Over the last fteen years, Sula has established itself as a pioneer
and leader in the Indian wine industry, with milestones across its
winemaking, tourism and business ventures. Since the sale of its
rst bottle of wine in 1999, Sula has made a mark in the Indian
wine industry as a pioneer and innovator par excellence!
Join us on this journey as we continue to go beyond!
In 1999, Rajeev Samant established Sula Vineyards, Nashik's rst
winery and paved the way for the emergence of India's Wine
Capital, with almost 35 other wineries following suit in the region
over the next decade & symbolized the rich, Indian heritage of his
wines. This waswine that took pride in being Indian, being the
rst company in the country to use an Indian logo.
Spread over a total of over 3000 acres, Sula's owned and contract-
ed vineyards are home to some of India's nest grapes and the
site of the latest in viticulture innovation and technology.
Our farmers are partners in our journey to produce excellent
wines and we work hand-in-hand to secure their supply, provide
on-ground training and support, and share the latest in sustain-
able winegrowing practices.
The Sula Story
Sula Vineyards is India’s leading premium wine producer, and
commands a majority market share across the country. In 1999,
CEO and Founder, Rajeev Samant, started Sula Vineyards, with
the goal of bringing quality wine to India.
Sula’s estate vineyards are located in the idyllic settings of
Nashik in northern Maharashtra, approximately three hours
away from Mumbai. Apart from revolutionizing the wine
industry in India, Sula’s major contribution was to place Nashik
Valley as a premium wine producing region, on the world wine
map as one of Asia’s major wine producing and tourism
regions.
Today, Nashik is known as ‘The Cradle of Indian Wine’ with 80%
of India’s wine produced here, as many others followed
Samant’s path.
Sula is a true pioneer in Indian wines and is India’s No. 1 Quality
Winery.

alchemy of the Solera Vat. Aged in three di erent types of casks:
sherry, traditional bourbon and new oak, the whisky is mellowed in
our unique Solera Vat, a large oak tun inspired by the sherry
bodegas of Spain and Portugal. Never emptied, and kept half full of
whiskies since 1998, Solera Vat is the culmination of curious minds
and the pioneering spirit of the family. It’s also the secret behind this
whisky becoming the rst 15 year old expression to enter the top
ten bestselling malts.

Glen ddich 21 YO
Patiently matured for 21 years on-site at the distillery, it is an
exquisite, traditional Speyside whisky, rich and ripe with our
Glen ddich signature notes. But rather than bottle it, as other
distillers would, the Glen ddich Malt Master, Brian Kinsman, hand
picks selected barrels and adds a sublime nishing touch. By
nishing our 21 Year Old in Caribbean rum casks it awakens the
liquid, rousing it with extra exotic notes of ginger, g, lime and
banana and a vibrant spicy to ee warmth, elevating it from
something great to something extraordinary.

SINGLE MALTS
The Balvenie Double Wood 12 YO
Scotland
The Balvenie DoubleWood 12 year old single malt whisky gains
its distinctive character from being matured in two wood types:
rst traditional whisky casks, namely twelve years in American
Oak ex-Bourbon barrels, followed by an additional nine months
in ex-Oloroso Sherry Casks. The whisky is then transferred to
large oak vessels called “tuns” for 3-4 months to allow the
whiskies to “marry”. The resulting whisky has aromas of sweet
fruit and Oloroso sherry notes, layered with honey and vanilla.
The palate is nutty, with cinnamon spiciness and a delicate layer
of sherry.
