In 2016, DTGO Group of Companies had a plan to expand its businesses more extensively in China. There was an attempt for it to return to business in 2001 but had to abort the plan due to the terrorist attack on 11 September 2001 or 9/11 in the USA. Afterwards, the company’s name was changed to Magnolia Quality Development Corporation Limited or MQDC, marking the full return to property development. Properties included premium detached houses and low-rise condominiums on 3.68 hectares of land on Bangna-Trad Km7 worth THB1,100 million. It was the first project in Thailand that won the Excellence award for Energy Saving House in the category of large detached houses. Following the success of Magnolias Southern California project, MQDC became the house of brands and started to branch out regularly with various brands and projects, namely the Muse in 2007, Whizdom The Exclusive in 2009, Whizdom Punnawithi Station, Magnolias French Country, and U Khao Yai Hotel in 2010, and Magnolias Ratchadamri Boulevard in 2011. It was a leap forward for MQDC as this would constitute the launch of a mixed-use project worth THB4,000 million. The large investment the Company made was at risk from prolonged political conflicts in Thailand during the years 2005 - 2013. Owing to various factors; namely the plot of land being the best in the heart of the city on Ratchadamri Road; having good financial consultancy; hiring Gensler, a globally renowned architecture company as a consultancy on Magnolias Ratchadamri Boulevard 项目 2011年，Magnolias Ratchadamri Boulevard 项目 (简称 MRB 项目)正式推出，该项目成为 MQDC 的重大 转折点。该项目为混合用途型高大建筑物，项目造价达 40亿泰铢。虽然当时泰国正面临2005-2013年期间持续的 政治动汤危机，而且公司进行了较大的投资。但由于该 项目处在曼谷市中心 Ratchadamri 路最黄金地段，公司 拥有良好的理财顾问，同时又有世界知名的 Gensler 公 司作为世界知名设计公司，来担任概念设计顾问。同时 又与希尔顿酒店业集团旗下的世界顶级酒店与度假村管 理运营商“华尔道夫”(Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts) 达成运营合作夥伴关系，使该项目主大楼具有十分突 出的雅致设计风格，模仿了木兰花 (Magnolias) 的花瓣 แมกโนเลียส์ ราชดำริ บูเลอวาร์ด MAGNOLIAS RATCHADAMRI BOULEVARD Magnolias Ratchadamri Boulevard 项目 Chapter5 Edit P.132-159.indd 154 7/24/2566 BE 4:53 PM

It was unique in terms of its architecture. The exquisite and refined shape of the building which was inspired by “magnolia petals” made it a new landmark of Bangkok. Every unit of the property is able to appreciate the view of Bangkok from high up. It emphasises energy-saving. The architectural ideas of Thai traditional houses were applied to create sunshades for buildings. They were carefully calculated and were designed as the façade surrounding the building. However, due to the amount of work after MQDC began branching out with a number of finished projects and provided the 30-year insurance products for new projects and covered previous projects, the insurance, and repair and maintenance were separated as a new agency under MQDC to be known as “Premium Care” in order for the work to be more effective and flexible. Moreover, during the transition period between 2005 - 2011, DTGO Group of Companies also welcomed a number of talented individuals to join us in the Planning and Supporting of the organisation in order to move forward. In January 2005, Mr Rabil Pornpatkul became the Chief Executive Operating Officer (COO). He then went on to cover accounting, finance, and strategies. Currently, Khun Rabil works with DTGO Group of Companies as a long-term corporate strategy consultant. In January 2007, Mr Prasit Tansuvan became a consultant for DTGO Group of Companies on the Organisational Management towards Global Excellence. 