FRANK MILLS FOOTBALL COMPLETE FANTASY FOOTBALL DRAFT GUIDE

FRANK MILLS FOOTBALL COMPLETE FANTASY FOOTBALL DRAFT GUIDE

Why not to draft?
Anderson has too much going against him as the Bengals’ third back.

LeSean McCoy-FA

Why to draft?
N/A - not until signed.

Why not to draft?
McCoy was once the cream of the crop at running back. Now, he is a free agent well past his
prime.

Qadree Ollison-Falcons: Bye Week 10

Why to draft?

Why not to draft?

Mike Davis-Panthers: Bye Week 13

Why to draft?
A handcuff to Christian McCaffrey.

Why not to draft?
McCaffrey will not leave the field often, if at all.

Corey Clement-Eagles: Bye Week 9

Why to draft?
Another option as a handcuff for Miles Sanders.

Why not to draft?
Even if Sanders gets hurt this year, the Eagles also have Boston Scott to turn to,

Raymond Calais-Buccaneers: Week 13

Why to draft?
Only if Jones is traded, as this Bucs backfield is crowded enough.

Why not to draft?
Another Bucs running back who is unlikely to see play this season.

Ty Montgomery-Saints: Week 6

Why to draft?
Montgomery showed promise as a member of the Jets. Now, he joins the Saints who love these
gadget/speed players on their offense.

Why not to draft?
There is so much talent on this Saints roster, Montgomery might not be able to get into many
offensive packages barring injury.

Lamar Miller-FA

Why to draft?
N/A - not until signed. If Miller finds another shot on a team looking for a veteran runner, he is
someone to keep an eye on as a possible goal-line back.

Why not to draft?
An unsigned, aging free agent has little to no value in fantasy.

Wayne Gallman-Giants: Bye Week 11

Why to draft?
Gallman did very well as Saquon Barkley’s backup, giving some hope if Barkley were to sustain
an injury.

Why not to draft?
Once Barkley returned, Gallman was an afterthought.

Peyton Barber-Redskins: Bye Week 8

Why to draft?
Barber had some solid performances on the Buccaneers. If Guice is injured, Barber could spell
Adrian Peterson.

Why not to draft?
Barber’s best days might just be behind him.

Jason Huntley-Lions: Bye Week 6

Why to draft?
If Johnson gets hurt, the Lions will need a new goal line and short down back.

Why not to draft?
This will be a two-back backfield between Johnson and Swift.

TJ Yeldon-Bills: Bye Week 11

Why to draft?
More like a pickup if Moss or Singletary get injured.

Why not to draft?
Yeldon is not likely to see playing time on the Bills behind Singletary and Moss.

Brian Hill-Falcons: Bye Week 10

Why to draft?
No one, literally no one, trusts Gurley’s knee right now. Hill has value simply due to the high
chance he takes over for the Falcons if Gurley goes down.

Why not to draft?
Even if Gurley does get hurt, do you trust Hill to be productive?

Mike Boone-Vikings: Bye Week 7

Why to draft?
If Cook’s holdout lasts into the season, Boone could split the load with Mattison.

Why not to draft?
Even if that does happen, Mattison is the guy to own.

WR PROFILES

by Buddy Andrade @FrankMillsbuddy

Michael Thomas- Saints? Bye Week?6

Why to draft? He is the best WR in the league right now by any metric. He runs precise
routes, flashes good hands and gets YAC despite not being the fastest.

Why not to draft? The elite RB are on the board or if you believe 144 catches is not attainable
again with healthy Kamara and Emmanuel Sanders in the fold.

Davante Adams-Packers? Bye Week 5

Why to draft? When Aaron Rodgers drops back, it is most likely Adams on his mind as the
target on the other end. He is the clear cut #1 WR on the Packers, can run all the routes and
is a Red Zone threat.

Why not to draft? His target numbers will be cut down as it appears Green Bay is looking to
run the ball more with a backfield that runs 3 in depth.

DeAndre Hopkins-Cardinals? Bye Week 8

Why to draft? He is an elite WR going to a system known as the “air raid” offense. They will be
putting the ball up and the 2nd year Kyler Murray will love his new toy.

Why not to draft? The Cardinals have many qualified WR on the roster along with Kenyan
Drake who will get his touches. This year might be a better YPR than actual Receptions.

