Know-how for high yield
1. Please use recommended volume / amount of each sample. In case of isolation from large amount of sample,
adjust the input volume of each solution in proportion to the amount of sample.
2. Prepare 80% Ethanol (not provided) in a WB Bottle. Make it fresh before use.
3. Please remove EtOH completely thorough column centrifugation before using DNA Hydration Solution.
4. Add dried enzyme to D.W (Bu er) and mix well. Please store it at -20°C.
5. Please use the product according to its expiration date.
6. Please do not vortexing strongly to avoid DNA degradation during cell lysis step.
7. Storage of GD1 at lower temperature may cause precipitation of salts due to SDS.
In this case, please use it after thawing in the microwave/dry oven.
8. Elution e ciency can be increased when using DNA Hydration Solution after pre-heating at 50 °C for 10 minutes.
(Especially, in case of large DNA fragment)

High Quality Genomic DNA Extraction with Less PCR Inhibitor and Faster Time
HiGene™ Genomic DNA Prep Kit for Soil is a column & grinding bead type kit that can extract high-quality genomic DNA from soil.
The kit includes a BioFACT™ grinding bead tube for e cient dissolution. Additional enzymes such as high-concentration lyticase or
lysozyme are unnecessary except proteinase K and genomic DNA can be extracted easily and quickly using a general vortex mixer.
Extraction process is also more convenient compared to products from other manufacturers. In addition, less PCR inhibitor is extract-
ed compared to the products from other manufacturers, so PCR ampli cation can be done from undiluted genomic DNA.

Know-how for high yield
1. Please use recommended volume / amount of each sample. In case of isolation from large amount of sample, adjust the input
volume of each solution in proportion to the amount of sample.
2. Prepare 80% Ethanol (not provided) in a WB Bottle. Make it fresh before use.
3. Please remove EtOH completely thorough column centrifugation before using DNA Hydration Solution.
4. Add dried enzyme to D.W (Bu er) and mix well. Please store it at -20°C.
5. Please use the product according to its expiration date.
6. Please do not vortexing strongly to avoid DNA degradation during cell lysis step.
7. Storage of Cell lysis solution at lower temperature may cause precipitation of salts due to SDS.
In this case, please use it after thawing in the microwave/dry oven.

HiGene™ Plasmid Mini Prep Kit (Ver. 2.0) is a upgraded kit for time-saving and convenient use. Isolation procedure has been reduced and
simpli ed in two steps through application of alkaline lysis method and reduction of clearing time of lysate. HiGene™ Plasmid Mini Prep Kit
(Ver. 2.0) is designed to isolate over 20㎍ high purity plasmids as a spin column type and it is suitable for isolation from low copy plasmid to

- Know for high yield
1. Cell culture time → At least 12 - 16 hrs
2. Culture volume → 3 ㎖ ~ 5 ㎖
3. Prepare 80% EtOH in a WB bottle and make fresh each time.
4. B2 Bu er mixed with RNase A (20 ㎎ / ㎖) should be stored at 4℃.
5. Please completely remove EtOH before using elution bu er.
6. Please use the kit prior to the expiration date.
7. Avoid vigorous vortexing during lysis step to prevent degradation of DNA.
8. Isolation e ciency can be increased when using EB bu er after pre-heating treatment for 10mins at 50℃ during DNA elution step.
(Especially, in case of long fragment)
9. In case it is di cult to separate the debris from supernatant, please perform again after incubation at 4℃ or incubation on ice.
10. When washing using NWB without ethanol, extraction time can be shortened by skipping column-idle step.

→ Through removal of primer dimer, it can avoid double peaks due to the dimer peak at the front part during sequencing step.

- Know-how for high yield
1. Prepare 80% EtOH in a WB bottle and make fresh each time.
2. Place the gel block into UB Bu er and mix them thoroughly by pipetting.
3. EtOH should be completely removed before elution step.
4. Choose the appropriate method (Dimer removal / High yield) according to each puri cation purpose.
(Please perform high yield method in case of gel extraction.)
* In order to increase the e ciency during gel extraction method,
- It is recommended to use high quality agarose.
- Place the gel block into UB Bu er and dissolve them thoroughly at 50~60℃ and perform column binding.
- dissolve them by adding more than 5 times of UB bu er for puri cation at high percentage agarose gels.
5. Please use the kit prior to the expiration date.
6. Isolation e ciency can be increased when using EB bu er after pre-heating treatment for 10mins at 50℃ during DNA elution step.
(Especially, in case of long fragment)
7. When washing using NWB without ethanol, extraction time can be shortened by skipping column-idle step.
