a se netezi doar prin anul 1830, cind va fi angajat cornist in corpul
vindtorilor din garda civicd, apoi violonist gi contrabasist in nica
orchestrd a elegantului pavilion Alster de pe plomenada Jungfernstieg.

Curind va ajunge sd facd parte din orchestra de la Carl-Scltultze
Theater, apoi din cea de la Staditheater, iar in cele din urmd, citr-e
sfirgitul viefii, chiar din orchestra filarmonicd a oragului. O carierf
modestd, cuceritd cu greu, dar care a ddruit transfugului bdiat al
hangiului din Heide mullumirea unei ndzuinti implinite.

Din cei trei copii pe care ea ;i Johann-Jacoll i-au avut 2, cel de

clevenit, prin intermediul sdu, la fel cie familiari ca gi soldatii de plumb

miraj i-a descoperit ia cinci ani in casa primitoare a unora dintre

Pastorul Ceffcken a fost un pasionat cercetdtor in domeniul imnologiei qi
a avut o importantd contribufie in redactarea Nouiui ncnuril de imnuti ajn Hom-

burg, cu o largd circulafie de-a lungul secolului al XIX-lea.

Profesorul cossei a mal continuat o vreirre sd se ocupe de instru-

irea lui Johannes, dar in momentul in care Eduard Marxsen i-a intuit