25th 158 THE JOURNEY OF DTGO และ อ.ประสิทธ์ยังได้เคยเชิญ อ.กฤษณา สุขบุญญสถิตย์ มาเป็นที่ปรึกษาด้านกลยุทธ์องค์กรในช่วงแรก และเป็นครั้งคราว ในปัจจุบัน พ.ศ. 2550 ดร.สุรพิชญ์ ภู่วรวรรณ เข้ามาช่วยทำระบบ SAP ถึง พ.ศ. 2552 สิงหาคม 2550 คุณธานินทร์ พรศิริธิเวช เข้ามาร่วมงาน จนถึงปัจจุบัน โดยเป็นผู้อำนวยการบริหาร งานบริหารการเงิน และการลงทุน สิงหาคม 2552 คุณผดุง ลิขิตสัจจากุล เข้ามาร่วมงาน จนถึงปัจจุบัน โดยเป็นประธานเจ้าหน้าที่พัฒนาวัฒนธรรม องค์กร กลุ่มบริษัทดีทีจีโอ สายงานพัฒนาวัฒนธรรมองค์กร สิงหาคม 2552 คุณเผด็จ ไตรอุโฆษ เป็นประธานเจ้าหน้าที่ ฝ่ายปฏิบัติการ ก่อนจะมาเป็นที่ปรึกษาด้านสายงานปฏิบัติการ ด้านก่อสร้าง ด้าน TQA และเป็นหนึ่งในกรรมการบริหาร เอ็มคิวดีซี จนถึง พ.ศ. 2560 ตามล�ำดับ มกราคม 2553 คุณศรีไทย เหมโสรัจ เข้ามาร่วมงาน ต�ำแหน่งประธานเจ้าหน้าที่การเงิน ปัจจุบันเกษียณแล้ว อ.ประสิทธิ์เล่าถึงความพยายามสร้างระบบการท�ำงาน ในช่วงเปลี่ยนผ่านนี้ว่า “การท�ำงานให้เป็นระบบหมายความว่า เมื่อผิดพลาด ให้น�ำมาเป็นบทเรียน เพื่อไม่ให้เกิดซ�้ำ ดังนั้นจึงไม่ใช่แค่ สร้างระบบแล้วไปได้ แต่ต้องมีการสร้าง Mindset Habit ด้วย “ในช่วง พ.ศ. 2550 เป็นต้นมา คือช่วงที่เข้ามาท�ำงานแล้ว แบรนด์ก็ยังไม่ดังมาก แต่หลังจาก พ.ศ. 2554 ไป ถือว่าแบรนด์ เติบโตอย่างก้าวกระโดด” Initially, Khun Prasit had invited Ms Kritsana Sukboonyasatit to become a consultant on organisational strategy. Khun Kritsana still does that occasionally. Dr Surapit Puworawan came to help with the SAP system from 2007 - 2009. In August 2007, Mr Thanin Pornsiritivet joined the Company as the Executive Vice President, Finance and Wealth Management. In August 2009, Mr Padung Likitsajjakul joined DTGO Group of Companies as the Group Chief Culture Officer, Corporate Culture Development Office. In August 2009, Mr Phadej Triukos was the Chief Executive Operating Officer (COO) before becoming an Operating Consultant on Construction and TQA. He had been one of the MQDC’s board member until 2017. In January 2010, Ms Srithai Hemsoraj joined the Company as the Group Chief Financial Officer. Khun Prasit talked of the efforts to create work systems in this transitional period. “Systematic work means that one should take mistakes and faults as lessons, to be avoided in the future. Thus, it is not an assignment of simply creating a practical system but also a mindset habit. “In the year 2007 when I had already been working for some time, the brand was not that famous. 25th THE JOURNEY OF DTGO 159 การสร้าง Mindset Habit ตามที่ อ.ประสิทธิ์กล่าวเป็น สิ่งที่กลุ่มบริษัทดีทีจีโอเริ่มท�ำไว้ระยะหนึ่งแล้ว และได้รวบรวม และตีพิมพ์ไว้ในเอกสาร “นโยบายองค์กร 1 มกราคม พ.ศ. 2550” ซึ่งรวมถึงปรัชญาองค์กร วิสัยทัศน์ พันธกิจ และค่านิยมองค์กร ของกลุ่มบริษัทดีทีจีโอ ในส่วนของวิสัยทัศน์และพันธกิจ เป็นการรวบรวมและ เรียบเรียงจากสิ่งที่องค์กรมุ่งมั่นและท�ำมาตลอด โดยคุณบี และ อ.ระบิลมาช่วยกันเรียบเรียงไว้ก่อนหน้านั้นแล้ว ต่อมา อ.