FRANK MILLS FOOTBALL COMPLETE FANTASY FOOTBALL DRAFT GUIDE

FRANK MILLS FOOTBALL COMPLETE FANTASY FOOTBALL DRAFT GUIDE

DEFENSE / SPECIAL TEAMS

by Buddy Andrade @FrankMillsBuddy

San Francisco 49ers: Bye Week 11

Why to draft? Solid starters across the board with good depth to fill in case of injuries. They
should get to the quarterback and be solid against the run.

Why not to draft? They have got returners but none that are gamebreakers.

Baltimore Ravens: Bye Week 8

Why to draft? They will punch teams in the mouth. A physical and aggressive pedigree.
Sam Koch (P) and Justin Tucker (PK) are two of the best in the league. Strong up the middle.

Why not to draft? They will blitz more than occasionally, which could leave them prey to a power
passing offense.

Buffalo Bills: Bye Week 11

Why to draft? Back seven is strong and quick. The presence of Josh Norman will add
confidence and experience. They will be stingy on points allowed. Good kicking game.

handle close game situations. Need a stronger red zone presence.

kicking game.

.

Pittsburgh Steelers: Bye Week 8

which will keep them fresher. Kicking game is top tier with Chris Boswell converted on 29 of 30

Bouye are solid. Finished #1 in red zone defense last season. Special teams are solid with

4 scheme?

Why to draft? Strong up front. Edge rusher Vic Beasley will add to pass rush. Vrabel will help
mold into a better unit. Solid kicking game on special teams with depth at the returner spot.

talent. They will get to the quarterback.

Why not to draft? Do not turn the ball over. Give up large portions of yardage per play.

New Orleans Saints: Bye Week 6

Why to draft? Strong defensive front will neutralize the run. Saints were +17 in turnover ratio in
2019. Good returners on special teams.

Why not to draft? Secondary gives up lots of yards via the pass. Bottom tier in red zone defense
last season.

Indianapolis Colts: Bye Week 7

Why to draft? Strong in the red zone. Defensive line shows quickness and should create
pressure on quarterbacks. Good special teams coaching with strong returners.

Why not to draft? Secondary gives up long range yardage and potential to turn into touchdowns.

Bradley will schematically get them to the quarterback.

Chris Harris Jr. invigorate a struggling secondary? Weak return game. Kickers hit on 76% of
field goals last season.

middle of the field covers. They should succeed in 4-3.

Why not to draft? Bottom tier in red zone defense last season. Lack of game breaking returner.
Have trouble creating turnovers.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Bye Week 13

Why to draft? Shaquil Barrett can control a game from the edge. They will turn the ball over less
with the change at quarterback. Solid front seven. Top tier red zone defense last season.

Why not to draft? Kicking game has question marks. Several returners but none that are threats.

Jacksonville Jaguars: Bye Week 7

Why to draft? Solid linebacker core should help the middle of the field in a 4-3 set. Special
teams are solid with game changing potential.

Why not to draft? Can young pieces via the draft contribute in 2020? Can they improve on
middle of pack red zone defense from last season?

Kansas City Chiefs: Bye Week 10

Why to draft? Great pass rush. Well Coached. Game breaker in return game. Solid place kicker

Why not to draft? They can allow teams to extend drives via the middle of the field. Tendency to
yield long pass plays. Complacency.

Seattle Seahawks: Bye Week 6

Why to draft? They create turnovers and a strong line will create pressure up front. Special
teams have game breaking potential.

Why not to draft? Need to get stronger in the red zone. Secondary needs work. Lack of long-
range place kicker.

L.A Rams: Bye Week 9

Why to draft? Lineman Aaron Donald. He makes everyone around him a better player. Jalen
Ramsey will anchor the secondary.

Why not to draft? Teams will score if in the red zone! Ranked #29 in 2019. Solid kicking game.
Rams lack a game changer on the return team.

Philadelphia Eagles: Bye Week 9

Why to draft? Coordinator Jim Schwartz will have a team playing with passion. Solid front with
standout Darius Slay. Miles Sanders a threat to take one to the house as a returner.

Why not to draft? Lack of depth and have trouble against vertical passing teams.

Washington Redskins: Bye Week 8

Why to draft? Two Words! Chase Young, who will shine in Jack Del Rio’s scheme

Why not to draft? Work in progress in the red zone. Long range defense in bottom tier. No game
changers in the return game.

Atlanta Falcons: Bye Week 10

Why to draft? Talent on the edge and interior. They can wreak havoc in the backfield. Solid
kicking and talent at the returner position

Why not to draft? They do not force many turnovers. Can be beaten by a vertical offense.

Cincinnati Bengals: Bye Week 9

Why to draft? More than adequate edge presence. Special teams have good long-range kicking
games and several threats in the return core.

Why not to draft? Give up big plays. With an offense that may struggle, lack of depth on defense
could rear its ugly head.

Arizona Cardinals: Bye Week 8

Why to draft? Linebackers are solid and the line will neutralize the run. Special teams present a
solid return game with depth.

Why not to draft? Young secondary needs work. Can Cardinals have success in a 3-4 base?
Bottom tier in the red zone last season.

Las Vegas Raiders: Bye Week 6

Why to draft? Talent on the front line and on the edge. Return game has the potential to do
some damage.

Why not to draft? Ranked #31 in red zone defense last season. Lack of depth in secondary.
Have trouble defending the deep ball.

Why to draft? Cowboys have playmakers up front and in the secondary. They will tackle the ball
more. Top tier in the red zone in 2019. Good return game with rookie CeeDee Lamb in the mix.

Why not to draft? Tendency to not play 60 minutes of football. Schematically revert to a prevent
approach.

Miami Dolphins: Bye Week 6

Why to draft? Coordinator Josh Boyer a Belichick offspring. The additions of Kyle Van Noy (LB)
and Shaq Lawson (DE) will help instill a winning culture.

Why not to draft? Youth and lack of experience will be noticeable early on. Keep an eye on this
unit in the second half.

Carolina Panthers: Bye Week 13

Why to draft? Talent at linebacker and tackle will force some pressure. Coordinator Phil Snow
will coach turnover as part of his scheme.

Why not to draft? A work in progress as a unit. They will experience more lows than highs. Lack
of a game changer on the return unit.

