With this documentation, students, visitors and anyone can refer to and get more information from the presentation of pictures. BAR BENDING INSTRUMENT: It is used to bend various sizes of steel with different angles, which is often used in reinforced concrete. M A T E R I A L L A B O R A T O R Y CONCRETE CUTTE INSTRUMENT: This unit machine was designed specifically to cut concrete and core samples. It includes a special design solid clamping device that allows many irregular specimens to be held firmly in place during the cutting operation. (Clamping device with a cylinder shape. Clamping device with an irregular shape.) FURNACE INSTRUMENT: It is used to incinerate concrete and other samples at temperatures up to 2500 ° C. 26

Features include a side guard and a drainage water outlet. A clamp provided to firmly secure the material during the cutting cycle, a sliding front allows access to the specimen clamp. Geotechnic Lab of the Faculty of Civil Engineering, UTM oversees the geotechnic curriculum of the facultyand faculty’s community. It is wellequipped with some of the lateststate-of-the-geotechnic equipment. The unit primarily provides teaching and learning, research, consultancy and practical trainingto students. As a way of contributing to the society, staffs in the lab is also involved in rendering professional geotechnic services to the third parties. The Geotechnic Lab, UTM located at Block D03 with the size of floor area is about 2000m². The laboratory is well-equipped with geotechnic machines such as a Fully Automatic Dynamic Triaxial, Double Wall Triaxial, Automatic Soil Compactor, Motorized Shear Box, Cherchar Abrasivity, Ceramic Plate Extractor, Laser Particle Size Analyzer, Bender Element, Resistivity Survey Equipment, Seismic Survey Equipment and Universal Testing Machine. Geotechnic is headed by a laboratory coordinator and geotechnic lab staffs who will look after the development the technicalaspects and maintenance of the equipmentfrom occasionally related to TnL, Researchand Consultancy in various fieldsuch as geotechnical engineering. Geotechnic Lab also actively collaborate with numerous partiesin carrying out various activities such as community services,short courses, teaching& learning, research& development and consultancy activities with Faculty of Civil Engineering, Faculties and UTM Research Group, Centre of Excellent (COE),consultants, government and private agencies. Geotechnic Lab also provides geotechnic equipment rental services for the use of UTM students researchers, staff and external parties.
