A community is not merely a collection of individual persons; it is a set of relationships, including the
attitudes and behaviour of its members”. It is truly an honour to play a pivotal part in running this special San
community, with our wonderful students, teachers, and parents. I see a group of students with magnificent potential,
an institution that’s on its way to become one of India’s best, and a campus that has become a flourishing epicenter
for student and community life. The future is so very bright and promising, I request you to heartily join me in
structuring and designing our pathway to this wonderful vision.
San Academy, no doubt is ascending strongly and swiftly in its pursuit to attain a paramount place in the
field of academic excellence. The environment of this school is a place where students come to learn, grow, and
create. Our teachers astutely tap into their creative spirit and help them achieve their goals of academic excellence.
Proud to say that our school is also a flourishing hub for nurturing and promoting competence and talents
in co-curricular activities with inspiring clubs, sports teams, community service opportunities & requirements and
trips. The campus comes alive with their passion for such extramural activities and sessions.

“Somewhere, something incredible is waiting to be known.” - Carl Sagan
I stumbled upon this amazing quote recently and realised how relevant it is for all of us: children, parents
and teachers. There is never any point in the life of a person when he can sit back and say. “There is nothing more
to learn, I can relax with the comforting thought that the universe around me is an open book. I know it all.”
Education is not just about the subjects that are learnt and taught in school. Becoming educated is not
restricted to being in school and then in college, gathering certificates and feeling proud of oneself. It is a lifelong
exercise that can be unbelievably exciting if only we wish to jump onto the train of experience and take a trip to
every conceivable place on the earth. Now we know that this cannot be done literally, so how do we manage it, first
in school and then as we go on through the journey of life?
First, we all have to be on the same page: children, teachers and parents have to understand that education
is not restricted to lessons taught in the classroom from text books. Parents and teachers must encourage children
to ask as many questions as they can. For it is in wanting to know that will result in actually getting to know.
The thirst for knowledge is not restricted to the child. It is also essential for a parent and a teacher to keep
adding to their own knowledge bank by keeping their eyes and ears open and by reading as much as possible and
ensuring that children develop these habits as well.
At this juncture, I humbly request parents to understand that each child is unique and he/she has a distinct
potential and skill sets. Come to imagine a hidden masterpiece inside a white canvas or a spectacular sculpture
beneath a marble or a sonata in a violin waiting to be unveiled.
Not all successful intellects are doctors, engineers and barristers. Success arises when passion in a field
achieves its rightful triumph. Lets strive together to help them metamorphose into righteous citizens of this
community completely aware of their responsibilities towards people and the environment in which they dwell.
Half of the success is delivered here.
Let’s begin by turning ourselves into exemplary examples for our children. Lets instigate them to shun
plastics by doing so ourselves. Let’s imbibe in them the spirit of green revolution by sowing seeds of such ideologies
in their mind and in the soil in all exuberance with them. Children sub-consciously become what they see. And I
envisage them going to great zeniths with us to lead them seamlessly on that path.
So join us as we are all set to make rich achievements in the coming years marking the beginning of an all new era
in the history of San Academy and its eminence.

Inculcating discipline and moral values in the students to cater to the ever-changing norms of the society,

Being well aware of the fact that children in the
present times are more sensitive, with a very
high self-esteem and practice independent
thinking, the educators at San Academy
Group of Schools get the best out of the children
through the positive reinforcement of good work and
good behavior. Believing in the notion that every child
is unique in nature with varying needs, they foster a
conducive environment full of love, care, motivation
and creativity, and instill in the children a desire
to learn with emphasis on their social, emotional,
physical, aesthetic, intellectual and developmental
aspects, rather than criticism, fear and punishment.
AN ENRICHING ODYSSEY
Bent on exploring the journey of education by
providing enrichment through values and exposure
to varied learning opportunities with an emphasis on
holistic education, San Academy Group of Schools
has a proud academic tradition which maximises

More to add, Ms. Archana strongly believes in the
students’ freedom of action and thought, and is
consistently working with an aim of taking her schools
to the pinnacle of glory, by making the children
excel in all the arenas. Considering every student as
an unpolished stone when she or he enters into the
school, she feels that it is the school’s dedicated mission
to shape them into dazzling diamonds in facing the
futuristic challenges of the complex and competitive
world. According to her, every SAN-ite should
love the school and be always eager to be a part its
success story. She also insists on making the learning
environment conducive and productive with the help
of audio-visual aids, computers, smart boards, etc. and
constantly focuses on faculty development through
upgrading of teaching skills in terms of matter as well
as manner at regular intervals.
PROMOTING HOLISTIC DEVELOPMENT
Nurturing a vision for holistic development of the
students, San Academy has introduced various
activities as ‘After School Programme’ from the
Academic Year 2018-19. With a view that classroom
teaching-learning environment gets strengthened
by after-school activities, this programme is an
attempt to target the aesthetic development, character
enrichment, spiritual and physical growth, of the
students and is a means of developing their skills
and competence. In addition, such extracurricular
activities enable the students to express themselves
freely and inculcate the values of co-operation and
brace the students for the challenges of the future.
EXHIBITING THE INNATE TALENTS OF
CHILDREN IS THE PRIME PRINCIPLE OF
SAN ACADEMY INSTITUTIONS.

Fitness Week Celebration– 13.11.2019 to 19.11.2019
For any society or Nation to progress, it’s important that their citizens are physically fit. The challenges of
the modern day life has brought along with it the need to be more physically proactive and fit in order to face its
challenges with optimum energy and positivity. Fit children areable to handle day-to-day physical and emotional
challenges better. However, for a holistic and intrinsically healthy lifestyle, awareness and support for fitness
movement is more essential than ever.
To infuse physical activity in our daily life, we at San Academy Kamakoti Nagar, conducted various
sessions for different classes during the week. The importance of Yoga and the need to inculcate it into our daily
lives was instilled by our KG Head, Mrs. Geetha. A talk on ‘Fitness and Nutrition’ by Ms Preeti, our school counselor,

Library Week Celebration - 25.11.2019 to 30.11.2019
“A reader lives a thousand lives before he dies . . . The man who never reads lives only one.”
To inculcate the habit of reading, ‘Library Week’ was observed from 25th November. Various interactive sessions
were conducted for the students according to their ages. While Classes from Senior KG to Class 5, enjoyed their
sessions during their library period, Classes 6 and above used their zero period. Art of story telling is a science in
itself. A good story teller must be highly skilled, understand the audience well and proficient enough to captivate
the audience. As the listeners listen with their eyes, ears and hearts, a quality story-teller can keep the audience
spell-bound. The session by Ms.Sowmya our school’s resource person for reading and story telling interacted
with children with lot of stories . Children enjoyed her sessions. Moving from listening to reading, a child picks
up a picture book with large printing. The students from class one moved from hearing stories to reading aloud.
This activity strengthens speaking, listening, writing, and reading and comprehension skills and: increases their
vocabulary. When they get their hands on books they understand and enjoy, they start to get hooked to reading.
