春之共鸣音乐会圆满成功

在一首“What a wonderful world”的歌声 王爽
中，第 14 届 Echo of Spring 春之共鸣音乐
会完满落下帷幕。 此次音乐会正值缅省中文
学院 40 周年庆典期间，共有 280 位来宾及
VIP 嘉宾到场参加，感受中国与意大利别样
的音乐文化。通过音乐与美食，我们庆祝彼
此友谊的融合，同时促进了互相文化的交流
与沟通。每一年的今天，这里都是音乐的殿
堂，我们用歌声唱出对生活的热爱和对彼此
的祝福。

在此次音乐会上，缅省中文学院合唱团共演唱了西域情歌《嘎俄丽泰》，内蒙古民歌《鸿雁》
，新疆民歌《阿拉木汗》，天主教歌曲《圣母玛利亚》，抒情歌曲《大海啊故乡》等九首歌。
意大利合唱团也演唱了民族歌曲“Tic Ti Tic Ta”, “La Romanina”, “Quel Mazzolin oi Fio-
ri”, “Pasta Song”等多首歌曲。随着歌曲内容的转换，他们的歌声时而婉转，时而欢快，时
而优美，时而悲伤，台下的听众们也听得陶醉，入神。一同悲伤，一同思乡，一同欢乐。接近
音乐会尾声时，两团还合唱了中国民歌《康定情歌》及意大利歌曲”Nel Blu, Dipinto Di Blu”
，表达了两团对音乐的共同热爱之情。

此次音乐会的成功，是大家共同努力的结果。我们要感谢 The Minister of Family Services,
Kerri Irvin-Ross; The Minister of Multiculturalism and Literacy, Flor Macelino; 以及缅省中文
学院理事长杨爱芳女士的莅临， Yvonne Bayer-Cheung 和Lisa Machking 的精彩主持，中
院儿童舞蹈班孩子们可爱的舞蹈，中院及意大利合唱团所有团员们的辛苦练习与精彩的演出，
还有所有的义工朋友们慷慨的支持。最后，还要感谢意大利文化中心Caboto Centre 为我们
提供的场地及美食。没有大家的支持与帮助，就不会有如此成功的音乐会。虽然今年的春之共
鸣已结束，但那欢乐和优美的歌声仿佛仍环绕在我们的耳边。就让我们共襄盛举，一齐庆祝本
届音乐会的圆满成功，并期待明年的再次聚首!

The Echo of Spring Concert carries a special Terence Wu 胡詡傑
meaning this year. Not only is this annual
concert in its 14th year, this year marks the
40th Anniversary of the Manitoba Academy
of Chinese Studies (MACS). Although we
are planning on a special 40th Anniversary
Concert to be held in November this year,
our choir members had been anticipating
the Echo of Spring Concert with a
celebrating mood and pride.

It was a beautiful day on May 25th, the first weekend with nice warm weather after the
prolonged winter this year. By 5:30 pm at the Centro Caboto Centre, guests started filling
in at the elegantly decorated Mauro Hall. At 6 p.m. the ambient lights were dimmed and
the emcees Yvonne Bayer Cheung and Lisa Mackling announced the start of the evening
program. After opening remarks by Lisa Mackling, the executive director of the Centro
Caboto and me, followed by the greetings delivered by Kerri-Irvin Ross, the Minister of
Family Services, and Cora Hew, the president of the Manitoba Academy of Chinese Studies,
the 4 course dinner was served in an elegant and friendly setting.
After dinner, our Academy’s children dance group kicked off the entertainment program with
the lovely “Peach Fairy Dance”. With Lingling Liu as the conductor and Deborah Tsao and
Justin Lin taking turns as the accompanists, the MACS Choir then started the first set of the
entertainment program with the dramatic Xinjiang folksong “Ga’Olitai 嘎哦泰”, followed by
the calm and gentle melody of “The Moon 月光” written by the famous composer Ren Che.
The MACS ladies chorus then took the stage and delivered a lovely rendition of “The Path-
Variations 小路变奏曲”, a Russian folksong about a woman’s lament for a soldier who has
gone to war. The MACS Choir then finished the first set with the Mongolian folksong “Swan
Goose 鸿雁” which I wrote part of the arrangement for our choir. The song’s ending section
calls for a high Bb for the sopranos and tenors and the choir handled it beautifully, to the
delight of the audience.
The Viva l’Italian Choir and the Italian singers then took the stage and performed their first
Set of performance with 4 songs, conducted by Julie Biggs followed by the 2 Italian folk
dances “Fisarmonica Tarantella” and “Tarantella alla Chitarra” by the “Le Ragazze Italiane”
(Rosy Infantino, Coordinator). The difference in style between the 2 choirs was welcome and
cheered by the audience.

