Note: For many years, the Stanley Park was one of Canada's
most expensive bottles. Rumours, and probably even truths,
of this bottle selling for $600-1000 abounded in the early
1980s. Even Bryan Adams was reputed to have bought two
in a Vancouver antique store in the mid-1980s (anyone know
if he's still collecting?). Then it happened - a dig. The bottle
became, not common, but available. Somehow, though, this
bottle has retained its mystique, and has climbed back up to
a top level ranking - based more on the story attached to it -
everyone wants to have a "Stanley Park"!