Detroit Lions: Bye Week 5

Why to draft? Good young talent that can produce immediately. Solid at edge and linebackers.
Solid at placekicker with Matt Prater.

Why not to draft? Trouble turning the ball over. The belief in HC Matt Patricia. Teams can go
long on them with success.

Green Bay Packers: Bye Week 5

Why to draft? Defense will be simplified. Secondary will accumulate most of the tackles.
Packers will generate a decent pass rush.

Why not to draft? High percentage of long-range scores in 2019. Unit needs to adapt to an
identity.

N.Y Jets: Bye Week 11

Why to draft? Secondary is top notch led by Jamaal Adams (S). With coordinator Gregg
Williams, the Jets will have success at stopping the run.

Why not to draft? Jets have trouble winning the field position battle. Coaching staff starting with
Adam Gase is potentially on borrowed time.

Houston Texans: Bye Week 8

Why to draft? Strong edge presence can make it miserable for an opposing offense. Solid
kicking game with a talented return unit.

Why not to draft? Ranked dead last in red zone defense last season. The long-term health of JJ
Watt. Have trouble forcing turnovers.

N.Y Giants: Bye Week 11

Why to draft? Depth at the returner position on special teams. Talent at edge and linebacker
has potential to create pressure.

Why not to draft? Have trouble creating turnovers. Lack of overall depth. Weak against a vertical
offense

EDGE / DEFENSIVE TACKLES

by Buddy Andrade, @FrankMillsBuddy

Myles Garrett-Browns: Bye Week 9

Why to draft? He is the most complete DE in the league. Sacks, Pressures, double teams, hits
on Quarterbacks and TFL (Tackles for Loss).

Why not to draft? Will teams scheme even more on Garrett with chips and double teams?

Nick Bosa-49ers: Bye Week 11

Why to draft? Entering only his 2nd season, this 4-3 DE brings the heat and makes the whole
DL better. Look for more in the IDP scoring plays like TFL and Sacks.

Why not to draft? He set the bar too high and could not jump it.

Aaron Donald-Rams: Bye Week 9

Why to draft? Double or triple teams do not matter with Donald. He provides inside pressure
resulting in Sacks, TFL and collapses the pocket like no one else.

Why not to draft? You favor outside guys and do not like to roll the dice on inside rushers.

Khalil Mack-Bears: Bye Week 11

Why to draft? 3-4 LB who specializes in impact plays in the backfield. He gets to the QB,
creates double teams or chip blocks, and could TFL vs run game. The addition of Robert Quinn
and the health of Akeem Hicks should improve numbers.

Why not to draft? Do the two players mentioned take away from some of his numbers?

Joey Bosa-Chargers: Bye Week 10

Why to draft? 3-4 DE who has a well-rounded game and never comes off the field. Bosa should
benefit from the big additions inside that require double teams.

Why not to draft? You would rather draft a true EDGE player than a 3-4 DE because of the
ability to do more in the defense.

T.J Watt-Steelers: Bye Week 8

Why to draft? 3-4OLB who has become an impact from the EDGE vs the run and pass. The
defense is set up well for a sack a game average in 2020.

Why not to draft? Are teams going to game plan more to take him out of impact plays.

Yannick Ngakoue-Jaguars: Bye Week 7

Why to draft? As of now he is a Jaguar, I cannot promise that is something that lasts until Week
17. He is a pass rush guy, who gets to the QB and is helped by some Allen and Chiasson on
board.

Why not to draft? It has been a cat and mouse game with ownership. Does he even show up
for camp and they refuse to trade him? Keep an eye on this situation.

Chandler Jones-Cardinals: Bye Week 8

Why to draft? Jones is a guy you draft for the Sack and Pressures. He is not much of a run
game player, so your production is all QB pressure related. The defense has also added some
pieces to help free him up.

Why not to draft? Does the talent around Jones take away some of his sack numbers?

Von Miller-Broncos: Bye Week 8

Why to draft? Still an impact 3-4 OLB as a pass rusher and run defender. Good pick in Sack or
TFL heavy leagues.

Why not to draft? Is age going to finally catch up and does that hurt production? How does he
bounce back from Covid?

Melvin Ingram-Chargers: Bye Week 10

Why to draft? 3-4 OLB who takes advantage of having a talent like Bosa on the other side or
right near him. Solid pick in all IDP formats.

Why not to draft? Although Derwin James does not play the same position, he is a chess piece
player who could cut into numbers with his 2020 return.

Chase Young-Redskins: Bye Week 8

Why to draft? I personally believe he is the best of the 3 EDGE players to come out of OSU in
recent memory. His drafting slots guys properly in a 4-3 Defense for the Ron Rivera defense
and his all-around numbers should be good from the start.

Why not to draft? You need to see him play before grabbing him in IDP

Chris Jones-Chiefs: Bye Week 10

Why to draft? He is an impact player at DT in every way, on all 3 downs. He provides great
interior push with Sack production and stuffs the run.

Why not to draft? The only worry I would have, does getting paid impacts his effort

Za’Darius Smith-Packers: Bye Week 5

Why to draft? Smith showed his worth after getting his chance in GB as a full-time player. His
production numbers are off the charts in both Pass rush and Run statistics.

Why not to draft? Did the NFL get some film on how to double team or negate the pass rush to
game plan properly?

Danielle Hunter-Vikings: Bye Week 7

Why to draft? All around 4-3 DE who will give you Sacks, QB hits Pressures and run game
production.

Why not to draft? Everson Griffen is gone from the Vikings; how does that impact Hunter as an
Edge player if no one steps up on the other side.

Cam Jordan-Saints: Bye Week 6

Why to draft? It does not matter the type of Defense the Saints run; this guy produces wherever
he is lined up. He contributes in Pass Rush and in the run game.

Why not to draft? Do other rushers like Zack Baun start to take away some of the numbers with
their production.

Josh Allen-Jaguars: Bye Week 7

Why to draft? Allen comes with Front seven versatility and can do anything a Defensive
coordinator needs him to do on the field. He should rush the passer more with Campbell gone
and a potential Ngakoue trade.

Why not to draft? He might play more OLB in a scheme yet TBD. His location or game planning
in the defense will have some impact on production.