ประสิทธิ์เข้ามาได้ตั้งค�ำถามว่า Core Competency ของ องค์กรคืออะไร จึงน�ำเรื่อง “ช่วยเหลือเด็กยากจนและเด็กที่ ขาดโอกาสให้มีชีวิตที่ดีขึ้น” มาไว้เป็นข้อ 1 ตามข้อเท็จจริง และเป็นสิ่งที่ท�ำมาก่อนจะเริ่มต้นธุรกิจ จุดเปลี่ยนไม่ได้เกิดขึ้นครั้งเดียวแล้วจบไป ความ เปลี่ยนแปลงล้วนเกิดขึ้นได้ตลอดเวลา คุณบีได้ให้ข้อคิดไว้ว่า “คนที่เข้าใจว่าทุกอย่างบนโลกมีความเปลี่ยนแปลงตลอดเวลา จะเข้าใจปัญหาและพร้อมจะรับมือการเปลี่ยนแปลง จึงจะ อยู่ได้และมีความสุข ถ้าเรามัวแต่คิดถึงปัญหา ก็จะบั่นทอน ก�ำลังใจไปหมดเลย แต่ถ้าคิดว่าเราคือนักแก้ปัญหา เราจะสนุก และพร้อมเผชิญหน้ากับปัญหา” Creating a mindset habit, in accordance with Khun Prasit, is something that DTGO Group of Companies had already started for some time. The ideas were compiled and published in “The Corporate Policy 1 January 2007”. The document included the corporate philosophy, vision, mission and values of DTGO Group of Companies. The vision and missions come from a compilation of what the organisation had been committed to all along. Khun B and Khun Rabil had lent some help in the editing of the documents. Later, Khun Prasit posed a question about what the core competency of the company was. Afterwards, stories about “the assistance rendered to poor and disadvantaged kids” were mentioned as the first priority in accordance to what really happened before the business was started. The turning point did not occur once and gone forever. Changes could happen at any moment. Khun B has given her thought, “a person who understands that everything on earth changes all the time is the one who understands problems and is ready to cope with changes. Such a person will be able to survive and live happily. If we always think about problems, our morale will be somewhat destroyed. But if we believe that we are problem solvers, we will enjoy and be ready to face problems.” Prasit Tansuvan 先生所提出的“观念与习惯”，是 DT 集团已启动了一段时间的内部建设工作，并在公 司内部文件《企业政策 2010年1月1日》中明确刊载， 其中包含了企业文化、愿景、使命、以及DT集团的企 业价值观。 其中的愿景和使命，是按照企业过去一直致力投入 与持续推展的愿景和使命之总结，由Khun B (谢纯美女 士) 和 Rabil Pornpatkul 先生共同收集整理相关的文字 内容。后来Prasit Tansuvan 先生加入集团后提出一个 问题：企业的核心竞争力(Core Competency) 是什么？ 因此决定把“扶助贫困与缺乏机会的儿童，以提升其生 活品质。”列为第一条使命。这也符合公司在开始成立 时就已经在持续推行的现实工作情况。 转折点并不是发生一次就结束，改变则会一直持续 出现，Khun B (谢纯美女士) 指示说：“世界上所有事情 随时都会改变，能这样理解的人，他会明白问题所在， 并能随时准备应对变化，这样才能活得有快乐感。如果 我们只想到问题，就会使信心受到打击。但如果我们认 为自己就是解决问题的能手，就会感到好玩，随时都能 面对问题。至于工作系统的发展就如同我们在进行健身 运动，如果停止运动或者懒惰，不几天就会发胖，要想 让身体健康强壮，就必须勤于运动。” Chapter5 Edit P.132-159.indd 159 7/24/2566 BE 4:54 PM

Khun B highlighted the commitment to overseas expansion in DTGO’s 2016 Yearbook as part of the message: “…DTGO is an organisation. An organisation is a group of people… That is us… That is every member… An agile, adaptable organisation stems from members who are eager to learn, know how to look ahead, have the courage to adapt, and are active and ready to face all kinds of change, no different from nature’s adaptation to its surroundings for 4.6 billion years. มูลนิธิธนินท์ เทวี เจียรวนนท์ เริ่มก่อตั้งและจดทะเบียนในฮ่องกงเมื่อวันที่ 9 พฤศจิกายน พ.ศ. 2558 ในชื่อ มูลนิธิดีที แฟมิลี่ส์ และเปลี่ยนชื่อในเวลาต่อมาและได้จดทะเบียนก่อตั้ง ในประเทศไทยเมื่อวันที่ 11 มกราคม พ.