Chris Godwin-Buccaneers? Bye Week 13

Why to draft? The Bucs offense will be a lot of 1 RB, 2 TE, 2 WR sets, this means Godwin is
going to have Mike Evans, Rob Gronkowski, and O.J Howard to help take away coverage. I
can see a good chemistry with Brady because of his route running and being a good
underneath WR.

Why not to draft? I listed all the mouths to feed so you may want to go with more of a prime
guy at this point and see if he is still available next pick.

Courtland Sutton-Broncos? Bye Week 8

Why to draft? Drew Lock and Sutton appear to have a real good thing going on in Denver.
Sutton runs a tough route, gets YAC and is a Red Zone threat. They have added but he is still
the solid #1.

Why not to draft? Like Godwin, you are concerned with his targets with all the new toys and
growth of Noah Fant. You might wait around more to grab him.

D.J Chark-Jaguars? Bye Week 7

Why to draft? This is an ascending player who has a great connection with QB. He runs all
the tough routes, Red Zone threat and most importantly reliable. He will get a ton of targets in
the Jags new offense under Jay Gruden. This might be a team behind a lot so those 4th
quarter stats could put you over the top.

Why not to draft? The concern over his QB level of play in Jacksonville is a real concern. Do
they spread the ball around with some new weapons?

Tyreek Hill-Chiefs? Bye Week 10

Why to draft? Any touch can go to the house. Rushing, receiving or as a returner, you
manufacture touches for him. Any week can be an explosion.

Why not to draft? He may have more value in leagues rewarding yards or big plays than an
actual PPR. It is not he cannot rack up questions, rather the depth of his route and YAC.
Know your scoring system when it comes to Hill.

Mike Evans-Buccaneers? Bye Week 13

Why to draft? An elite WR who has the size and speed combo to make plays downfield and in
the Red zone. Sure, handed and will carry a high YPC.

Why not to draft? He now has Tom Brady as his QB, while an all-time great has lost his touch
on the deep ball. The big plays may not come as often.

Kenny Golladay-Lions? Bye week 5

Why to draft? Put this guy on a big-time team and he is a household name. He provides a big
YPC and Red zone ability with his large frame. He is another ascending player who will be so
happy to see Stafford back in the fold.

Why not to draft? The emergence of T.J Hockenson in targets and receptions combined with a
two headed monster of D’Andre Swift and Kerryon Johnson in the backfield to get carries.

Julio Jones-Falcons? Bye Week 10

Why to draft? He is still the #1 target who can do it all as a WR and has a QB who looks his
way. The Falcons love to throw the ball and that will not change, making Jones a top option.

Why not to draft? Will Ridley, Hurst, and the RB group get more targets this year.

Cooper Kupp-Rams? Bye Week 9

Why to draft? A PPR stud who is developing into so much more. He is more of a YAC guy
than get open deep type, but the yards will be present.

Why not to draft? A Player who may be better suited for standard league or provides more
Red Zone threat with similar stats.

A.J Brown-Titans? Bye Week 7

Why to draft? He hit the ground running as an NFL player, showing good hands, YAC and tackle
breaking ability. He should see even more of a role and is a starter in all league formats.

Why not draft? Now the league has tape on him, do they change their plan of attack. Also, Adam
Humphries may steal some targets.

D.K Metcalf-Seahawks? Bye Week 6

Why to draft? He came into the league raw from a route running perspective but has incredible size and
speed combo. He is a Red zone threat, YAC guy and plays to his size.

Why not to draft? He does not improve his route running and does not become a better PPR player.

DJ Moore-Panthers? Bye Week 13

Why to draft? Can line up anywhere in the formation and they should be huge in the Rhule/Brady
scheme. He is bordering on being a #1 guy and this is most likely his breakout.

Why not to draft? How long will chemistry with Bridgewater take with the ability of Anderson and
Samuel to take away targets is possible.

Deebo Samuel-49ers? Bye Week 11

Why to draft? As his rookie year moved on, you saw the flashes of brilliance. Runs all the routes, you
manufacture touches for him and always a threat to score. Emmanuel Sanders was a great leader for
Samuel as he improved in every way.

Why not to draft? The increase in targets is not there as some new weapons have been added, one in
Aiyuk who has some similar skills.

Stefon Diggs-Bills? Bye Week 11

Why to draft? He is going to be a focal point in the pass game, he gives Josh Allen a threat from
anywhere on the field and we know how Allen loves to push the ball downfield.