Calais Campbell-Ravens: Bye Week 8

Why to draft? Still one of the best football players in the league despite position. He is an ideal
fit as a 3-4 DE, who will get interior pressure and defend the run. The Ravens stole Campbell
and he is ready to put up another big season.

Why not to draft? Is father time catching up with Campbell and the Jaguars were first to see
this?

Frank Clark-Chiefs: Bye Week 10

Why to draft? Clark is a guy who you can pencil in for double digit sacks and productions
against the run. Clark and Jones skill sets, and positions play well off each other.

Why not to draft? Do teams do more to scheme Clark after a season in the system?

Bradley Chubb-Broncos: Bye Week 8

Why to draft? Solid rusher who does not get many double teams because of the presence of
Miller on the other side. The adding of Jurrell Casey in the middle should even help with more
one on ones.

Why not to draft? How does he return from ACL injury in 2020, it is usually the 2nd year that
produces an explosion?

Shaq Barrett-Buccaneers: Bye Week 13

Why to draft? He got his chance in 2019 and shined. He brings a good Pass rush with QB hits
and pressures. The supporting cast returns along with the addition of Winfield to the secondary.

Why not to draft? Like others, is there film and a new game plan to slow him down in 2020 after
what he brought in 2019.

Fletcher Cox-Eagles: Bye Week 9

Why to draft? Cox is a 3 down interior force. He gets pressure, QB Hits and cannot be run on
by an offense.

Why not to draft? He does put up numbers, but he may be a better football player than fantasy
option.

Akeem Hicks-Bears: Bye Week 11

Why to draft? Hicks is a guy who needs to be double teamed but gets singles because of the
talent on the EDGE. He is a 3 down contributor and still flies under the radar.

Why not to draft? How does he bounce back from injuries?

Montez Sweat-Redskins: Bye Week 8

Why to draft? Ascending player who will now play in a 4-3 with some talent up front including
Chase Young. Long and Athletics, he will be a contributor against the run and pass.

Why not to draft? Will he be splitting time with Ryan Kerrigan?

Maxx Crosby-Raiders: Bye Week 6

Why to draft? Crosby already has a double-digit sack season as a rookie while also contributing
Tackles against the run game. The talent on the Raiders defense has improved which could
keep Crosby freed up.

Why not to draft? Teams are going to game plan more for Crosby in his 2nd season.

Trey Flowers-Lions: Bye Week 5

Why to draft? Solid player who once had nightmares about not “setting the edge”. He is a 3
down player who wins with a good pass rush plan and stuffs the run.

Why not to draft? Patricia is famous for not setting guys free, which could hold Flowers numbers
down compared to his skill.

Kyle Van Noy-Dolphins: Bye Week 11

Why to draft? Van Noy is reunited with Flores and will be used all around the defense. He is a
starter on the EDGE but is not only used in pass rush but in coverage and against the run.

Why not to draft? Does his ability to do-it-all a LB level decrease his value in leagues geared
towards Sacks.

Ed Oliver-Bills: Bye Week 11

Why to draft? Ideal 3-technique DT who does a great job of producing inside pressure. His 2nd
year leap should include more impact plays in the backfield.

Why not to draft? Oliver had an off-season arrest that could come with some suspension time.
The Bills run a tough ship, does this impact some of his playing time.

Shaq Lawson-Dolphins: Bye Week 11

Why to draft? Lawson is a player who has gotten better, despite not being a 3-down player. He
will get his chance to live up to his 1st round pick status with Flores unleashing him more in the
pass rush.

Why not to draft? He played well for a contract, does the effort continue to be a driving force.

Justin Houston-Colts: Bye Week 7

Why to draft? Houston had a stellar season in 2019 switching to 4-3 DE from 3-4 OLB in KC.
He is a guy you can count on for Pass rush.

Why not to draft? Do not look for a lot of Tackle numbers on top of the Sacks.

Bud Dupree-Steelers: Bye Week 8

Why to draft? He saw a huge spike in numbers in 2019. He could continue to put up solid
numbers with single teams as teams focus on TJ Watt.

Why not to draft? His numbers took a huge jump in a contract year and now he is on the
franchise tag in 2020. Does he remain hungry with Alex Highsmith on board?

Dante Fowler JR-Falcons: Bye Week 10

Why to draft? He is a straight pass rush player looking to get to the QB. A good pick in a Sack
heavy IDP league.

Why not to draft? He is a non-factor against the run.

Dee Ford-49ers: Bye Week 11

Why to draft? EDGE player who is used more in passing downs and his role is to get the QB.
He benefits from playing with a talented front and getting one on one blocking.

Why not to draft? His snap count is one to watch, how does he fit in base defense.

Carlos Dunlap-Bengals: Bye Week 9

Why to draft? Consistent numbers in Sacks and Passes Defensed (Yes, it is true). Heady
player who gets his hands up at the line if the pass rush is not getting to the QB.

Why not to draft? New faces could take away some contributions from the long time Bengal.
The defensive front seven got much better.

Adam Butler-Patriots: Bye Week 6

Why to draft? Sub-Package rusher who can provide one on one Pressure or with stunts along
with outside rushers. Butler is a guy who could rack up double digit Sacks soon.

Why not to draft? He is best at his sub-package role; you may not get a lot of run game
production.

Leonard Williams-Giants: Bye Week 11

Why to draft? A mid-season change of scenery is exactly what Williams needed in 2019. He is
in a system that more fits his skillset and his production should be even higher with knowledge
of that system.

Why not to draft? Does the new coaching staff use him more to eat up blockers rather than
rush?

Chase Winovich-Patriots: Bye Week 6

Why to draft? His sub-package role from his rookie year becomes more snaps in 2020. Snap to
whistle he is hustling and has his former college teammate Josh Uche on the other side.

Why not to draft? How does he perform in a role that asks him to do more in the run game?

Matt Judon-Ravens: Bye Week 8

Why to draft? The additions of Calais Campbell and Derek Wolfe should free up Judon for more
impact plays. Judon should see double digit sacks and more TFL.

Why not to draft? Could the players listed also take away from some of the production as pass
rushers?

Josh Uche-Patriots: Bye Week 6

Why to draft? Ideal fit for a player as his defensive coordinator and he have been watching film
on the Pats to find roles for him. He should step in and be a 3-down player in the mold of Kyle
Van Noy come season start.

