering Plates, Enriching Millets Embracing the Millet and Eat Right Movement ‘Let food be thy medicine, thy medicine shall be thy food’ It is said, and rightly so that we become what we eat. Partnering with the Government’s initiative to promote healthy eating from an early age and ensuring that the food that we eat is good for people as well as the planet, Lotus Valley organized a notable event, Udayan- Empowering Plates, Enriching Lives: Embracing the Millet and Eat Right Movement marking the celebration of Millets on 27th July, 2023. The event was graced by the presence of dignitaries. Mr. Pawan Agarwal, CEO Food Future Foundation, Former CEO FSSAI presided over as the Chief Guest. Eminent Guests of Honour included Chef Vikas Chawla, CEO, Founder - Core Hospitality Solutions, Ms. Shauravi Malik and Ms. Meghana Narayan, Co-founders of Slurrp Farm, Ms. Palak Arora, youngest entrepreneur and Founder - SatGuru Superfoods. The event also witnessed the participation of distinguished Special Guests - Ms. Stuti Garg and Mr. Shrey Gupta, Business Developers, Operations Real Estate & Foods, Dhampur along with LK Isang Choeki Namgyal and Mr. Digambar Sharma from UNICEF, India. Representatives from Country Delight, Col. Pratap Kr. Singh, President of HPSC School, and eminent principals of prestigious schools of DelhiNCR graciously gave their valuable time conveying their significance participation in the Movement. The event was enriched by the lively presence of Ms. Aditi Mehrotra and Mr. Avnish Mehrotra from Arney’s Fitkid, who added exuberance to the occasion with their active participation.

ATL LVISG AGRO VISION Atal Innovation Mission, an initiative by the Government of India, aims to promote a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship among school students. Being selected as the School of the Month for MAY, is a significant achievement for ATL-LVISG and a reflection of the schools’ dedication to nurturing young innovators. In addition, We are overjoyed to announce that our ATL-LVISG project,” AGRO-VISION” has secured the FIRST position in the prestigious Interschool Competition, GPSC- CAPITALL- 2023, an Annual sci-tech fest at DPS sector 45 Gurgaon!


With utmost dedication and passion, our young innovators, Swarit Narula and Saksham Khurana of grade IX, created a working prototype that aimed to overcome the challenges faced by farmers in our country, offering them economic and effective solutions from sowing of seeds to storage and beyond. Also, ATL-LVISG has been announced among the top schools in AIM leaderboard for advocating Financial literacy and awareness and completion of online course initiated by AIM-UNICEF. In regular classes , learners continued to learn programming and coding of Arduino-UNO and created artwork for related projects. The school ATL lab provides a platform for students to explore and develop their ideas, harness their problemsolving skills, and collaborate on innovative projects.

The ethos and character of the institutions are expressed into their professional and social life style. Alumni can therefore, play a crucial role not only in spreading the name of the institution but also raise the quality of the institution that they hail from. Keeping this in view LotusBlooms-The Alumni Connect Program is established by school which is a platform for alumni and current students to establish a relationship and provides students with a valuable source of guidance. In an endeavour to strengthen this bond, Alumini of Class of 2023, Bhakti Bansal and Suchit Srivastava who recently secured admission in the IIT Bombay and IIT Guwahati respectively had an interactive and a very informative session with the learners of Grades XI&XII of Science Stream on 18th July’23. In the têteà-tête with the alumni the learners found answers to numerous queries. Suchit and Bhakti shared their experiences and their journey to the IITs beginning from grade XI and guided the learners to strategise preparations of CBSE and entrances like JEE, NEET etc. They spoke about the importance of regularity in school, right timelines to complete projects and practical work, day to day studies, planning leaves, approach to deal with different topics, why to avoid dummy schools, when and how to start preparations for entrances and when to avoid, some common challenges that all students go through. They cleared many myths amongst the students and guided them to have the right attitude towards the entire journey in senior secondary grades. LOTUS MUN 2023 Ambassadors of Hope LOTUSMUN’23...Ambassadors of Hope 28th - 30th April 2023 The mega event provided unprecedented scope and opportunities to the delegates to consider the pressing global issues and create strategies to address them focused on building more equal, inclusive and sustainable systems- both economic and social fostering balance bringing about peace and harmony in space, sky, earth and the environment. NOOR – E - QUAFILA Farewell Grade XII 2022 - 23 NOOR – E - QUAFILA Farewell Grade XII 2022 - 23 “Goodbyes make you think. They make you realize what you’ve had, what you’ve lost, and what you can take forward.” Music and laughter reverberated through the corridors of Lotus Valley International School, Gurugram as learners of Grade Xl gathered to bid farewell on 16th April 2023 to the outgoing batch of Grade Xll . The young adults were welcomed to NOOR-E-QUAFILA with the ceremonious ‘tika’ of sandalwood. Ruhaaniyat...raga of memories was presented by the Grade XI choir expressing their fond memories in a melodious rendition. Amidst much enthusiasm, began the conferring of citations on the passing-out batch by our revered Director-Principal, Ms Anita Malhotra. In her heartfelt message to the outgoing students, Ma'am showered her blessings and wished them luck.


She also stressed to etch the values learned at school in hearts forever as they would help them taste the forthcoming freedom with responsibility. The uncontrived speech by the Headboy Aryaman Bisht, and the Headgirl Mahak Dutta invigorated the hearts of all. Furthermore, the electrifying and scintillating dance performance Jashn- eMehfil left everyone grooving for more! The vote of thanks extended by the Deputy Head Girl Kiana Malik and Deputy Head Boy, Abhie Gupta and a video highlighting the unfathomable memories was overwhelming. As quoted by DirectorPrincipal Ma'am- Dear Children, "May you always do your best… And let our school's legacy be your crest. IGRAASP: A Weekly News Capsule April - July 2023 Igraasp is a weekly news channel catered towards children and families. It runs a robust anchoring program with school students. Numerous of our young learners have showcased their outstanding abilities in public speaking by hosting these informative segments in both English and Hindi. This opportunity not only allows them to refine their skills in public speaking but also enhances their self-assurance. Needless to say, such opportunities add to their portfolio for future career opportunities.

CLASS PARTY BEFORE THE SUMMER BREAK Grade Pre Nursery “The tans will fade, but the memories will last forever” The Class Parties organized across all Grades on 26th May, the last day of school before the commencement of Summer Break, were truly memorable and enjoyable the learners of Grades Pre-nursery to III. They were witnessed wearing vibrant attires and engaging in exciting activities that brought joy and excitement to young learners. Each grade had planned its unique set of activities and themes for the learners. The Pre-Nursery and Nursery learners got to enjoy thrilling games and a story session arranged by their mentors. Grade Prep learners were treated to a captivating puppet show, while Grade I learners embraced a 'Citrusy Summer' theme with activities like 'Cooking Without Fire' and 'Game of Dumb Charades’. The Grade II learners transformed into Pirate Kings and Queens for their Summer Vacation and enjoyed games tailored to the Pirate theme. Grade III learners, on the other hand, had a blast during the 'Happiness Rainbow' activity as part of the FUN-tastic Summer Bash. The day was filled with camaraderie and fun as the learners enthusiastically participated in various activities and danced to their favorite tunes, showcasing their boundless energy. The Class Party marked the beginning of summer break and created cherished memories that they carried home with them.