Why not to draft? He is a guy who can “shut it down” if not seeing the ball a lot.

Odell Beckham Jr-Browns? Bye Week 9

Why to draft? A touchdown waiting to happen from anywhere on the field. Despite his size he will run
the tough routes in the middle. I also like the Browns going to a double TE set, this may occupy
safeties. The O-Line is better also.

Why not to draft? He is a guy who can have key drops and mentally be taken out of the game. Loss of
focus and temper can get the best of him. I am not sure how great the relationship with Baker is.

Terry McLaurin-Redskins? Bye Week 8

Why to draft? He had a fabulous rookie year and his target numbers should increase big time. Sure
handed, long speed and runs good routes.

Why not to draft? Who is throwing him the ball? Seriously, it is the only thing that would scare me
away from this star in the making.

Jerry Jeudy-Broncos? Bye Week 8

Why to draft? A rookie who is going to come in flashing good hands and showing (The Steve Smith
like) PHD in route running. His skillset is one that should hit the ground running in the NFL. He is a
Solid #2 for Drew Lock after Courtland Sutton.

Why not to draft? A Lot of mouths to feed in Denver and Drew Lock is another push it down field type
guy which favors others in the offense.

Adam Thielen-Vikings? Bye Week 7

Why to draft? Thielen should see even more targets with Stefon Diggs gone and some young talent
feeling its way in the league. This should be Cousins go-to-guy early in the season.

Why not to draft? New Offensive Coordinator who may divvy up the targets more and the 2nd year of
Irv Smith could be a feature.

Mike Williams-Chargers? Bye Week 10

Why to draft? He is taken the throne as #1 WR for the Chargers. He is a big play waiting to happen and
wins most 50-50 balls.

Why not to draft? There is uncertainty at the QB position with Tyrod Taylor or the rookie Justin Herbert.

Michael Gallup-Cowboys? Bye Week 10

Why to draft? I see a lot of outside WR on the TE side when the season starts. Personally, he is the
first of the three I take in a non-dynasty league.

Why not to draft? How do you feed all the mouths? Is there any consistency or are we talking a week
to week game plan with uneven productions?

Ju-Ju Smith-Schuster-Steelers? Bye Week 8

Why to draft? I truly believe this is his last year in Pittsburgh and he is playing for a contract. He will
benefit most from Big Ben being back and could move around the formation.

Why not to draft? The combination of Ebron, Claypool and Johnson could be primary guys as the
writings on the wall for JJSS departure after this season.

Devante Parker-Dolphins? Bye Week 11

Why to draft? His Week 17 performance vs Stephon Gilmore alone shows his ability to win with his
great ability to get open and hands. He displays #1 WR talent with Fitzpatrick (who should start the
season) under center.

Why not to draft? What impact does Chan Gailey's Offense have on him along with a returning Preston
Williams and a change at QB on the horizon?

Amari Cooper-Cowboys? Bye Week 10

Why to draft? I know that Cooper signed what essentially is a 2 yr. deal. The threat of two other WRs
should motivate him for bigger numbers for his next contract. I think he ends up as the Slot WR and
feasts on smaller CB.

Why not to draft? I think it is an early season surge and one of those guys on the roster you trade for
need later in the season. He is inconsistent in effort and performance.

Calvin Ridley-Falcons? Bye Week? 10

Why to draft? He is a definite starter on a team that throws a lot and he is included in the game plan.
Runs all the routes and gets more 1 on 1 with Julio on the field.

Why not to draft? He is still the #2 WR on the roster with a new TE and RB who can catch the football.

Jarvis Landry-Browns? Bye Week 9

Why to draft? He is a PPR machine who runs with toughness and will break tackles. The new system
should put him in positions to make plays.

Why not to draft? Another of the? Lots of mouths to feed and is he the victim of the numbers game.
Could he last around longer?

Marquise Brown-Ravens? Bye Week 8

Why to draft? Big play WR who may be more of a Standard League guy over PPR. Look for him to add
to his big plays that result in TD, especially off play-action.

Why not to draft? This is a run first offense so targets may not increase as much as in other situations.

Darius Slayton-Giants? Bye Week 11

Why to draft? He showed the ability to run a full route tree with a special ability to get over the top. He
is got a good thing going with Daniel Jones and I see this continuing in their sophomore seasons.

Why not to draft? He may not be a big PPR guy because of the spread and talent in the backfield.

