Teaching and learning will be via face to face, collaborative learning,
work-based learning and experiential methods. Students will also be
required to do their own self-study.
Assessment strategy :
Assessment will be both formative and summative. Students learning
will be assessed using theory test and individual practical test.
Mode of Delivery Lecture and Demonstration.
Synopsis This course will cover the theory and practice of safety in workshop, use
of bench work tools and equipment, maintenance tools, instruments and
equipment, interpret reading tolerance, good housekeeping and perform
bench fitting work.
