WORKSHOP on POCSO ACT, 2012
ICT has been used by me extensively to address issues of Child Sexual Abuse and
it has helped me to reach out to the support staff members of various organizations,
educational institutions using ICT Tools like Loom, MS Powerpoint, O365, Google
Documents, etc.

What are your future plans about ICT integration and enhancing quality of
education?
Ans: The future of education will be on collaborative and experiential learning which will be supported by
the Artificial Intelligence Augmented Reality world. Augmented reality (AR) is an interactive experience of a
real-world environment where the objects that reside in the real world are enhanced by computer-
generated perceptual information, sometimes across multiple sensory modalities, including visual, auditory,
haptic, somatosensory, and olfactory. The concept of virtual labs will help the students to explore and do
the experiment virtually which they can perform like in the real world. Olabs.edu.in which is the initiative of
Ministry Electronics and Information technology along with Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham and CDAC are a
great resource. This will also help to develop a culture of research in India and students in rural areas will
also benefit. Artificial Intelligence will help students to learn and revise the concepts at their own pace and
they can check their knowledge in each concept thoroughly. COVID -19 has already proved that hybrid
learning is the future of education. Technology should be used as an assistive tool to enhance learning
experiences. As one of the authors of the research paper "ICT in teaching of Physics-Needs, Possibilities and
Limitations”, I highlighted the same thought. The connections between the financial virtual and physical
world have become increasing linked the crypto ecosystem has touched all our lives NFT, blockchains, crypto
payments, are new words for us. However, this idea of metaverse is a reality of the future. Educating the
children and integrating it in the curriculum will fuel a progressive economy. Taking a leap forward, the
Government of India has taken steps towards the implementation of virtual reality in school education and
has established the Virtual Reality Lab under the aegis of NCERT, Delhi which is accessible to every student
and teachers.
