Animals and birds on a farm and around home

Salina's father has got a farm. He has kept different animals on
his farm. His father has two cows and a buffalo in the shed. They
give them milk. Mother milks the cows and buffalo twice a day.
After that father takes the milk to market. They also keep some
milk for family. Mother makes curd and later ghee from milk for
the family.

He has kept a pair of oxen. They help them plough the field.
Salina's father feeds these animals with grass and fodder and
water. He knows when they are hungry or thirsty. They just
moo. Salina also helps her father sometimes. She loves to play
with the calf.

Likewise, there are some goats and sheep in the pen. The goats
and pigs bleat in the morning. Then, father brings them out and
gives them something to eat. The kids and lambs are lovely.
Salina just loves them. She enjoys playing with them.

In pigsty, there are a couple of pigs. They just grunt there. The
piglets also love to play in the dirty water. Father gives them to
play there. They are dirty. Thus, Salina does not like to play with
them. Father sells them in the market.

The farm also has some birds. Hens, cocks and chicks are kept
in a hen coop. The cock always wakes the family up. It gives
cock-a-doodle-do in early morning. The hen and chicks cackle
and come out after the cock comes out. Then, mother gives them
grains. These chicks and hen give the family eggs and meat.

Around the farm, Salina can see some crows flying. The crow
comes to the farm to eat insects. Likewise, birds like sparrows
