Safety through innovation
Safety and stability
> The stile is made of an extruded seamless aluminium tube profile
into which the rungs can be additionally fastened.
> The rungs are round underneath and have a flat, ribbed surface
on top to prevent slipping (in the case of industrial ladders, up to
28mm wide).
> When putting up the ladders, the standing surface of the rungs is
always horizontal to make standing on the ladder more comfortable
and less tiring.
> The stile profile has a groove on the inside between which the rung
is clamped and can therefore never rotate around its axis.
> Two-piece and three-piece ladders have extra wide and sturdy
sliding hooks.
> Type C and D ladders have rung hooks upon which two sections
can be secured after sliding them apart. These hooks completely
surround the rung so that the load is evenly distributed rather than
just the rivets being loaded.
> To ensure perfect stability and for additional reinforcement, the first
2, 3 or 4 rungs (depending on the length and base width of the
ladder) are connected by means of two aluminium rods.
> The best-selling Solide ladders have a flared base to ensure
optimum lateral stability when in use.

10 Aesthetics and ease of use
The flared base and the broad surface area of the rungs, as well as
their horizontal position when in use make working on the ladder user-
friendly and comfortable for the professional.