Why not to draft? The potential is there but is he only a pass rusher to start his career as he
earns Belichick trust.

Derek Barnett-Eagles: Bye Week 9

Why to draft? Solid starting 4-3 DE who can contribute on all downs and rush from anywhere.

Why not to draft? Has Barnett peaked out in his sack totals because of the continuous rotation
of other players along the front?

A.J Epenesa-Bills: Bye Week 11

Why to draft? Rookie 4-3 DE, who can also kick inside on passing downs to find favorable
matchups. Big, Long, and athletic along the DL.

Why not to draft? The Bills might really rotate in the defensive front because of the talent.

Lawrence Guy-Patriots: Bye Week 6

Why to draft? Base Defense DL who contributes heavily in the run game for tackles and
surprises with some pass rush.

Why not to draft? More of a Tackle than Sack guy.

Leonard Floyd-Rams: Bye Week 9

Why to draft? He leaves a situation with an Elite OLB on the other side to a situation he has the
best Interior DL in the game on his team. Floyd will be more unleashed in the Rams defense as
he and Terrell Lewis look to fill that OLB void.

Why not to draft? Will his numbers increase when he did not take advantage of one on one
blocking the last couple of seasons?

Terrell Lewis-Rams: Bye Week 9

Why to draft? Lewis is a rookie who should step right in and contribute on all 3 downs for the
Rams. He will provide good rookie numbers across the board and feed off Aaron Donald.

Why not to draft? Does he have enough pass rush early on to win against veteran OL.

Jeffrey Simmons-Titans: Bye Week 7

Why to draft? This is my biggest fantasy DL sleeper. He is a 3 down guy who plays with great
power and fills stats across the board. This is the reason Jurrell Casey was traded.

Why not to draft? Will Mike Vrabel use him like Richard Seymour was used or unleash him?

Quinnen Williams-Jets: Bye Week 11

Why to draft? Solid fit as a 3-4 DE. This allows him to penetrate to get into the backfield to
make impact plays against the run and pass. Look for a spike in production by snap totals.

Why not to draft? He had an off the field issue that might have a suspension linked to that
transgression.

Sam Hubbard-Bengals: Bye Week 9

Why to draft? Personally, I think this is the year Hubbard makes the leap. He has a great motor
and contributes across the stat sheet. Look for a spike with the addition of Reader and young
Linebackers.

Why not to draft? The Bengals offense will be much better which could bring down snap counts
and possible production opportunities.

DeForest Buckner-Colts: Bye Week 7

Why to draft? Tall DT who should contribute well as a 3 technique DT, allowing him to shoot the
gap and make plays in the backfield. A top of the 1st round pick then huge contract are telling
us the Colts expect a lot and will scheme for it.

Why not draft? He goes from being one of the guys to the guy in Indy. He will be the focal point
of blocking schemes and offensive game plans along the DL.

DeMarcus Lawrence-Cowboys: Bye Week 10

Why to draft? We should see a resurgence in Sack numbers as the big DT tandem of Poe and
McCoy are in to take on the run responsibilities.

Why not to draft? His Sack numbers have decreased in the last two seasons. They have also
added at the position.

Grady Jarrett-Falcons: Bye Week 10

Why to draft? The Falcons really invested heavily in a Defensive front that needed an upgrade.
Jarrett was not the reason that was needed, he was the stud of the group the whole time.
Adding Davidson and Fowler to the pass rush provides more one on one production.

Why not to draft? Davidson and Fowler take away some of the Sack and QB pressure numbers.

Marlon Davidson-Falcons: Bye Week 10

Why to draft? He will come right in and be a 3-down player in multiple roles. Davidson should
be on the EDGE in base defense and then kick inside in sub-package Defenses.

Why not to draft? Do you take a chance of a player who will have a lot of his place in his rookie
year?

OFF THE BALL LINEBACKER PROFILES

by Buddy Andrade, @FrankMillsBuddy

Darius Leonard-Colts: Bye Week 7

Why to draft? Leonard will stack up numbers across the stat sheet. The addition of Buckner
and Day at DT frees him up to roam and make more plays.

Why not to draft? Will offenses finally scheme Leonard to bring down some of his production.

Roquan Smith-Bears: Bye Week 11

Why to draft? 3-4 ILB who makes impact plays even when taking on blockers. He should fill up
on Tackles and help contribute in pass coverage or as a blitzer.

Why not to draft? How does he bounce back from injury? Is it a scheme thing that brings these
numbers?

Cory Littleton-Raiders: Bye Week 6

Why to draft? 4-3 MLB who plays all 3 downs. Many consider him the best coverage LB in the
league, pair this with his Tackle numbers and you have got a top LB.

Why not to draft? Does moving away from Aaron Donald have a negative impact on numbers on
a new team.

Bobby Wagner-Seahawks: Bye Week 6

Why to draft? Five time All-Pro who does not appear to be slowing down heading into his 9th
year. He will rack up big Tackle numbers along with impact on turnovers and blitzing.

Why not to draft? Do others step up to take away some of the eye-popping numbers?

Devin Bush-Steelers: Bye Week 8

Why to draft? 3-4 ILB with the ability to fill the whole stat sheet. He will rack up Tackles and
contribute some turnovers.

Why not to draft? Will he ever become another of the great ILB blitzers for the Steelers?

Devin White-Buccaneers: Bye Week 13

Why to draft? The front returns that stopped the run at a high level and allowed White along with
Lavonte David to rack up tackles. White should make the 2nd year jump and make more impact
plays in the pass game.

Why not to draft? David is still present to take away from a huge spike in numbers. They are a
good 1-2 tandem.

Demario Davis- Saints: Bye Week 6

Why to draft? 4-3 Weakside LB who racks up the Tackles and contributes with impact and
turnover type plays. The type of player you draft because he is always around the ball.

Why not to draft? Does the return of Alex Anzalone cut into some of the production?

Jordan Hicks-Cardinals: Bye Week 8

Why to draft? He racked up big numbers in his first season in Arizona and now has more help to
take up blockers up front.

Why not to draft? The LB level has made a huge leap forward in talent, this could bring down
the tackle numbers.

Jaylon Smith-Cowboys: Bye Week 10

Why to draft? Smith is a guy that you draft for his Tackles production alone and hope for more
numbers in other categories.

