Greetings from the Korean representative We are very happy to do a ceramic exchange event at Burapha University, where Thai brains are gathered. For the past few years, the whole world hasstopped due to COVID-19. Now we're starting anew. Here at Burapha University. Our "Korea Ceramic Arts Association" is a group of ceramists who want to continue the pride of beautiful ceramic culture that has maintained the center of living culture in Korea's long history and tradition. Our Korean ceramists will do their best. I think it will be a great and successful event as much as we worked hard. After this event, we hope to promote each other's ceramic culture through continuous and active exchanges in Korea and Thailand. Thank you for active support for this event and professor Sakesan Tonyapirom head of department at Burapha University. And I also want to thank many other professors. I am very grateful to university officials who helped me with this event as well as the students who will be joining us.Finally, I would like to thank the members of the Korea Ceramic Art Association who arejoining us here in Thailand. Greetings from the President of Jingdezhen University What a beautiful day! The haze has just dispersed, and the sky is clear. It’s a great pleasure to be here today to celebrate with you the opening of the Burapha International Ceramic 2023 and the beauty of ceramic art. This exhibition is co-sponsored by Burapha University and Jingdezhen University to commemorate the friendship between China and Thailand, bolster mutual trust between the two universities, and expand exchanges and collaboration. This is also the responsibility of the Jingdezhen University/UNESCO Chair on “Ceramic Culture: Preservation and Creativity”. Professors and students from Thai and Chinese universities have created poems, essays, and paintings to honour the long history of China and highlight the charm of Asian art. Their works have promoted in-depth exchanges in ceramic culture and reinforced the foundation for win-win cooperation between the two countries. I wish the event a huge success. Message from Dean of the Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts, Burapha University According to the Burapha University strategy which is directly involved art, design and culture. As Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts in charge of moving the art, design, and culture strategy forward to achieve the target through the accumulation, creation, integration, development and expend cooperation and networking between various parties. Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts’ guidelines on the combined vision of “Academic excellence, Sustain the arts, Honor morality, Lead to international stage” The Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts at Burapha University's main mission is to promote arts and culture, which includes both the creation and publication of multidimensional works. The 2nd Burapha International Ceramuic 2023 (BIC 2023) is hold at an Exhibition hall at the Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts at Burapha University. More than 600 works by academics, artists and designers from around the globe will be presented in this special exhibition to provide a good way for academic, experience and cultural sharing. The Korea Ceramic Arts Association sent 18 artists to the workshop. We also consider it an honor that Jingdezhen University artists have submitted their artworks. I would like to express my deepest gratitude to all of you for participating in our exhibition. Your contributions have made this event a remarkable success. I sincerely hope that this exhibition will serve as a platform for ceramic artists to showcase their works, foster cooperation between domestic and international agencies, and promote Thai ceramics on a global scale.