Jalen Reagor-Eagles? Bye Week 9

Why to draft? High upside player in Dynasty, he will be on the field when the inevitable DeSean
Jackson injury occurs.

Why not to draft? You can wait a round or two later because of the WR situation and use of 2 TE sets.

Mecole Hardman-Chiefs? Bye Week 10

Why to draft? Any touch no matter how a potential house call is. Speed to get over the top or gain
major YAC. He is also a plus in leagues that include return yards.

Why not to draft? So many mouths to feed and sometimes the game plan calls for someone else to be
the go-to guy.

Hunter Renfrow-Raiders? Bye Week 6

Why to draft? He is a reliable guy in the slot, he should receive a lot more targets this year and is a true
gamer. PPR strong sleeper

Why not to draft? He may have a low YPC average and not as good as others in a standard league.

Keenan Allen-Chargers? Bye Week 10

Why to draft? Great route runner who runs the tough inside route and is a Red zone threat. He is Mr.
Reliable in this offense as a route runner. Good for both PPR and Standard.

Why not to draft? Injuries are always a worry with Allen along with the unknown of Tyrod Taylor at QB
to start the season.

Allen Robinson-Bears? Bye Week 11

Why to draft? Sure, handed threat who has value in all leagues because he will rack up targets and
YPC. Red zone ability is another reason in TD leagues.

Why not to draft? Does the addiction of Nick Foles combined with TE help arriving hurt his targets?
When Foles was with DeFilippo in Philly, the TE were very important in the pass game.

Tyler Lockett-Seahawks? Bye Week 6

Why to draft? Big play threat who is best for Standard leagues where his yards and deep ball
ability are key. He is very reliable in getting to the spot Russell Wilson is targeting.

Why not to draft? His targets may take a hit with D.K Metcalf becoming bigger in the offense
plus the additions at TE.

CeeDee Lamb-Cowboys? Bye Week 10

Why to draft? An electrifying player whom I see playing outside and having a good Standard
league season. He just needs a little crack to be gone and an important player in TD leagues

Why not to draft? Will there be any consistency in production because of the depth at the WR
position along with Zeke needing to be fed.

Tee Higgins-Bengals? Bye Week 9

Why to draft? I see a lot of similarities with the guy whom he will groomed to be like in A.J
Green. Great job of using his body, Red Zone, and big play threat. A definite in dynasty
leagues, good pick in standard and deep PPR guy.

Why not to draft? He is coming in as a rookie with rookie QB in Burrow. He may be part of
rotation to start before really getting his chance.

T.Y Hilton-Colts? Bye Week 7

Why to draft? Home run hitter whom I often feel is running his route 12 plus yards down the
field at a minimum. Rivers loves to push the ball, and this is his deep threat to go up and get
the ball.

Why not to draft? The running game will be huge this year along with Michael Pittman Jr on
the opposite side. This could cut into targets. More of a standard than PPR guy.

Justin Jefferson-Vikings? Bye Week 7

Why to draft? Another rookie from this class that should come in and play right away. He has
the versatility to play in the Slot or outside, while not losing much off his game. Silent Red
Zone targets right away, could be picked in all types of leagues.

Why not to draft? The run game and 2nd year leap by TE Irv Smith could impact his
immediate success.

Van Jefferson-Rams? Bye Week 9

Why to draft? You can tell by the way he runs routes; he is the son of a WR Coach (Shawn
Jefferson). He can run a full route tree and his knowledge of the game should give him a
league up. Dynasty definite, later in Standard or PPR leagues.

Why not to draft? He is got three proven guys in Kupp, Woods and Reynolds ahead of him on
the depth chart. When does he get his chance?

Christian Kirk-Cardinals? Bye Week 8

Why to draft? He is the #2 in Arizona and should see more single coverage than ever before
in the Air Raid. If his target efficiency goes up, he should produce like better stats.

Why not to draft? There is a lot of depth at WR in Arizona and this could push Kirk out the
door to a potentially better situation for him.

Michael Pittman JR- Colts? Bye Week 7

Why to draft? The 2nd round of the 2020 draft is one we could look back at for the Colts.
Pittman Jr is a good route runner who can break tackles and flashes good hands. He is the
perfect complement to T.Y Hilton and should hit the ground running.

Why not to draft? He is a rookie who will have to earn the trust of an experienced veteran QB.
He is not a guy who is going to threaten deep.