Why not to draft? He does not fill the sheet across the board, he is still looking for INT
production.

Lavonte David-Buccaneers: Bye Week 13

Why to draft? Tackle machine who contributes on 3 downs and helps in pass coverage. His
play speed is off the charts to always be in the play.

Why not to draft? Does Devin White take away some of his numbers at the LB level?

Deion Jones-Falcons: Bye Week 10

Why to draft? His production is that of a 3-down stud LB who contributes in the run game, man,
and zone coverage. Tackle numbers are high, and he seems to have a nose for the End zone
on his INT.

Why not to draft? Could healthy Safeties playing up in the box cut into tackle numbers?

Joe Schobert-Jaguars: Bye Week 7

Why to draft? ILB who improved his numbers across the sheet including a huge boost in pass
coverage plays. He and Myles Jack should form a good duo at the second level for the Jags.

Why not to draft? Could offenses test the new outside CB early on which impacts some of the
numbers.

Eric Kendricks-Vikings: Bye Week 7

Why to draft? All-Pro LB who plays 3 downs, contributing in Run and Pass Defense. He is
going to rack up points across the sheet including Pass defenses and TFL.

Why not to draft? Will his numbers take a hit with Linval Joseph not taking up double-teams up
front to ease things for Kendricks?

Shaq Thompson-Panthers; Bye Week 13

Why to draft? Thompson should have a jump in production with the retirement of Luke Kuechly.
He will rack up the Tackles and should make more plays in coverage as he hits his stride.

Why not to draft? Do not look for Kuechly numbers, more of an in between of 2019 and Kuechly
numbers.

Rashaan Evans-Titans: Bye Week 7

Why to draft? Evans enters his 3rd season with the Titans and improves upon his Tackle
numbers and increases his pass down numbers.

Why not to draft? Is Evans a player best used playing downhill? Will it always be Tackle
numbers that define his IDP value?

Myles Jack-Jaguars: Bye Week 7

Why to draft? 2018 healthy Jack is an impact LB across the stat sheet. He plays in both base
and sub defense with the ability to make game changing plays.

Why not to draft? Does Jack return to form from injuries?

Isaiah Simmons-Cardinals: Bye Week 8

Why to draft? Rookie chess piece player who should contribute from day one across the stat
sheet. He will play some LB and has the athleticism to play S. He should not come off the field.

Why not to draft? How does his versatility play in the NFL? Can he jump right in and fill multiple
roles with his great athleticism?

Fred Warner-49ers: Bye Week 11

Why to draft? Warner is on the rise with the ability to make Tackles, force fumbles, defend in the
pass game and fill a stat sheet.

Why not to draft? Dre Greenlaw should make a 2nd year jump and how does Kwon Alexander
fit in?

Christian Kirksey-Packers: Bye Week 5

Why to draft? He goes to a situation in Green Bay where the last thing people saw was the D
getting gashed between the tackles in the run game. He will get an opportunity to rack up some
tackles in this scenario and contribute on pass downs.

Why not to draft? Kirksey has played in 9 games over the last 2 seasons.

Kenneth Murray-Chargers: Bye Week 10

Why to draft? Rookie ILB who should come in with the freedom to roam because of a solid DL in
front of him and the return of Derwin James.

Why not to draft? There are only so many bites at the apple. He is got a lot of players to
compete with for other numbers.

Patrick Queen-Ravens: Bye Week 8

Why to draft? Athletic Rookie who will play behind a line that can eat up blocks to set him free.

Why not to draft? There is a lot of talent on the Ravens Defense to take up production.

Dont’a Hightower-Patriots: Bye Week 6

Why to draft? Hightower is a guy who moves around in the Patriots defense and is at his best
when the lights are brightest. He will play inside on early downs then kick to edge rusher in
some passing situations.

Why not to draft? Health is always a worry.

Leighton Vander Esch-Cowboys: Bye Week 10

Why to draft? Just look at his rookie season numbers plus the impact he had on the field.
Paired with Jaylon Smith, they make a ton of plays at the 2nd level.

Why not to draft? Is there a lingering injury issue?

C.J Mosley-Jets: Bye Week 11

Why to draft? Mosley is at his best playing downhill and racking up Tackles. He can be part of
pass coverage more in zone.

Why not to draft? How does he bounce back from injury and is he a 2 down player?

Dre Greenlaw-49ers: Bye Week 11

Why to draft? Despite his draft pick number, Greenlaw racked up numbers across the board for
the 49ers and made Kwon Alexander expendable during the off-season.

Why not to draft? How does his production go after teams get a year of tape on Greenlaw?

Tremaine Edmunds-Bills: Bye Week 11

Why to draft? His combination of size, athleticism and production have been solid at the start of
his career and he is only ascending. He will fill the stat sheet in run and pass.

Why not to draft? Do the new additions along the DL make more Tackles in the run game and
take some of Edmunds numbers?

Blake Martinez-Giants: Bye Week 11

Why to draft? Martinez will have a change of scenery with the Giants. He brings high Tackle
numbers from the ILB position and can Blitz the QB.

Why not to draft? Do not be surprised with all the draft picks at the position, that he becomes a
2 down player.

De’Vondre Campbell-Cardinals: Bye Week 8

Why to draft? Campbell has seen his Tackle numbers go up every season, while also
contributing in the pass defense.

Why not to draft? Does Isaiah Simmons take away from sub-package snaps?

Matt Milano-Bills: Bye Week 11

Why to draft? Under the radar player who contributed over 100 tackles last season and nearly
double-digit PD. He plays in base and Nickel formations with Edmunds.

Why not to draft? Could Milano be used in more of a coverage role that causes his run Tackles
to go down?

Logan Wilson-Bengals: Bye Week 9

Why to draft? Rookie who paired with fellow Rookie Akeem Davis-Gaither are ideal fits at the
2nd level for the Bengals. He is got sideline to sideline potential and ability to contribute in pass
coverage.

Why not to draft? Do the Bengals groom Wilson slowly or let him go?

Mack Wilson-Browns: Bye Week 9

Why to draft? A real sleeper who comes into the season to improve upon his rookie numbers
with 80 plus tackles and 7 PD. He should be a 3-down player on a defense that has improved
during the off-season.

Why not to draft? Does Takitaki take away from some of the tackles, as he takes over at ILB.