I started the second set of the MACS performance with my solo “Von Ewiger Liebe” by
Johannes Brahms, accompanied by our guest accompanist Lotus Yang, a song with gorgeous
long-lined melody, thick harmonic textures, combining folk-like traditions with the beauty
of romanticism. The MACS Choir then took the stage again and performed 3 beautiful
songs with contrasting theme and styles. The simple and yet elegant tune of “The Ocean Is
My Home 大海啊故乡” was sung beautifully by the choir with Sophie Liu and myself as the
soloists, a song that I had written the solo parts with a modified arrangement for this concert.
As in previous years, the men’s chorus amazed the audience with the lively and playful
rendition of the Xinjiang folksong “Alamuhan 阿拉木汗”. The MACS choir then concluded
this set of the program with “Ave Maria- Gounod 圣母颂” in which Lingling sang the solo
melody accompanied by the chorus of our choir, while I took up the role of conducting the
song. Lingling’s superb display of her soprano virtuosity and the angelic voice of the harmony
sung by the chorus earned a great round of applause from the audience.
After the second set of very entertaining performance of 2 songs from the Viva l’Italia Choir
and the solos “Mamma” by Cinzia Montesanti, and “Core ‘ngrato” by Mario Audino, the 2
choirs joined together and sang the final set with 3 songs in 3 different languages, “Nel Blu,
Dipinto Di Blu” in Italian, “Kanding Love Song 康定情歌” in Chinese and “What a Wonderful
World” in English. The evening then came to a conclusion with the closing remarks by Lisa
Mackling and me.
This is indeed the most successful and entertaining Echo of Spring Concert as evident by the
positive feedback and appreciation from the audience. Our choir has gone through many
changes since this annual concert started 14 years ago, but this event has always kept our
choir in focus and motivated our choir to improve each year. With the influx of many of our
new members who have come from China in recent years, the concert also has brought to
them the awareness and appreciation of the exchange between the two cultures. Thanks
to Lisa Mackling and the Centro Caboto for co-sponsoring this event and thanks to Mario
Audino and the Viva l’Italia Choir for their friendship and participation!

“春之共鸣”音乐会从 2001 年的第一届开始，到今天已经 14 年了！我们缅省中文学院合唱
团经历了许多变化，也取得了许多进步，而“春之共鸣”音乐会一直是我们合唱团成长进步的
动力。特 别值得一提的是春之共鸣音乐会让我们许多从中国移民来的新团员见识，体会和参
与了中国和意大利文化的交流互动. 特别感谢 Lisa 和意大利文化中心共同赞助这个活动；感谢
Mario Audino 和意大利合唱团的友情和参与!

缅省中华青少年夏令营

每两年在温尼泊华人社区举办的缅省中华青

年夏令营是一项非常有意义且很受欢迎的活

动。它不但为当地的华裔青少年提供了一个

学习中华传统文化的机会，而且还增进了海

外华裔青少年对台湾多元文化的认识。自

1995年起缅省中华青少年夏令营由本市五个

社区组织联合主办——中华会馆、中华文化

社、中华学院、培英中文学校和缅省中文学 杨爱芳 缪慧
院。每年轮流由其中一个组织担任主办单

位，其余四个协办。每次夏令营大约需要六个月筹备，才能使为期五天的夏令营能顺利、圆满

地进行。近十多年来，这五个单位一直都合作得非常融洽，也很愉快。华社间的友谊关系也藉

此机会得到了巩固。中文学院每年的参与都非常积极，至今已成功主办了四次夏令营，每次的

学生人数都不下50人。参与筹办夏令营的中院代表都受到其它社团的称赞。今年又一度轮到中

文学院主办，目前筹备工作已经在积极地进行中！

众所周知，缅省中华青少年夏令营活动是由台湾侨务委员会赞助的,至今已有十八年历史。侨委

会每年提供的教学内容深受华裔青少年喜爱。民间艺术、民间舞蹈和民间体育活动都是非常受

欢迎的项目。侨委会选派的教师，都非常专业，又满怀热忱。他们兢兢业业地教授学生，使每

个孩子都得益匪浅。学生家长都对老师们肃然起敬。

2014年缅省中华夏令营于八月十一日至八月十五日隆重举行。今年的夏令营像往年一样由台湾

侨务委员会资助，除派了两位专业老师外，还邮寄来所需的舞蹈及体育教具供夏令营的学生们

使用。本届的夏令营是中文学院为主办单位故由我院理事长杨爱芳任主席，由中华文化社，中

华会馆，中华学院，培英中文学校四个单位协办下共同完成。从今春二月份开始夏令营筹委会

就着手准备师资，财务，教务，场地等事宜。在历时五个多月的准备中，中院先后组织召开了

五次集体会议和一次夏令营教师，助教的培训会议。这些精细的筹划和准备均为夏令营的顺利

进行和完成打下了充分扎实的基础。

今年夏令营的舞蹈老师林家丽和体育老师邓倩雯，均是按以往惯例由台湾派出的。她们有着精

湛的民俗舞蹈和民俗体育的专业知识和技术，还有耐心细致的教学精神和态度。在这一周的教

学中，她们赢得了大，中，小班全体同学的尊敬和欢迎。两位老师对教学的敬业精神也给筹委

会会员和教师以及助教们留下深刻难忘的印象。在一周时间里，小班同学学到了舞蹈三月茶

园，中国扯铃等。中班同学学到了舞蹈白鹭鸶，青春舞铃等。大班同学学到了中国舞蹈俏佳

人，神乎其技等。同学们所学的这些学习成果都在最后一天下午的结业典礼上，做了精彩的汇

报演出和展示。特邀嘉宾们，家长们和朋友们观看时掌声不断，喝彩声此起彼伏。

因台湾未派出美劳老师，在我院理事会秘书缪慧的推荐下，经夏令营主席杨爱芳和其它协作单
位同意，今年的夏令营美劳老师由本地的私家美术教师施桢荣老师担任。施老师根据他多年的
教学经验，精心准备了以中国纸塑艺术为主题的美劳教学计划。他对大，中，小班均制定了不
同的教学计划，在上课中手把手地教同学们纸塑技巧。每位同学都学到了剪纸，折纸，裁纸和
立体纸雕等艺术以及彩绘技术。到结业时，每人都有许多手工作品得以展示，并高兴的带回家
留作对夏令营美好时光的纪念。
这次夏令营的结业典礼上，非常荣幸地邀请到了缅省省督李绍麟伉俪，省多元文化部长Flor
Marcelina, 和家庭服务部部长Karri Irvin Ross。他们的到场为我们带来了极大鼓舞，另外众多
学生家长，朋友的到来也是对同学们的助阵和鼓励。非常感谢他们的光临和支持！
学生们在夏令营中学到了中华民俗舞蹈，民俗体育和艺术。使他们深深地体会到中华文化的丰
富多彩和博大精深。进而促进和提高了他们学习中文的兴趣。许多学生从很小就来参加夏令
营，有的已参加了三，四 次，现在已是花样少年。当他们看到展出的以往夏令营的照片时，激
动不已。家长也为孩子们在夏令营中快乐成长感到高兴。他们看到了中华文化在海外代代相传
的希望。很多家长在问卷调查中均希望中华夏令营一直办下去，认为这是为孩子们提供了难得
的学习中华文化的机会。
这届中华夏令营，我们中文学院派出了以杨爱芳主席挂帅的强大工作团队。他们是筹委会会员
施君玉，缪慧，冯琇芬，李月树，朱蕾，胡蓉艳，刘建伟; 老师助理陈曙，吴莹，钱志坤; 文秘
和照相师王爽, 杨佳伟; 我院毕业的李彩莹等学生助理; 相师助理于子宜。团队中的每个人分工
合作，不辞辛苦，尽心尽职地完成各项夏令营筹备事宜和夏令营期间的工作。在此感谢各位，
辛苦了！
纵观今年的中华青少年夏令营，各方认为它值得继续办下去，中文学院将继续鼎力支持这一意
义深远的社区活动。今年正值我们中文学院四十年大庆，夏令营的隆重举行和圆满结束也为这
一庆祝增添了辉煌的色彩。

Manitoba Chinese Summer Camp

The Manitoba Chinese Summer Camp has earned the reputation as the most popular
Summer Camp in the Chinese Community! Over the last twenty years, this camp has been
successfully organized and operated jointly by the five Chinese community associations
namely: the Chinese Benevolent Association, the Chinese cultural society, the Manitoba
