Reflecting this philosophy, the academic year wrapped up with ‘Knowledge Mileage’ assessments for Grade I-III learners, covering core subjects such as English, Mathematics, Hindi, Environmental Science and ICT. These mock assessments helped foster a love for learning and pinpoint areas for improvement. The preparedness and enthusiasm of our learners during the Knowledge Mileage assessments were heartening, marking the culmination of their yearly educational journey and the start of setting new learning objectives while exploring further development opportunities.

School Olympiads challenge learners beyond standard curricula, fostering critical thinking and problem-solving in subjects like Math, Science, and English. At our school, Olympiads like SOF and LOGIQIDS offer all learners a platform to excel and showcase their skills. Grade 3 learners participated in the SOF International Social Science Olympiad, promoting competitive spirit and intellectual curiosity. Similarly, learners of Grades I-III engaged in LOGIQIDS to enhance their mathematical and logical abilities, crucial for various academic and reallife applications. The school takes pride in sharing that Nimisha Singh of VII Indus secured the 1 st position and Nonitha Talluri of VII Ravi secured the 2 nd position in the calligraphy event. Learners from Grades V to X of Lotus Valley International School, Gurugram participated in the State-level French Olympiads held on October 6th and 9th, 2023, achieved great success and won Gold, Silver and Bronze medals respectively. Additionally, Fiona Gupta secured the Second Rank nationally in French Word Power B1.1, which was conducted on December 16th, 2023. This is a remarkable feat and as recognition of her accomplishment, she was awarded a medal, a certificate, and a cash prize of ₹11,000/-. This achievement is a testimony to the exceptional abilities of our learners and reflects the collective dedication of our institution's participants towards academic excellence. French Olympiad was organised by Prayatna Educational Society.

Masters' Union organized Finance Quiz with Sharan Hegde, the leading voice in the Finance Industry with 2.5M+ followers on social media. Our team of three learners from grade XI, Ayush Srivastava, Abhimanyu Arora, and Vansh Srivastava participated in the quiz on 21st December 2023 and bagged the 1 st position. Swimmers don’t quit.” The school takes pride in sharing the remarkable achievement of Arjun Singh of Grade X Andes, who participated in the SGFI 67th National School Games, 2023-24 and won a silver medal in 50m backstroke with a time of 28.49 seconds in the Under-17 age category. The competition was held at Talkatora Stadium, New Delhi and received participation from some of the top swimmers in this category.


. Heartiest congratulations to Vivaan Chandna, Grade VII Mahanadi, for securing 1st position in the square one solving category and 2nd position in the 2x2x2 solving category. The participants were aged between 8 and 13 years and the event was organized by the Cube Federation of India on December 10, 2023.

Thirteen students.from Grades VII, VIII, IX & XI took part in the DELE Escolar - Spanish Certification Exam on November 17, 2023. Administered at Instituto Cervantes, Connaught Place, the exam covered Reading and Listening Comprehension, Writing Expression, and Oral Interaction. This exposure complemented their school exams, enriching their language skills. Encouraging results in February have spurred more students to take the exam in the future.

With the aim of encouraging our budding writers to delve into the beautiful world of writing, the school offered its young authors an exciting opportunity to showcase their passion and talent for storytelling. Our young authors embarked on a fascinating journey that encompassed the magic of imagination and the boundless possibilities it holds. They are not only writers but now published authors, their works a testament to their creativity and dedication. Kriday from Grade I Magpies, curious about the cosmos, wrote and published his first book, 'Bunny's Solar System Dream.' Sehar Gupta, inspired by the magical worlds and characters from her bedtime stories, expressed her creativity in her published work 'My Magical Diaries, Vol 1'. Sara Katyal, reflecting her vivid imagination, penned and published 'Adventures of Sofia & Bella.' Saesha Jain, an avid reader, showcased tales of courage in her published books 'Ella's and the Dance Contest' and 'Sam, the Magician'. Kiara Chopra from Grade I Hummingbirds emerged as a promising author with the publication of 'The Adventures of Kiara'. Vedant Shah's magical creation 'King of the Jungle' also joined the ranks of published works. The aspiring writers of Grade II have inspired others with their stories. Parinika Sharma of Parrots wrote 'Mira’s Trip,' and Marya Walia of Doves authored 'Ria Adopted a Dog,' both stories emphasizing compassion and kindness. Himanshi Goel's 'Rosy and the King Frog' and Dhaani Singhal of Bulbuls' 'Deep Blue Odyssey' were captivating tales of distant lands. Grade III Skylarks' learners published numerous adventures. 'The Unicorn Adventure' by Dhanvi Chaudhary, 'Yashneil and His Fish Friend' by Yashneil Vijay, 'Adventure in Magic Village' by Ilisha Agrawal, 'The Cricket Tournament' by Hridaan Singh, and 'The Dreamcatcher' by Parisha Kumar were all a treat to read and garnered our appreciation. The learners of Grade III Peacocks added thrilling stories to the collection of published works, with Alina Bhardwaj’s 'Dog in Space', Avyan Soni’s 'A Cool Robotic Life Chapter – 2', Riddhi Mittal of Hornbills' 'The Haunted House', Siona Chawla’s 'A Mighty Touch', and Vanya Jain’s 'The TRex Who Misses a Bone' providing enriching and rewarding experiences for the children. With each word, our budding authors shared their passion for storytelling, captivating the readers with vibrant imagery and limitless creativity, thereby fostering a thriving literary community of young published authors.