Zach Cunningham-Texans: Bye Week 8

Why to draft? Cunningham is a Tackle machine, nearly racking up triple digit solo tackles. He
will contribute on all 3 downs.

Why not to draft? How do they replace a DJ Reader up front to help Cunningham?

K.J Wright-Seahawks: Bye Week 6

Why to draft? A 16-game season out of Wright= 100 Tackle season. Also add in the fact that he
does not come off the field and his contributions to the pass defense.

Why not to draft? Does he continue being a 3 down LB or is a young LB groomed to take that
role.

Nathan Gerry-Eagles: Bye Week 9

Why to draft? HIs production gets better each year with 100 tackle seasons in sight, while also
contributing some help in coverage.

Why not to draft? Does Davion Taylor impact his sub-package snaps?

Anthony Barr-Vikings: Bye Week 7

Why to draft? Barr is a guy that you do not count on with one stat each week to bank on. He will
have some Tackles, a QB hit, a PD and FF weeks that get you to a high total.

Why not to draft? Barr could be considered a better football player than fantasy prospect by
some.

Thomas Davis-Redskins: Bye Week 8

Why to draft? Reunited with Ron Rivera, where he will jump in as an MLB in a 4-3 Defense
behind a boatload of 1st round picks up front. He continues to get better with age and should
have another dominant number season.

Why not to draft? Will father time or injuries ever take down Davis?

Micah Kiser-Rams: Bye Week 9

Why to draft? Kiser is going to step from a missed season in 2019 to the guy to replace Littleton
in the middle. Kiser is a high Tackle guy who is flying well under the radar. Early down
contributor.

Why not to draft? Can a guy with 4 career tackles, coming off a torn pec, jump right in and
replace Littleton at ILB?

Jamie Collins-Lions: Bye Week 5

Why to draft? Another of the players that you do not know exactly how the points will come but
they will. Collins can rush the passer or cover and it is a week to week assignment.

Why not to draft? Does he remain hungry after getting a big contract?

Anthony Walker-Colts: Bye Week 7

Why to draft? Walker and teammate Darius Leonard have a K.J Wright-Bobby Wagner thing
going on. Walker will be on the field with Leonard at all time, while playing behind DL who can
eat up blockers and keep him free to roam.

Why not to draft? Will a position other than LB step up to take some of these numbers away?

Anthony Hitchens-Chiefs: Bye Week 10

Why to draft? LB who's best asset is his skills in the run defense game. Look for him to start the
year as a two down LB.

Why not to draft? His Tackle numbers took a deep dive with a change in formation. Willie Gay
is also breathing down his neck for the position.

Blake Cashman-Jets: Bye Week 11

Why to draft? Athletic LB who is at his best when in coverage and is an excellent blitzer. His
numbers should rise in a whole season as an ILB and sub-package LB.

Why not to draft? Needs to improve his production against the run.

Jayon Brown-Titans: Bye Week 7

Why to draft? Brown has Tackle numbers that increase each season and he contributes in sub-
package Defense as a good coverage LB.

Why not to draft? Rashaan Evans could steal even more tackles as he ascends.

Cole Holcomb-Redskins: Bye Week 8

Why to draft? Holcomb will kick to OLB with Thomas Davis on board. He is a solid all-around
LB with the ability to help vs the run and in pass coverage. Look for him to be on the field 3
downs.

Why not to draft? He is kicking to OLB in a 4-3, which will be a new experience for him.

Davion Taylor-Eagles: Bye Week 9

Why to draft? He is the ideal player to have on your fantasy roster in a league moving towards
sub-package Defenses. He should cover RB and TE. Look for a lot of PD and post catch
Tackles.

Why not to draft? He is very raw and could be more of a track star than football player to start.

David Mayo-Giants: Bye Week 11

Why to draft? Mayo is a player who is built himself up from a Special Teamer to starter at ILB.
He is a sure tackler who is best playing downhill against the run.

Why not to draft? He looks like a 2 down player with the additions.

Jarrad Davis-Lions: Bye Week 5

Why to draft? Davis with a full season of games is a 100-tackle guy and contributes in the pass
coverage game.

Why not to draft? How does he bounce back from injuries in 2019?

Nick Kwiatkoski-Raiders: Bye Week 6

Why to draft? He is a sure tackler with the ability to rack them up as a two-down OLB.

Why not to draft? How does he adjust to moving outside in a new defense?

Drue Tranquill-Chargers: Bye Week 10

Why to draft? Sleeper prospect who racked up 75 tackles in 2019 as a rookie. He is a sure
tackler and can contribute in pass coverage.

Why not to draft? He is thought by some to be splitting time with Nick Vigil which could hurt his
snap count.

Jerome Baker-Dolphins: Bye Week 11

Why to draft? Tackle machine on a poor Dolphins defense in 2019. If he keeps his snaps, he
will keep his production.
Why not to draft? He could be competing for snaps with former Patriot Elandon Roberts.

DB FANTASY PROFILES

By Buddy Andrade @FrankMillsBuddy

Derwin James-Chargers: Bye Week 10

Why to draft? James put up incredible numbers across the board as a rookie before injury
struck in 2019. He is an impact player whether playing forward, in the box or as a deep safety.

Why not to draft? You are choosing between him and Jamal Adams as the 1st DB off the board.

Jamal Adams-Seahawks: Bye Week 6

Why to draft? Great stats in the Tackles and Sacks (yes Sacks) numbers. He fills a lot in the box
against the run and again averages 4 sacks a season as a SS. I would look for additional
coverage numbers to go along with what we have seen.

Why not to draft? Not one reason as we know where he is playing in 2020. He got what he
wanted and now it is up to him to deliver for his new team.

Minkah Fitzpatrick-Steelers: Bye Week 8

Why to draft? Impact plays! INT, PD, FF, FR, DEF TD’S and then some tackles. He is just
scratching the surface of production.

Why not draft? Was 2019 just a guy trying to prove the Dolphins gave up on him way too early?

Budda Baker-Cardinals: Bye Week 8

Why to draft? Although he is still looking for his first career INT, Baker fills the rest of the stat
sheet as a S. The Cardinals will have a better pass rush so more plays on the ball with the
turnovers added are likely.

Why not to draft? They have really added on Defense, which could cut into Tackle numbers.