ศ. 2561 โดยมีเป้าหมายการช่วยเหลือในระดับสากล และทำ งานคู่ขนานไปกับมูลนิธิพุทธรักษา ที่ให้การช่วยเหลือสังคมในประเทศไทย Dhanin Tawee Chearavanont Foundation was founded and registered in Hong Kong on 9 November 2015 under the name "DT Families Foundation". Later, it changed its name and registered in Thailand on 11 January 2018, with the goal of providing international assistance and working with the Buddharaksa Foundation on societal issues in Thailand. This curbs the expansion of our social contribution work overseas. “The Strategic Corporate Social Contribution Office therefore registered Dhanin Tawee Chearavanont Foundation specifically to carry out overseas social contribution. The aspiration is to be 'a bridge for international collaboration'. We believe that there is already a plethora of individuals and organisations working on social and environmental issues. The approach of being "a bridge for international collaboration" stems from the existence of many social organisations with specialist expertise. Dhanin Tawee Chearavanont Foundation should support and strengthen their good work by acting as a bridge that links and allows them to work better together and more effectively. Dhanin Tawee Chearavanont Foundation begins each project by being a bridge for international collaboration, focusing on three main areas: environment, healthcare, and education. แผ่นดินไหวในประเทศเนปาล Earthquake in Nepal 尼泊尔发生地震 ด้านสิ่งแวดล้อม มูลนิธิธนินท์ เทวี เจียรวนนท์ ให้การ สนับสนุนรัฐบาลประเทศภูฏานและองค์การกองทุนสัตว์ป่าโลก สากล (WWF) ทํา โครงการ Bhutan for Life เพื่อมุ่งพัฒนา รากฐานของการอนุรักษ์ป่าไม้และระบบนิเวศในประเทศภูฏาน อย่างยั่งยืน ซึ่งได้เปิดตัวอย่างเป็นทางการใน พ.ศ. 2560 และยังได้มอบทุนการศึกษาต่อเนื่องระหว่าง พ.ศ. 2559 - 2561 ให้แก่เยาวชนที่ขาดโอกาสในประเทศภูฏาน รวมถึงประสาน การแลกเปลี่ยนบุคลากรทางการศึกษาระหว่างไทยกับภูฏาน ก่อนหน้านั้น มูลนิธิฯ ได้ให้ความช่วยเหลือผู้ประสบภัย แผ่นดินไหวในประเทศเนปาล ภายใต้โครงการ Giving Hands to Nepal โดยให้การสนับสนุนทั้งเงินทุน สิ่งของ และการเพิ่ม ศักยภาพของชุมชนผู้ประสบภัย ให้กลับมามีคุณภาพชีวิต ที่ดีได้ดังเดิมหรือยั่งยืนมากขึ้น ทั้งนี้เป็นการทำงานร่วมไปกับ องค์กรพันธมิตรมากมายหลายแห่ง ด้านสาธารณสุข มูลนิธิธนินท์ เทวี เจียรวนนท์ ได้ให้การสนับสนุนกองทุนโลก ใน พ.ศ. 2561 ภายใต้โครงการ กำจัดเชื้อมาลาเรียดื้อยาในประเทศลุ่มนำ้โขง โดยมีเป้าหมาย อยู่ที่การขจัดภัยจากไข้มาลาเรียให้หมดไปจากประเทศไทย และอนุภูมิภาคลุ่มแม่น้ำโขงให้สำเร็จภายใน พ.ศ. 2573 Environment: Dhanin Tawee Chearavanont Foundation supported the Government of Bhutan and the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) in Bhutan for Life. The project, aimed at laying the foundation for sustainable forest and ecological conservation in Bhutan, was officially launched in 2017. The foundation also awarded scholarships to underprivileged youths in Bhutan during 2016 - 2018 and coordinated an exchange of teachers between Thailand and Bhutan. The Foundation was earlier part of the Giving Hands to Nepal project to help earthquake victims. The project provided financial and material assistance, seeking to restore or even enhance affected communities’ quality of life in collaboration with several partner organisations. Malaria is a potential time bomb, given recent reports of drug-resistant strains. The disease is commonest in border areas, where people from different countries come into contact. Left unchecked, drug resistance could spread far, with grave consequences. ด้านการศึกษา มูลนิธิธนินท์ เทวี เจียรวนนท์ และพุทธรักษาทำ ให้เกิดการเชื่อมโยง ความร่วมมือจากนอกประเทศได้มากขึ้น ตัวอย่างหนึ่งก็คือ พุทธรักษาได้เข้าไปทำ โครงการพัฒนาการเรียนการสอนภาษาอังกฤษ ให้กับเด็กชาวเขาในโรงเรียน ตชด. โดยว่าจ้างครูซึ่งเป็นคนในพื้นที่มาทำ การสอนในรูปแบบ ภาษาอังกฤษเพื่อการสื่อสารตั้งแต่ระดับชั้นอนุบาล ซึ่งตอบโจทย์ความท้าทายของโรงเรียน ในเขตพื้นที่ภาคเหนือ ที่นักเรียนส่วนใหญ่ใช้ภาษาถิ่นเป็นภาษาหลัก ภาษาไทยและภาษาอังกฤษ ถือเป็นภาษาที่สองและที่สาม โครงการดำ เนินมาได้ราว 4 ปี เริ่มเห็นผลมาตามลำดับ นักเรียนในโครงการมีความกล้า และทักษะในการสนทนาภาษาอังกฤษ จากการที่มูลนิธิธนินท์ เทวี เจียรวนนท์ ได้ร่วมสนับสนุน โครงการ Bhutan for Life เราพบว่า คนภูฏานมีทักษะภาษาอังกฤษระดับดีมาก จึงนำมาสู่ การแลกเปลี่ยนครูผู้สอนกับมูลนิธิพุทธรักษา โดยมีคุณครูภาษาอังกฤษจากภูฏานมาร่วมสอน ในโรงเรียน ตชด. และพุทธรักษากำ ลังดำ เนินการส่งคุณครูไปเป็นผู้ช่วยสอนในภูฏาน เพื่อสร้างประสบการณ์และพัฒนาเทคนิคการเรียนการสอนภาษาอังกฤษในพื้นที่ห่างไกล Education: Dhanin Tawee Chearavanont Foundation and Buddharaksa Foundations create more collaborative links with international partners. One example is Buddharaksa Foundation’s project to improve English teaching for tribal children in border patrol police schools. By hiring local teachers to teach English at the kindergarten level, the initiative addresses the challenge for schools in the north of Thailand, whose students mainly speak local dialects and have Thai and English as their second and third languages. The project has been implemented for four years and has yielded satisfactory results. Participating students have shown confidence and skills in conversational English. Dhanin Tawee Chearavanont Foundation’s collaboration with the Bhutan for Life project caused us to notice that the Bhutanese have an excellent command of English. This led to a teacher exchange programme with Buddharaksa. English teachers from Bhutan came to teach alongside Thai teachers in the border patrol police schools. โครงการพัฒนาการเรียนการสอนภาษาอังกฤษให้แก่เด็กชาวเขาในโรงเรียน ตชด. ดร.วิทย์เล่าว่า “เราได้เรียนรู้จากการทำ งานมูลนิธิ พุทธรักษา เมื่อเข้าไปช่วยเหลือเด็กที่กำลังลำบาก ขาดโอกาส การศึกษา ซึ่งพอเข้าไปเราได้เห็นว่า ในหลายกรณี ปัญหาไม่ได้ จำ กัดเพียงตัวเด็กเท่านั้น แต่มีความซับซ้อนจากครอบครัว และสภาพความเป็นอยู่ ซึ่งพุทธรักษาอาจไม่ได้มีกำ ลังหรือ ทรัพยากรเพียงพอในการช่วยแก้ไขปัญหาทุกเรื่อง แต่ถ้าเรา มีโอกาสบอกต่อถึงความต้องการนี้ไปยังเพื่อน ๆ องค์กรอื่น ๆ ที่เชี่ยวชาญและทำ งานด้านนี้อยู่แล้ว ก็เท่ากับได้ช่วยเหลือ เขาอย่างรอบด้าน "จึงน่าจะดีกว่าที่เรามีเวทีสักแห่งอยู่ตรงกลาง นำคน ทำงานเพื่อสังคมมาเเลกเปลี่ยนข้อมูลกัน เพื่อให้การ ช่วยเหลือสมบูรณ์ขึ้น จึงเป็นที่มาของ The Givers Network Dr Wit explains: “We learned from the Buddharaksa Foundation’s work on rescuing children in challenging situations who lack educational opportunities. We came to realise that the children themselves are not the only problem. The challenge is aggravated by family complications and living conditions, some of which are beyond Buddharaksa’s capabilities and resources. However, if we have an opportunity to convey these needs to our friends and other organisations with the right expertise and also working in this field, we can better help them. “It would be ideal to have a common platform where givers can exchange ideas on how to make social giving more impactful. That was the origin of The Givers Network. After the launch and its first convening in Bangkok, The Givers Network plans to expand to cities such as Hong Kong, Singapore, and Beijing. The more we connect, the better we know each other.
