What are your favorite hobbies and why?

I’ve tried a lot of different hobbies over the past few years. I was really into playing all kinds of video
games, but after a while I didn’t find them much fun anymore. I was also into painting for a couple
of years, but I wasn’t very good at it. I wanted to be creative, and I hated that I couldn’t find the
right hobby. One day, I went to the museum, where I saw a photography exhibition. I loved looking
at all of the interesting photos. After that, I got a new camera. I take it everywhere with me now.

Photography is a great way for me to be creative, and I’m actually good at taking pictures!

I’m fond of watching movies with my friends. On weekends, we spend hours watching all different
kinds of movies, like horror and dramas. But, my favorite movies to watch involve a lot of action. I
think action movies are more exciting than any other type of movie. When I’m not watching
movies, I like to be outdoors. I guess I would say my other hobby is camping. I never get bored
when I’m outside in nature. I’m also into camping because we sit around the fire at night and tell
each other ghost stories. But, what I don’t like about camping are the insects. I can’t stand it when I
find bugs in my tent at night. Yuck!

Rules and Taboos in Japan

There are many dos and don’ts in Japan that first-time travelers should take note of. This unique culture is full of
wonderful things to see and do. But, before you go, it’s important to keep a few things in mind. When you first
meet someone in Japan, be polite and bow. Japanese people sometimes also shake hands, but it’s best to wait
to see what the other person does as a greeting.

When entering someone’s home in Japan, be sure to take off your shoes. Wherever you’re required to remove
your footwear, such as in some restaurants and hotels, it’s important that you do so. When it comes to eating,
most visitors to Japan are willing to use chopsticks to eat their meals. There are a few dos and don’ts related to
the use of chopsticks. The most important rule is to not leave them standing upright in a bowl of rice. It’s also
considered offensive to play with your chopsticks. This includes drumming with them and waving them to get
the waitstaff’s attention. However, when it comes to eating noodles in Japan, you do not need to apologize for
slurping. In any noodle restaurant, you’ll be surrounded by people who are happily slurping and you won’t look
like an outsider if you do the same.