Justin Simmons-Broncos: Bye Week 8

Why to draft? Simmons has become a top FS, producing Tackle numbers and plays on the ball.
He is going to put up consistent numbers across the sheet as an IDP player.

Why not to draft? Does he remain the same guy after getting paid? The skill is there.

Landon Collins-Redskins: Bye Week 8

Why to draft? Collins will provide high Tackle numbers, whether playing in the box or in his SS
position. The Redskins may unleash him more on the blitz package under Rivera, a skill he
flashed in his 2nd year.

Why not to draft? Could the new system have him as more of a true S with the talent along the
front 7?

Jordan Poyer-Bills: Bye Week 11

Why to draft? Poyer is a 100 Tackle guy who fills up the stat sheet. He will bring you FF, FR,
INT, PD and is seemingly never away from the play.

Why not to draft? Could a really stacked Defense cut into his tackle numbers?

Keanu Neal-Falcons: Bye Week 10

Why to draft? Tackles combined with in the box S numbers like TFL, QB Hits and Turnovers are
the biggest part of Neal’s game.

Why not to draft? He is played 4 games in the last 2 seasons.

Tyrann Mathieu-Chiefs: Bye Week 10

Why to draft? Mathieu is a Turnover or big game changing play waiting to happen in the Chiefs
secondary. He will rack up INT with return yardage, PD, can blitz or get in the backfield against
the run.

Why not to draft? Do teams avoid going anywhere near Mathieu and it brings his number down?

Justin Reid-Texans: Bye Week 8

Why to draft? Reid is a FS who provides solid turnover numbers that should only get better. He
is a threat to score TD on Defense and treats each takeaway like that. Look for a jump in
Tackle numbers.

Why not to draft? Tackle numbers are not as high as they should be.

Micah Hyde-Bills: Bye Week 11

Why to draft? Combined with Jordan Poyer, they form the best S duo in the league. Hyde
contributes enough in each area to have consistently good weeks of production.

Why not to draft? If you are looking for flash plays and impact, you will look elsewhere.

Jonathan Abram-Raiders: Bye Week 6

Why to draft? Abram was a star on hard knocks as a guy looking to hit people. He will
contribute in the box to provide Tackle numbers and will intimidate over the middle.

Why not to draft? He is played one game in the NFL.

Juan Thornhill-Chiefs: Bye Week 10

Why to draft? Thornhill displayed great ball skills as a rookie before injury. He is a true
centerfield threat to make INT and PD.

Why not to draft? How does he bounce back from injury in 2020?

Harrison Smith-Vikings: Bye Week 7

Why to draft? Smith fills out the stat sheet as a do-it-all Safety in the Vikings defense. He can
line up in the box or take a deep half of the field. One of the surest tackles in the league.

Why not to draft? Is this the year age catches up with the veteran?

Kevin Byard-Titans: Bye Week 7

Why to draft? Byard averages just over 4 picks a season along with 9 PD, that is a ballhawk.
These numbers alone with average S production in tackles gives you numbers.

Why not to draft? Will teams finally game plan and teach QB to look off Byard in the defensive
backfield?

Eddie Jackson-Bears: Bye Week 11

Why to draft? Jackson is a ballhawk Safety who gets his nose in the play. He benefits from a
great pass rush to fill passing lanes and his instincts take over.

Why not to draft? Is not a huge contributor as a tackler.

Jabrill Peppers-Giants: Bye Week 11

Why to draft? Peppers is best playing towards the LOS and contributing Tackles against the
run. He also contributes in man coverage on TE or RB and can contribute sub package zone
defense.

Why not to draft? He will not rack up the pass defense numbers, that is not his game.

Anthony Harris-Vikings: Bye Week 7

Why to draft? Ball hawking Safety whose numbers have jumped in correlation with starts and
playing time. He is an INT and PD guy if you are looking for impact plays.

Why not to draft? Harris is not a huge Tackle number guy; you are buying in on flash.

Taylor Rapp-Rams: Bye Week 9

Why to draft? Rapp is an ascending player who racked up 100 Tackles and impact plays on the
ball. He is a true find in a Dynasty league with IDP because of his upside.

Why not to draft? How much of an impact do the changes at the LB level impact Rapp?

Von Bell-Bengals: Bye Week 9

Why to draft? Safety at his best in the box providing Tackles against the run and solid Blitz
skills. He is a guy you can have fun within sub-packages.

Why not to draft? How exactly does he fit right away with the Bengals?

Adrian Amos-Packers: Bye Week 5

Why to draft? Amos is a player who can put up numbers across the stat sheet each week.
Teams are going to challenge the Packers early with the run game, you could see an early
season surge.

Why not to draft? He is not going to wow in any one area.

Stephon Gilmore-Patriots: Bye Week 6

Why to draft? Yes, the first CB. He put a solid FS type stat line in INT, TD and PD in 2019.
Gilmore is also not afraid to stick his nose in against the run.

Why not to draft? The truth is it is hard to grab elite CB in fantasy. They usually shut down a
side of the field and are far away from the Tackle. Gilmore makes the plays when he is
randomly chosen and looks to bounce back from week 17 in 2019.

Tre’Davious White-Bills: Bye Week 11

Why to draft? Like Gilmore, White racked up solid FS numbers in INT and PD. Sure, tackler
when given the opportunity.

Why not to draft? The other CB slot is not settled in Buffalo, making White’s side of the field a
no-fly zone. It is tough to make plays when you are nowhere near the play.

Antoine Winfield JR-Buccaneers: Week 13

Why to draft? My top-rated fantasy rookie DB. Winfield is a ballhawk at Safety with the ability to
slide in the slot and cover. You are looking at impact plays with Winfield.

Why not to draft? Do the Bucs play him more in the slot than as a deep safety?

Devin McCourty-Patriots: Bye Week 6

Why to draft? The Patriots have moved McCourty from the last line of Defense into a player who
gets more opportunities to make plays as a pass defender. He is a true ballhawk and knows the
system well.

Why not to draft? With some of the old guard gone, does he go back to his old role?

Ha-Ha Clinton-Dix-Cowboys: Bye Week 10

Why to draft? Clinton-Dix should provide good numbers across the board while not jumping out
in any certain area. Consistent fantasy IDP provider.

Why not to draft? What exactly is his role in Dallas? Do the Cowboys trade for Jamal Adams?

