Ms. Anita Malhotra, Director-Principal, Lotus Valley International School, Gurugram was conferred with the “Principal of the Year’2024 Award” by Universal Mentors Association, powered by Brainwonders during the EDULEADERS Summit and Awards Ceremony held on 22nd January 2024 at Hotel Eros, Nehru Place, Delhi. We also won the ET TECH X School Excellence Awards 2023-24 in the category of “Most Inspiring & Innovative School of India” for implementing innovative practices, life skill education, best co-curricular activities, execution of STEM/STEAM for enriching the standards of education to the GenNext Learners. The hard work, dedication, diligence and focused approach of our dear Principal Ms. Anita Malhotra continues to enlighten the path of many learners. Highlighting the value of interactive learning, the Primary Wing of the school celebrated ‘Hues of Learning’ on 24th February 2024, for Grades Pre Nursery-III. Embracing the role of mentors, learners engaged in flip teaching, demonstrating their knowledge across subjects through a multidisciplinary approach. Students took on teaching roles, showcasing their understanding through role plays, hands-on activities, dance, and music, thereby enhancing their logical thinking and problem-solving skills. This role reversal created an engaging and collaborative educational experience. Parents and teachers felt immense pride watching the young learners confidently present their knowledge journey. The event concluded with learners expressing gratitude to their mentors for their dedication to personal development.

‘New beginnings pave the way for endless discoveries’ Lotus Valley warmly welcomed new parents to the 'Swatva' Orientation programme, marking the beginning of the Academic Session 2024-25. The event showcased the school's ethos, starting with a ‘Stuti’ invocation that set a tone of gratitude. Our DirectorPrincipal Ms. Anita Malhotra and School Patron Dr. Shyama Chona shared insights and inspiration, emphasizing nurturing and modern parenting. Highlighted by a children's dance and 'Urja, the Hero within me' presentation, the day celebrated educational transformation and personal growth. The event featured a live band and a display of Skill Education Clubs, demonstrating the school's commitment to holistic development. Parents and the school community left with a sense of unity and excitement for the educational journey ahead.


"In the arena of sports, the true measure of greatness is not in winning championships, but in the character, integrity, and sportsmanship displayed on and off the field." Sports serve as platforms for growth, teamwork, and self-improvement, transcending mere recreational activities. At Lotus Valley, we embrace this philosophy, as evidenced by our annual Intra-Class Skating Competition on 16th February 2024, for Grades I-III. The event at our skating rink was a display of enthusiasm and talent, with participants divided into adjustable, quad, and inline skate categories, demonstrating their skills to an audience of supportive parents and cheerleaders. The day was filled with not just skating but also choir performances, dance shows, and a speech by our DirectorPrincipal, Ms. Anita Malhotra. National and State Champions were honoured, and skilled skaters received medals, culminating with the National Anthem and a group photo. This competition highlighted the values of sportsmanship and healthy competition, reflecting our commitment to fostering these qualities in our learners. Congratulations to all the participants for their efforts and achievements.

The farewell ceremony for the Batch of 2024 was held on 30th December 2023, based on the theme, ‘NOOR-EQUAFILA’ symbolizing the enlightening journey of the graduating class, setting the tone for a celebration filled with joy and camaraderie. The vibrant proceedings began with the emcees warmly welcoming the Founder Director-Principal Ms Anita Malhotra, Vice Principals, Headmistresses, teachers, and the fabulous batch of ’24. They reflected on the incredible journey of their seniors, from nervous first steps to confident strides, emphasizing shared experiences and cherished memories. The round of celebrations was marked by a creative blend of riveting performances, including a thrilling game segment, enchanting dance performance titled Jashn-E-Mehfil, mellifluous singing, dance mashups and an instrumental presentation titled ‘Raga of memories’.


The Director-Principal in her address, shared some valuable life lessons that resonated with the audience. She reiterated the importance of strong roots that in turn support strong wings that ensures the learners achieve great feats in life, and encouraged them to "make a difference" in whatever they do. Following this, the Director-Principal and Vice Principal conferred citations upon the outgoing batch and the outgoing President and Vice President, Jaanvi Pande and Anirudh Govindan, delivered an insightful address, reflecting on their accomplishments and expressing gratitude. The event culminated with the Head Boy and Head Girl, Batch of 2024, Shaurya Aggarwal and Kaina Malik, delivering encouraging words to the graduating class to embrace future challenges, while the Deputy Head Girl and Deputy Head Boy 2023-24, Aaira Katoch and Ayaan Bhola, expressed gratitude, concluding the ceremony with a sense of nostalgia and celebration.


Every time we love, every time we give, it’s Christmas At Lotus Valley, the Christmas celebration transcended mere festivity, fostering education, cultural appreciation, and character development. The school transformed into a winter wonderland, with students engaging in diverse activities, from storytelling and Santa's workshop to tree decoration and dancing. This joyous occasion united all, creating lasting bonds and memories while instilling the true spirit of Christmas in everyone's heart. As the celebration concluded, students left with joy and cherished memories of a day filled with fun, learning, and togetherness.


Class Assemblies are pivotal in nurturing learners' holistic development, fostering personal growth and skill enhancement. Our school encourages early engagement in such events, supporting skill development from the pre-primary levels. Accordingly, Grade Prep Daffodils showcased 'Animo LearningFallen Not Defeated,' emphasizing perseverance and resilience. The learners of Prep Primroses presented 'Miracles of Mother Nature,' highlighting nature's wonders and the importance of conservation. Grade I Nightingales tackled 'Zero Hunger,' offering insights on food wastage through presentations and skits. The Penguins of Grade I focused on 'From Bins to Beginnings,' promoting waste reduction, reuse, and recycling, complemented by a fashion show and a dance that energized the audience. Grade I Magpies' assembly on 'Physical and Mental Wellbeing' featured songs, skits, and dances, showcasing their creative and teamwork skills. Grade II Kites delved into 'Endangered Species - Tiger,' raising awareness and encouraging conservation efforts. The Robins of Grade II addressed 'Water Scarcity and Conservation,' underscoring the urgency of this global issue. Finally, Grade II Doves presented a 'Nukkad Natak' on 'Waste Management and Segregation,' demonstrating their commitment to environmental stewardship. These assemblies reflect the learners' innocence and creativity, highlighting the supportive and nurturing environment our school offers, fostering a community of young, conscientious learners.
