CONCLUSION
The Drama classroom and Library are the places where real world life skills are
taught. For example communication, self-confidence, self-evaluation, creative
thinking, observational and team building skills. A change can be seen in the
learners. We create teamwork and group work and just the kind of skills that
will help them to be the best humans that they can be. They’re adaptable. We
tried and helped them to learn the balance and be the problem solvers. We
tried to provide these beautiful experiences under the International School
Activity (ISA) “Novelistic Journey”
The students were able to gain mastery over their language. They refined their
reading, listening and speaking skill in presentation and discussion session.
They got a lot of great experiences and they can practice intonation and voice
modulation.
They tried different emotions. They can pretend to play different characters
that they don’t always get to be but maybe they want to experience those
emotions and those feelings. For instance the children loved to enact the play
‘How Ganpati Became Ganesha’
One of the other things we worked on is forgiveness and, obviously, instant
forgiveness in acting is very important. If something goes horribly wrong, the
people on-stage smile, nod and keep going. To be able to have instant
forgiveness – not just for yourself but for your peer who has messed up the
line – is something that we really do work on a lot so that the end
performance goes as smoothly as it can.
One of the students who forgot his piece of dialogues on stage was beautifully
covered by the other student and the show concluded successfully. This
invokes a sense of team spiriting them. As it is rightly said “The show must go
on.”
The activity aims at developing the overall personality of a child by teaching
him/her various life skills which is the need of the hour.
Future Plans
As per the requirement in present era, we are bound to develop The
Cambria International School at global level. In upcoming years, we want
our school to be recognized by the wider community as a growing leader
in international education with an engaged student community, a
dedicated, well equipped and skilled faculty, in a standard and global
environment.
Providing and creating Global Thinking for students and scholars by
following global academic model. We will provide them a vision focused
on exploring the knowledge level beyond the boundaries. As per our
vision we intend to develop the international / global qualities, skills and
talents in our students.
We are running a number of cultural exchange programs, currently with
Dubai . In future we are going to extend it to many other countries. In
these programs we invite oversea schools to our school and we also visit
their schools in their country. Practically and lively knowing each other
and exploring the culture globally are the main essence of these programs.