Academy of Chinese Studies, the Institute of Chinese Culture and Language and the PeiYing
Chinese School. These five organizations took turn to be the major co-ordinator with the
rest four as the assistants! It was held every two years for a period of five days generally in
the last week of August. The Camp was partially financed by the Taiwan Overseas Office by
sending three teachers along with their required teaching materials to the location where the
camp was being held! In addition to that, a substantial amount of cash subsidy was also paid
by the Taiwan Office.

The activities of the camp were well structured to focus on teaching the youths some
traditional Chinese arts in terms of dancing, handicrafts and physical exercises! The teachers
sent from Taiwan were very professionally trained with rich experiences in dealing with
young people! During the five days period in Camp, the Camp organizers had recruited
approximately 20 experienced teachers and volunteers to assist the guest teachers in the
classrooms! These teachers and volunteers were very carefully chosen and trained to work
with the youths in any situation! The five organizations who worked in perfect harmony
and understanding! They were also careful in managing the daily routine of the Camp!
Consequently all the students and parents were happy and enjoyed the pleasant atmosphere
of the entire camp!

2014 from August 11- 15 the Manitoba Chinese Summer Camp with the Academy of Chinese
Studies as the major co-ordinator was held in the City Oasis! There were about 50 students
ages 6 to 17 from various ethnic origins! After five months intense preparation with a very
capable committee headed by our President Cora Hew who was assisted by the members
namely: Kathy Lou, Yueshu Li, Angela Wu, Harriett Miao, Lana Zhu, and Helen Hu. Together
they concluded this year’s summer camp with brilliant success!
The Manitoba Chinese Summer Camp is such a worthwhile project which not only brought
joy to the Manitoba youths but also helped to foster and enhance the traditional Chinese
culture in our multicultural society of Manitoba!
This event was considered as one of our important millstone of our 40th Anniversary
celebration! We as a community would continue our support to this meaningful event in the
near future!!

