The Resource Centre of the Faculty of Civil Engineering, UTM is a centre that provides equipment and technical services for staff and students to organise any events or programs as well as teaching and learning activities. It is well-equipped with various technological equipment to help the faculty’s community organising their activities and programs. The mission of the Resource Centre is to assist and support the staff and students in technical services and promote the integration of technology in teaching, learning and research at the Faculty of Civil Engineering, UTM. The Resource Centre is located at the ground floor, Block M48, Faculty of Civil Engineering. The centre is well equipped with computer and IT tools such as laptops, digital cameras, video camera recorders, PA systems, LCD projectors and others. The Resource Centre also actively collaborates with various parties in carrying out various activities and events such as community services, short courses, seminar, teaching & learning, and research activities with Faculty of Civil Engineering, Research Group, Centre of Excellent (COE) and government agencies. Some of the activities that have been involved are such as Professional Briefing and Career Development Program for UTHM Technical Staff, and Jabatan Harta Bina in collaboration with SKA, Technical Writing Course Program for Technical Staff, Occupational Safety & Health Award (AKKP) 2020, Free Food for SKA Students, Official Visit to DOSH Johor, OSHE Committee Meeting, Credit Exemption and Syllabus Revision Workshop, Meeting with the Public Works Department of Malaysia and many more.
