ICHTHYOLRegistered Trade-Mark.

Ichthyol is an undefined chemical combination made from the oily distillate obtains

from a mineral deposit found near Seefeld, in the Tyrol, and containing a high percenta^

of sulphur.

The numerous substicutes, or so-called analogues, are derived from other sources, an
vary from " Ichthyol" and from each other according to the materials and methods used in the

preparation.

From the nature of the product concerned, it is evident that these substances caniK

be "chemically identical" with " sulpho-ichthyolate " or "ichthyol" as is sometimes claime.
and chemists and druggists are warned against such representations. In contradiction to the<
unwarranted claims, the chemical non-identity of such imitation products has repeatedly bee
scientifically established and judicially determined.

RELIABLE IN THE WORLD

IF Our books for the past year show that once more the sales have beaten their
own previous records. Once more an increased and steadily widening demand

has been experienced.

'LAURENCE'S HAIR Dlt'ES' are fast becoming a household word.

f It is worth remembering that a customer for LAURENCE'S HAIR DYE

—becomes a customer for this (and possibly other things) for life once used, that

dye and no other will be used.

% Nor in creating a ready demand for a thoroughly reliable article has the very

salient question of a really adequate profit for the distributor been forgotten and
;

we think it is generally admitted that LAURENCE'S HAIR DYES show a splendid

profit to the retailer, a profit which is, moreover, firmly protected by means of the
