COMPETENCY BASED CURRICULUM
COURSE DESIGN
Course Title: Caregiving (BLENDED LEARNING)
Nominal Duration: Eight Hundred Ten (810) Hours
Qualification Level: NC II
Course Description: The online course is designed to develop knowledge, skills
and attitude of Caregiving NC II in accordance with
industry standards. It consists of competencies that a
person must achieve to provide care and support to
infants/toddlers, provide care and support to children,
foster social, intellectual, creative and emotional
development of children, foster the physical development
of children, provide care and support to elderly, provide
care and support to people with special needs, maintain
healthy and safe environment, respond to emergency,
clean living room, dining room, bedrooms, toilet and
bathroom, wash and iron clothes, linen and fabric, and
prepare hot and cold meals.
Trainee Entry
Requirements:
Trainees or Students should possess the following
requirements:
1. Must have completed at least 10 years Basic
Education or a Certificate of Achievement with Grade
10 equivalent holder
2. Able to communicate orally and in writing
3. Physically fit and mentally healthy
4. With good moral character
5. Can perform mathematical computation
6. With Basic knowledge in Computer operations and
Internet Navigation.
