COMPETITION
Following some good performances in the grading games,
the U16A Development team was placed into the Manawatu
Rugby Union Premier 3(B) competition alongside the PNBHS
U15 Colts, Manukura Black, Tai Wananga Tu Toa/St Peters/
LAC, Feilding High School 15A, Manawatu College 1st XV
and Feilding High School 3rd XV.
The objective of the U16A Development team is to expose
the young men selected to a good level of opposition each
week and to develop them to be able to step up into one
of our top teams next year.
The season provided our young men with a strong platform.
Many boys displayed performances that would ensure that
they play at higher honours in 2020. The team showed that
they could compete with any team in this grade but learnt
that they need to sustain intensity in order to beat good
teams.