Jalen Ramsey-Rams: Bye Week 9

Why to draft? In a full season, he will make plays on the ball in PD and produce some INT.
Ramsey is also a willing tackler.

Why not to draft? The Rams situation at CB is one that no one should really be throwing his
way. A lot of days off.

Byron Murphy-Cardinals: Bye Week 8

Why to draft? The ball skill plays will come but a CB with nearly 80 tackles is not a common
thing. He will be tested and if he does not knock it down, he is a sure tackle.

Why not to draft? What exactly is his role in this new Arizona Defense? He is on the field and
part of the future.

LaMarcus Joyner-Raiders: Bye Week 6

Why to draft? His first year with the Raiders was a dud but he had no fear. The talent is there, it
is a matter of the Raiders using him appropriately in the defense and he is then a steal.

Why not to draft? Is Joyner just in a bad situation?

Grant Delpit-Browns: Bye Week 9

Why to draft? Delpit was my favorite prospect in the 2020 NFL Draft and he was a steal for the
Browns in an ideal situation. Delpit is an all-around Safety, who will be a much better tackler
than evaluators give him credit for.

Why not to draft? Will there be growing pains and how much production is available in this up
and coming secondary?

Ronnie Harrison-Jaguars: Bye Week 7

Why to draft? In his 2nd year, Harrison moved to Safety full-time and produced numbers across
the board. Look for the Tackle numbers to increase

Why not to draft? He needs to improve upon his on the ball plays for the Jaguars.

Shawn Williams-Bengals: Bye Week 9

Why to draft? Solid Tackle numbers on the back end of the defense with a career high in 2019.
Williams also flashes some ball skills with 5 picks in 2018. He will have more talent on the
defense around him, would not a combo of those numbers work well for an IDP Safety.

Why not to draft? A lot of depth at S and improvement at the LB level. This could result in less
tackle opportunities.

Rodney McLeod-Eagles: Bye Week 9

Why to draft? His Tackle numbers are consistent in the mid 70 to mid-80 range when he plays a
full season. Mcleod will add in some on the ball numbers to the stat sheet.

Why not to draft? He is consistent, do you want someone who may pop? Keep an eye on
Jamal Adams' situation here as well.

Tracy Walker-Lions: Bye Week 5

Why to draft? Walker jumped to 100 plus tackles and contributed PD in his first year of starting.
Even better is that it is not 16 games worth of production.

Why not to draft? A lot of moves were made on the Defensive side of the ball for the Lions.
What is the impact on Walker?

Bobby McCain-Dolphins: Bye Week 11

Why to draft? McCain was an ascending player after being moved to Safety. He will contribute
Tackles and some on the ball plays.

Why not to draft? How does he bounce back from his injury?

Chuck Clark-Ravens: Bye Week 8

Why to draft? Clark saw his numbers across the board jump with a starting role in hand. Look
for consistent Tackle and PD numbers.

Why not to draft? The Ravens drafted two ILB who could cut in the box tackle numbers.

Khari Willis-Colts: Bye Week 7

Why to draft? Safety who started 9 games and was a contributor as a tackler. He was so good
that Malik Hooker was available by trade.

Why not to draft? Can he contribute more in the pass coverage game?

Ricardo Allen-Falcons: Bye Week 10

Why to draft? Allen provides Tackles and PD to a team that drafts him. His numbers could jump
with the departure of Campbell at the 2nd level.

Why not to draft? Allen is not a guy you count on in a league for heavy points from turnovers.

Tre Boston-Panthers: Bye Week 13

Why to draft? Boston played a 16-game season which saw him put numbers up across the
board. Luke Kuechly retiring could boost Boston's tackle numbers.

Why not to draft? The Panthers drafted heavy on defense including Kenny Robinson at Safety.

Malcolm Jenkins-Saints: Bye Week 6

Why to draft? Jenkins returns to New Orleans looking to build on his numbers. He contributed
some in the Tackle game and his true importance as a player does not always show up in
fantasy. Look for a jump in his ball skill numbers with a lot of talent around him.

Why not to draft? Could Jenkins not be an NFL starter anymore and be relegated to sub-
package defense?

Jessie Bates-Bengals: Bye Week 9

Why to draft? Bates racked up triple digit Tackle numbers in his first two years in the league and
is a gem in the IDP playing community. Bates, Williams, and Bell should all get an opportunity
to be on the field together.

Why not to draft? Can Bates keep up the Tackle numbers with the new additions?

Darnell Savage-Packers: Bye Week 5

Why to draft? Safety on the rise after a good rookie season. He should improve upon his
Tackles, INT, and PD numbers in 2020 while continuing to play with a good mean streak.

Why not to draft? How does he respond with some vets gone to being a key piece?

Eric Murray-Texans: Bye Week 8

Why to draft? You are drafting Murray on projections over a 16-game season at safety. He
should contribute heavily in Tackles in Houston.

Why not to draft? He has never been a full-time starter for a whole season.

Brad McDougald-Jets: Bye Week 11

Why to draft? Most of McDougald production will come in Tackles in the back end of the
defense.

Why not to draft? He does not contribute much else across the stat sheet.

Xavien Howard-Dolphins: Bye Week 11

Why to draft? The addition of Byron Jones improves Howard's worth in fantasy. He will get
more of a chance to be a ballhawk which equals PD and INT numbers.

Why not to draft? How does he bounce back from injury and is his off the field situation
squashed?

Terrell Edmunds-Steelers: Bye Week 8

Why to draft? Edmunds enters 2020 with high DB Tackle numbers including over 100 in 2019.
Teams should look to stay away from Fitzpatrick, giving Edmunds more opportunities.

Why not to draft? Is Devin Bush going to take up some of the tackles Edmunds would normally
get?

Jeremy Chinn-Panthers: Bye Week 13

Why to draft? Athletic, rookie Safety who should contribute multiple roles in the Panthers
defense. He can play Safety or move to LB in the sub package. Sure, tackler and good hands.

Why not to draft? What exactly is his role and spot on the depth chart?

Kevin King-Packers: Bye Week 5

Why to draft? DB who fills multiple roles including being a good blitzer from the backside. He is
also a sure tackler and ballhawk.

Why not to draft? Does he start to get his respect due which could hurt his numbers.
