HINDI OLYMPIAD (6th Aug, 2019)

Hindi Vikas Sansthan, Delhi organized the
coveted Hindi Olympiad on 6 August 2019
at Lotus Valley International School,
Gurugram. Students from classes II- X
participated in the test which evaluated
their knowledge of Vocabulary, Grammar,
Subject proficiency and knowledge of
eminent literary figures of the Hindi
Language. Students participated in the
Olympiad with much zeal and vigor. It was
evident in the result as the students made
the school proud with their outstanding
performance.

Anushka Rathore received a special
mention for securing the 1st Position at the
National Level and honoured with trophies
and certificates. 15 students received Gold,
17 silver and 5 Bronze medals.

JAIPUR EQUESTRIAN CHAMPIONSHIP (20th Sep, 2019)

Chaitanya Bansal of Grade XI Aristotle won glories at the above championship. He bagged a
Gold medal in Dressage and Silver show.

WORLD ROBOT OLYMPIAD 2019

Shaurya Gupta of Grade VIII Mahanadi participated in WRO (World Robot Olympiad)
Regional Championship (For Delhi NCR Region). Shaurya and his team members were
among 30 teams and 90 participants and won the First Prize.

FELICITATION BY HINDI VIKAS MANCH (16th Oct, 2019)

Hindi Vikas Manch , Delhi felicitated the students who scored 100 marks in the annual
CBSE exam (2018-19) conducted by Hindi Vikas Manch, an event was held at Air Force
Auditorium, Subroto Park. The students were awarded "Gyankunj Puraskar" and their
teacher received the "Bhasha Saarthi Award".

INTER- HOUSE FOOTBALL COMPETITION : Grades IV-V
(25th Sep ,2019)

The Inter- House football Competition for Grades IV-V was conducted on Wednesday
September 25, 2019 in the school greens.
Each house had twelve players on the playing field. The aim of each team was to score a
goal in the opponent’s goalpost.
It was overwhelming to witness the senior children of school football team to execute,
manage and cheer the young players of Grade IV- V. The senior children of Grades X-XI
executed their duties as Central Referee, Linesmen, Ball manager, Score keepers and
Match Photographers. They decided whether infringements of the rules had been
committed, with the assistance of an official score and a timekeeper.

The Competition witnessed successful attempts, one point & two point conversions,
clippings & touchdowns. It was overwhelming to view the level of talent and skills in our
young participants.
The panel of Judges included the Head of Sport Department Mr. Ranjit Singh Rawat and
Mr. Rahul Faculty Football. The learners were assessed on the game fundamentals.
Teresa House bagged the First Position for Grades IV-V
The competition witnessed proficient skills, fair outcomes, teamwork and endurance of
our young athletes.

Fitness defines the ability to perform physical activity, and encompasses a wide range of
abilities. Each activity and sports requires a specific set of skills, and so being fit for an
activity or a sport does not necessarily make you fit for another. Fitness is generally divided

into specific fitness categories or components, and each can be tested and trained
individually. Through the Khelo India app we can upload the raw data of all the students
and can assess the present status of fitness level of the children. It will help both teacher
and children to know the present status of fitness Level and further suggestion and training
can be provided to the students. Following are the components of fitness which have to be

assess:-

learner Megha Bisht of Grade 10 Andes, who was selected for this championship and won 1
Gold medal and 2 Silver Medals and a Champion’s Trophy .

She has now qualified for the Nationals, which would take place in Belgaon, Karnataka in

Federation of India (RSFI) Championship which was held in Baliawas ,Gurugram on 19th and
20th October 2019. Both the learners won medals in this championship. Both of the
students have been selected for RSFI Haryana State Roller Skating Championship to be
organized from 22nd to 24th November at Baliawas Track, Gurugram.
