Pasir Gajah Health Clinic was built on a 2.0 acres site in
Kampung Pasir Gajah, Mukim Pasir Semut, Kemaman
District, Terengganu. The construction period was 18
months, and the project has cost savings of
RM882,686.60. The clinic was designed using JKR Pre-
Approved Plan Rural Health Clinic Type 7 (Tulip) and it
can accommodate about 50 visitors per day.

The gross floor area of the single storey building is 290
square metres. It consists of an Emergency Unit,
Outpatient Clinic, and Mother and Children Clinic. Besides
four units of living quarters for the staff, the clinic also
has ancillary buildings such as an ambulance garage,
guard house and store room.

Seberang Tayor Health Clinic was built on a 0.607
hectare (1.5 acres) site in Mukim Tebak, Kemaman
District, Terengganu which was originally the land of
FELDA Seberang Tayor. It was granted permission to
build the clinic in 2014. The clinic was the first JKR Pre-
Approved Plan Health Clinic Type 7 (Tanjung) that was
completed within 20 months. The facility can
accommodate about 50 visitors per day.

The gross floor area of the three storey building is 290
square metres. It consists of an Emergency Unit,
Outpatient Clinic, and Mother and Children Clinic. Besides
four units of living quarters for the staff, the clinic also
has ancillary buildings such as an ambulance garage,
guard house and store room.

Chendering Health Clinic is situated in Kubang Ikan
Village, Mukim Chendering, Kuala Terengganu District,
Terengganu. It sits on a 4.0 acres of land. The
construction period was 30 months; and the project has
cost savings of RM2,233,577.81. The clinic is designed
using JKR Pre-Approved Plan Health Clinic Type 3 (Teja)
and is the first Teja clinic in Malaysia completed without
extension of time (EOT).

The clinic can accommodate between 300 to 500 visitors
per day.

The gross floor area of the double storey building is
2,800 square metres. It consists of an Emergency Unit,
Outpatient Clinic, Mother and Children Clinic, Dental
Clinic, Pharmacy, and Imaging (Conventional). Besides
four units of living quarters for the staffs, the clinic also
has ancillary buildings such as an ambulance garage,
guard house and store room.

health clinic design Pulau Redang Health Clinic was completed on
September 14, 2016 at a cost of RM8.2 million. The clinic
was a one-off design Health Clinic Type 5 and it can
accommodate up to 150 visitors per day.

The gross floor area of the double storey building is
2,324 square metres. The clinic provides three main
services: Outpatient Treatment (OPD), Accident &
Emergency Care (A&E) and Pharmacy (PHA). It was
equipped with 1 Treatment Room, 2 Consultation Rooms,
1 Resus / Procedural Room, 1 Male Ward and 1 Female
Ward. Additionally, it also has four units of quarters for
the staff.

Kota Tinggi - Type 5

Sungai Rengit Health Clinic was built on a 2.0 acres land
located in Pengerang, Johor, costing RM21.6 million. It
was completed on January 5, 2018, and was handed
over to the client on August 12, 2018. The clinic was a
one-off design of Health Clinic type 3. The clinic serves as
the first respondent for any emergency in Pengerang
before transferring to a nearby hospital. (The nearest
hospital is Kota Tinggi Hospital which is about 75 km
away). The clinic can accommodate about 150 out-
patients per day.

The gross floor area of the double storey building is
4,030 square metres. It consists of Outpatient facilities,
Mother and Children Clinic, Oral Health Clinic, Emergency
Unit and Technical Support Department consisting of a
Rehabilitation Unit, Pharmacy Unit, Basic Pathology
Services and Imaging. It also has a dedicated
emergency unit with 3 bays in the red zone, 6 treatment
bays in the yellow zone.