The book delves into diverse topics as the budding authors opine about pressing issues confronting the world. Dhruvikaa Reddy of Grade XI Dalton has contributed a thought-provoking chapter, as a co-author in ‘Voices of Tomorrow’, published by Global Influencers Publishing House. We take pride in introducing to you our debut authors from Grade IV- Kushagra Prakash, Tanush Bhardwaj, Aahana Agarwal, Naisha Shukla, and Vedanshi Jaggi. Under the guidance of their parents and mentors, these young talents have crafted their imaginative worlds into captivating stories. Kushagra's "City bound dreams of Jack" follows Jack, a sporty orphan, on an enchanting adventure beyond his orphanage's confines. Vedanshi’s “Curious Ruby” beautifully narrates the bond between Lily and her pet cat Ruby. Naisha’s “Tales of The Turquoise Gem” intricately weaves the experiences of Lia, her grandmother, and her best friend Molly. Inspired by Chandrayaan 3's success, Tanush penned "Chandrayaan 3: Journey of Success," expressing his pride and admiration for India's scientific achievements while Aahana's "Toothless Dracula" spins a heartwarming tale of determination. . “When you’re riding, only the race in which you’re riding is important.” -Bill Shoemaker We are extremely delighted to announce the exceptional achievement of Shaurya Bhatia of Grade IV at the Junior Nationals ’23 held in Bangalore. Shaurya won more than 8 Medals in various Regional Equestrian Leagues across different states in Show Jumping and Dressage - Delhi, Haryana, U.P. & Karnataka. Shaurya won the Individual Bronze Medal, and secured a team position in the Dressage Event. Shaurya was the youngest rider to participate in this tournament and his triumph is a result of his optimistic approach, dedication, and rigorous training. . “When you see a good move, look for a better one” -Emanuel Lasker Jasmeh Singh Khosla of Grade X Alps participated in The Great Indian Youth Festival and won the 2nd prize in the Under-15 category in the chess tournament, Rapid and Blitz Chess. Jasmeh's won nine matches, while one ended in a draw, in the tournament organised in Dhyan Chand National Stadium, on 23rd and 24th December 2024. She bagged a trophy and a cash prize. Her achievement exemplifies sheer dedication and commitment to her sport.


. We proudly announce the exceptional achievements of grade XI Commerce learners at the Accounting Olympiad held on February 4, 2024. Hosted by The School of Commerce, Finance and Accountancy, CHRIST (Deemed to be University), NCR Campus, our learners showcased their accounting prowess, winning The Best Accounting School Trophy. Through training, they equip themselves with the tools to build foundations that not only withstand challenges but also inspire others to construct their own paths to excellence. This quarter, Lotus Valley embarked on a dynamic series of workshops aimed at augmenting the expertise of our mentors, thereby enriching our educational milieu. The workshop ‘Recognizing Behavioural Signals: A Teacher's Guide’ led by Ms. Preeti Garkhel and Ms. Mahita Kochhar from the Counselling & Special Education Needs (SEN) Department, stood out significantly because it provided a comprehensive blend of theoretical insights and practical strategies. This session was instrumental in fostering a deeper understanding of student behaviours, emphasizing the essential collaboration between teachers and parents to effectively address and support students' behavioural needs. Likewise, our Hindi mentors, Ms. Priyanka Gupta, Ms. Deepali Srivastava and Ms. Harsh Prabha delved into the nuances of Hindi grammar. Their innovative approach, incorporating songs and interactive activities, transformed the learning process into an engaging and indelible experience. Furthermore, a workshop was conducted by Ms. Kirti Hora to acquaint mentors with the school's Entab portal, featuring detailed demonstrations and a question-and-answer session to enhance their familiarity with its capabilities. These workshops, designed to foster skill enhancement and pedagogical innovation, are integral to our commitment to elevating the teaching experience.

Lotus Valley International School conducted a POCSO workshop led by Mr. Pradeep from Social Axiom Foundation on March 16th, 2024. Recognizing the importance of child safety, the workshop aimed to educate teachers and ancillary staff about the Protection of Child from Sexual Offences Act. Ms. Anita Malhotra, the Director Principal, introduced Mr. Pradeep, highlighting the significance of Project CACA in preventing child abuse. The session covered essential topics such as child rights and gender equality, promoting a safe environment for children. Mr. Pradeep also discussed the POSH Act. The workshop concluded with clarifications, feedback, and a vote of thanks from Vice Principal Mrs. Ruchi Joshi.