我谨代表缅省中文学院全体师生，全体同仁欢迎各界来宾，学生和家长们出席今晚庆祝缅省中
文学院成立四十周年文艺晚会。谢谢您们的光临，希望大家喜欢晚会丰富多彩的节目，度过一
个愉快的夜晚。缅省中文学院成立四十年来，一直致力于教授中国语文并传播中华文化，中文
学院的成功和发展离不开华人社团的关爱，帮助和政府的支持。谢谢大家对本院的帮助和支持！

Dear students, parents and colleagues
On behalf of Manitoba Academy of Chinese Studies, I wish to warmly welcome and thank
all of you for joining us here today, in joy and celebration. Tonight, we have wonderful
performances from the MACS choir, the Winnipeg Chinese Choir and the Viva L’Italia Choir.
I’d like to take this opportunity to thank MACS Choir Director, Terry Wu, and his extraordinary
team involved in setting up this wonderful concert. As well, a warm thanks to all the guest
performers with us tonight.
This Gala Concert reflects some of the many diverse cultures in Winnipeg. It is also a
celebration of the longstanding desire of MACS to not only carry on Chinese culture and
values but more importantly to contribute to peace, cooperation and harmony between
different cultures within our multicultural society. 40 years ago, seven founding members with
their love of Chinese culture established MACS in the basement of a church with 7 students.
Through the efforts of founding members and numerous volunteers, MACS has grown
to become the largest Chinese School in Manitoba with more than 200 students (K to 12
grades). I would like to salute the founders for their vision and to thank the volunteers over
the years that have sacrificed their time for us. The success of MACs of course would not be
possible without the support of various Chinese organizations, Manitoba Multiculturalism and
Literacy, and the Winnipeg school division.
We hope to continue their efforts and celebrate many more years to come. Thank you and
enjoy the show!

四十华诞 流光溢彩

记缅省中文学院四十周年“中院之夜”音乐会

2014年11月15日晚，缅省中文学院建院四十周年盛大音乐会“中院之夜”在Jubilee Place隆
重上演。这是缅省中文学院四十周年庆典的一项重要活动。来观看演出的有特邀嘉宾，缅省中
文学校的同学们和家长们，各界热心中文学习的朋友和中文学院的教职员工。每位来宾都盛装
出席，笑容洋溢在每一张面孔上。

本次晚会由缅省中文学院的张懿婉老师和中院合唱团刘晓梅副团长担任司仪。首先，缅省中文
学院合唱团团长胡诩杰先生致开幕词，向大家介绍了晚会的组织情况，欢迎各界人士光临晚
会。中文学院理事长李月树先生致词代表中院感谢政府和各界同仁对中文学院的支持和帮助。
他说到缅省中文学院成立四十周年以来，一直致力于教授中文语言和传播中华文化，中文学
院的成功，发展和壮大离不开政府部门资助和各个华人社团的关爱。缅省多元文化部部长Flor
Marcelino女士莅临此盛会并送上热情洋溢的祝词。她提到，缅省中文学院为我省多元文化的
发展做了很大贡献。

在本次晚会上，中文学院为两位资深义工颁发了38年义工服务奖。他们是杨爱芳女士和林瑞鹏
先生。这两位义工都是在缅省中文学院创办之初就加入中院，这么多年来亲身经历了中院的发
展和壮大。其中，杨爱芳女士曾经长期担任中院理事长和中文学校校长，对中院的发展和壮大
付出了多年的心血和奉献，令人敬佩。林瑞鹏先生曾经担任中院理事长和是中院筹款委员会的
负责人，多年来他为中院做了大量的捐款和筹款工作, 中院人非常感谢他！会上杨爱芳女士和
叶枚生女士（代表林瑞鹏先生）均做了获奖发言。
音乐会在缅省中文学院合唱团优美的歌声中拉开序幕。他们先为我们带来了三首歌曲：活泼动
感的维吾尔族民歌“青春舞曲”，优美抒情的新疆民歌“在银色的月光下”和深情感人的哈萨
克族民歌“嘎哦丽泰”。他们精彩的演出得到了观众的热烈掌声。

接下来，由张懿婉老师编排的中文学院舞蹈班表演的儿童扇舞美丽娇艳，楚楚动人，三个可爱
的中文学校的小姑娘在梁祝的旋律中翩翩起舞，诠释了中文学校的学生对中国文化的了解和喜
爱。让我们为她们鼓鼓掌吧。

