CBSE in association with Azim Premji Foundation framed the Learning Standards Framework. This is a very comprehensive and contemporary document which aligns the curriculum expectations, pedagogical process, learning outcomes and Assessment objectives. I was invited to speak on the best practices of Suncity School The best practices that we incorporate in the curriculum in Suncity School in the form of our syllabus, pedagogy and differential learning with focus on multiple intelligences SDGs and Application, Skills, Knowledge – ASK were shared with CBSE school Heads, English teachers and others. WORKSHOP ORGANISED BY CBSE & AZIM PREMJI FOUNDATION The Director is the member of HT Think Tank committee held at DELHI 26th march 2022 Hindustan Times - Think Tank is a cohort of Heads of Schools – Owners, Directors, Principals who have come under the aegis of the tabloid/ daily newspaper Hindustan Times to advise them in various matters related to the new look and feel that HT wishes to bring to HT-School, which has a wide readership by students, teachers, educationalists and others was held on Monday, 14th March 2022. A meet was organized for 25 Heads of schools from the NCR at The Lodhi Hotel, New Delhi. It was a good platform for HT to highlight their achievements and take review from the school HEADS regarding HT-PACE and pick their brain for taking forward Hindustan Times with a new look and feel. The Director has been invited by CBSE to be on the committee for English as an esteemed member for three years. They will be re-framing and editing the English syllabus of grades IX to XII to comply with the recommendations of NEP. She attended the first meeting for the same on Tuesday, 22nd March. The Suncity teachers edited the existing Communicative English – MCB- Main course book and Literature text and gave an aoverall feedback for the content. IN DUBAI- FOR THE SUNCITY HEADS OFFSITE…ELEMENT OF CAMARADERIE AFTER THE DILIGENCE…14th to 17th April 2022 DESIGN THINKING & innovation WORKSHOPS SCHOOLS INNOVATION COUNCIL(SIC) COSTITUTED BY THE MINISTERY OF EDUCATION,CBSE AND AICTE THE FIRST AND SECOND WORKSHOPS ,HELD ON DESIGN THINKING ON , 14th JULY 2022. Schools Innovation Council –SIC constituted of the Ministry of education, CBSE and AICTE held itsworkshops on Design Thinking in: DELHI, JAIPUR,KOLKATA, BHUBANESHWAR, CHENNAI, GURGAON There was a lot of synergy amongst the government officials and resource persons whilst conducting the workshop. The representatives from the CBSE and Ministry of education were present at the inaugural ceremony. The Director, Suncity school was one of the resource persons out of three others including Prof Ravi Poovaiah from IIT Mumbai, Mr. Harish Sanduja , Head of Birla school in Doha, Qatar . Kavita Lal, Headmistress Primary years, Suncity school was one of the authors of the books written for grade VI and also a resource person . It is the first time in the world that Design thinking is being introduced to class VI students.

Being the chairperson of the GPSC, the first meeting was held at Suncity school, sector 54, Gurgaon. The meeting began with all the GPSC dignitaries being served lunch . This was followed by a jugalbandi by Pandit Shubhendra Rao on the Sitar and Vidushi Saskia Rao on the Cello which was mesmerizing and left every one in the audience spell bound. The duo maestros explained the importance of integrating MUSIC into all the main stream subjects. It helped the schools to realize the importance of MUISC via-a-vis teaching of other subjects. This was followed by the general body meeting and distributing of the gifts generously given by the Suncity school management.
New Zealand High Commission Monday, 19th of September 2022 Our director Mrs Rupa Chakravarty was invited to the New Zealand High Commission on Monday, 19th of September 2022 to meet Hon Damien O’Connor, New Zealand Minister for Trade and Export Growth, Minister of Agriculture, Minister for Biosecurity, Minister for Land Information and Minister for Rural Communities. The event was hosted by New Zealand High Commissioner David Pine and celebrated 70 years of India New Zealand diplomatic relations.