这次晚会的一大看点是中文学校的老师们也加入了演出的队伍。中院的朱蕾老师和刘晓梅老
师，以及舞蹈编排夏虹，为观众献上了新疆舞“达坂城的姑娘”，欢快优美，动作娴熟，轻
盈。咱们的老师不仅教学厉害，还多才多艺！接下来由乐韵合唱团为我们带来了三首歌曲：有
着强烈中国南方特色的中国民谣“茉莉花”和“兰花草”，韵律十足的“花莲舞曲”。在这里
我们向乐韵合唱团表示深深的感谢，谢谢对我们演出的大力支持。上半场的最后一个节目是舞
蹈“雨中花”，八位演员中有中文学校的老师 (新疆舞)，理事会的成员，和合唱团团员。她们
为了这次演出，每周坚持排练，希望把最美最佳的舞蹈呈现给大家，她们做到了！

下半场在中院成人健身舞蹈班带来的“摇晃曼波”中开始了。舞蹈编排是林俊贤先生和梁晓燕
女士，舞者是中院成人健身舞蹈班的学员，为了演出，他们每周两次排练，虽然都不年轻了个
别已有七十岁，但是舞台上舞步统一，服装协调，那份自信从容让人从心里为她们暗暗喝彩，
这同时要感谢幕后组织者刘志仁女士和蔡惠慈女士的心血。原中文学院太极班老师于彦哲表演
的太极剑舒展飘逸，大家风范，为我们展现了中国文化的博大精深。胡诩杰先生为我们献上了
他的独唱曲目：夜之韵。这是歌剧魅影中的经典名曲。他用他的天籁之声为我们展现了夜晚的
宁静和灵动。中文学院合唱团的老朋友意大利合唱团也来为本次演出助兴。他们带来了三首欢
乐明快的歌曲“Tic Ti Ta”, “Bella Bimba”, 和“Funiculi Funicula”。欢快的旋律让观众不
由自主地随着他们的旋律轻轻摆动。最后还是缅省中文学院合唱团压轴演出。缅省中文学院合
唱团女生们演唱了歌剧“水仙女”中的“月亮颂”。 这是一首旋律优美、动人心弦的歌曲。
她们的演唱为我们带来了一种深切绵远的感怀， 打动了所有观众的心。他们还带来了“长白山
上几多愁”和“出赛曲”。出色的唱功把这两首歌曲演绎的丝丝入扣，这里也要感谢中院合唱
团的指挥刘玲玲女士每周练唱课对团员们的悉心技术指导。

晚会在所有演员，义工的歌声“友谊地久天长”中结束了。最后由胡诩杰先生致谢词。胡诩杰
先生带领下的合唱团团员的汗水和心血，均在盛大音乐会的演出成功中得到了充分体现.

为了把这次晚会搞好，中院理事会，校委会，晚会生产队成员和义工们，都为本次盛会的召开
做出了大量的贡献，奉献了自己的时间精力。数月来，晚会筹备委员会把工作具体到每一个细
节，如海报设计，音乐会票设计，舞台设计，布景的主题文字选择，门票销售，商家赞助，生
产义工队分工，前台招待，茶点招待，音响和摄影，均事无具细。合唱团员们加班加点的排
练，舞者们一遍又一遍的练习，义工们的自愿投入和不计得失，等等等等，让人感动，心怀感
恩。在此中院理事会向大家表示深深地感谢，大家辛苦了！让我们共同庆祝缅省中文学院四十
周年的辉煌，共同期待中文学院的更加壮大，共同憧憬中文学院的美好未来！

Celebrating Christmas with Seniors at Sek On Toi Senior Home

The annual Christmas Concert at the Sek Terence Wu (Choir Director)
On Toi Senior Home in Chinatown on 团长胡詡傑
December 8th was an afternoon full of fun
and joy. On behalf of Manitoba Academy of
Chinese Studies, I like to thank the MACS
Choir members for their tremendous effort
to make the concert a joyful and memorable
experience for the residents at the Sek On
Toi Senior home. It is indeed an equally
memorable experience for us as well.

I hope the choir’s wonderful performance and the joyful celebration with the seniors will
set the tone and the mood for the New Year and the upcoming Echo of Spring Concert on
May25th.
The Sek On Toi Christmas concert has been a tradition of the MACS Choir for over 30 years.
It is the way we like to reach out to the senior folks in Chinatown and share the joy and
celebration with them through music and dance during the holiday season.
Special thanks to Young’s trading Company for their generous donations to all the seniors
at Sek On Toi. Thanks also to the choir members and the friends of our Academy for their
donations of gifts and kindness.
After some photo taking with the Santa Claus, the concert kicked off at 2 p.m. with a
wonderful Taiji Sword performance by our choir member Xinping Zhang. The MACS Choir
then stepped in to entertain the audience with a program of choir songs which included:
“Dance of Youth”, “The Moon”, Silent Night”, “Do You Hear What I hear”, “The Hawthorn
Tree” and “Ga’Olitai”. Our conductor Lingling Liu and myself were also pleased to perform
solos with Lingling’s charming soprano singing in the Russian folk song “Xiaolu Variations”
and my rendition of Stephen Adams’ “The Holy City”. During the concert, the seniors were
delighted to share some Christmas carol sing-along with us. While the tune of “Jingle Bell”
is filling the hall, our Santa Claus came out again with gifts for all the seniors with the help of
our choir members. The afternoon concert finished at about 3:30 p.m. amidst smiles, cheers
and greetings.

The Santa Claus this year was played by Mr. Yueshu Li. Mr. Li is one of the MACS executives
who, together with Cora, our Academy's President and other executives, have been the main
force in ensuring the Academy is moving on in harmony and operating successfully. The other
MACS executives who are also in our choir are Angela (my wife) and Harriette.

每年一度的石安台老人院圣诞庆祝演唱，十二月八号下午在充满欢乐的气氛中度过。我谨代表
缅省中文学院感谢中院合唱团团员为石安台老人院演出付出的努力，老人们和我们都留下了美
好的回忆。我希望中院合唱团精彩的表演和充满节日气氛的聚会带领我们步入 2014 年，在 5
月 25 日成功举办“春之共鸣”音乐会。
石安台圣诞音乐聚会是中院合唱团的一个传统节目，历时近三十年。我们值此机会与老人们在
歌舞欢声中共同享受圣诞假期。特别感谢加华超级市场的慷慨捐赠！谢谢合唱团各位团员和中
文学院的朋友们送给老人的礼物。我代表老人们向你们的热心致谢。
随着老人和团员与圣诞老人拍照之后，演唱聚会在两点钟开始。首先由团员张心平表演精彩的
太极剑。然后中院合唱团为观 众演出合唱歌曲，包括：“青春舞曲”,“月光”，“平安夜”
， “Do You Hear What I hear”，“山楂树”和 “嘎噢丽泰”。 为了增添气氛，我们的指
挥刘玲玲以她专业的女高音演唱了优美迷人的由胡旺江改编的俄罗斯现代民歌“小路变奏曲”
。而我也为观众独唱了斯蒂芬亚当斯的“圣城”。节目中也穿插圣诞颂歌与老人一起欢唱。在
圣诞歌 “Jingle Bell”的旋律下，圣诞老人再次出现派赠由乐团团员，朋友和加华超市赞助捐
出的礼物给老人院的老人们。下午三点半，演唱会在欢乐的笑声和祝福中结束。
今年的圣诞老人是由中院理事会的李月树先生扮演。李先生和我们的理事长 Cora, 和其余的理
事是中院运作和发展的主要动力。 我们合唱团里的团员 Angela 和 Harriette 也是其中的两位
理事。