Diontae Johnson-Steelers? Bye Week 8

Why to draft? He put up a respectable season with 2nd and 3rd string QB in 2019. He proved
to be good in the Red Zone and reliable hands in tough areas.

Why not to draft? The addition of Claypool and Ebron could cut into some target opportunities.

Tyler Boyd-Bengals? Bye Week 9

Why to draft? Boyd is most effective in the slot and could be the early security blanket for Joe
Burrow as he enters the league. A guy with value in all types of leagues could have his
targets cut but still have solid production.

Why not to draft? Should Burrow lock on to his outside WR early, Boyd could see a hit to his
production. Does A.J Green get targeted a ton as the franchise player.

Preston Williams-Dolphins? Bye Week 11

Why to draft? This was my deep sleeper last year as an UDFA but a sleeper no more. He
runs an extremely good route and has a knack for winning 50-50 balls. He should be #2 guy
in Miami and a guy you want on your roster for the future. Standard and Dynasty find.

Why not to draft? He is coming off an ACL that may have been harder to rehab in a Covid
world. Keep an eye on his health situation. He is still a Dynasty find.

Anthony Miller-Bears? Bye Week 11

Why to draft? He is got the skills to be a #2 WR and fits nicely in the slot with his skillset. He
is more of a PPR than standard league guy and has value in Dynasty leagues.

Why not to draft? How does he bounce back from injury and what is his relationship with Nick
Foles is under center?

Sterling Shepard-Giants? Bye Week 11

Why to draft? The skill is there to be a #2 for the Giants and a #3 fantasy WR. He is a starter
who when he gets his normal snaps gets highly targeted.

Why not to draft? He is got a concussion issue and like Brandin Cooks, could be a bad sign.
The skill and production are there but for how long?

Robby Anderson-Panthers Bye Week 13

Why to draft? A big play/down the field WR who’s YPC has him as the best fit in Standard
Leagues. Teddy Bridgewater should be a nice jump up and the system fits well for Anderson.

Why not to draft? Is he already coming in as 4th option to Bridgewater and maybe is not
utilized at his strength, which is down the field production?

N’Keal Harry-Patriots? Bye Week 6

Why to draft? He is got the potential to do more with Brady gone. He seemed to be shunned
and that will not be the case with Stidham. He is best in 50-50 ball situations and runs tough
interior routes. Also, a big Red Zone threat.

Why not to draft? Has he improved his footwork and ability to get open against top CB?

Jamison Crowder-Jets? Bye Week 11

Why to draft? He became Sam Darnold’s favorite target at the end of the season and is a PPR
guy to have on your roster. He also runs good Red Zone routes which adds to his value.

Why not to draft? You are not looking at a large YPC guy, so Standard leagues may be a later
pick than other leagues.

Denzel Mims-Jets? Bye Week 11

Why to draft? He has good size, speed, and agility WR with the ability to run all the route. He
does great work along the sideline for leagues that give points for 1st downs.

Why not to draft? Drops were an issue but was it because of his broken hand?

Henry Ruggs II-Raiders? Bye Week 6

Why to draft? Speed to burn, I mean a 5-yard pass could go 85 without a problem. He is
another guy you will manufacture touches for just to get the ball in his hands. Best in Dynasty
and Standard Leagues.

Why not to draft? Is he just another one of these speed guys? Will he be able to run routes
that are not downfield or over the top in the NFL?

Curtis Samuel-Panthers? Bye Week 13

Why to draft? He should become a true Slot WR in the new system. Bridgewater is very safe
with the ball which even increases Samuel value. He could be a PPR sleeper.

Why not to draft? How far down the target depth chart is he? McCaffrey and Moore are the
top guys but what is the fallout after those two players.

K.J Hamler-Broncos? Bye Week 6

Why to draft? Big play waiting to happen in either pass, run or return game. His value in any
league that highlights yards and returns, he is a must grab. Dynasty sleeper too because of
Jeudy and Sutton.

Why not to draft? He will get touches but there are a lot of mouths to feed in the Mile-High
City. He may be a late round pick in some leagues, a good handcuff for top WR as he can
play in the slot or outside.

Steven Sims-Redskins? Bye Week 8

Why to draft? A relative unknown who has a lot of different values. He can play the slot and
he is a dual returner in leagues you get points for returns. Deep Sleeper whose skills are
showing his true value.

Why not to draft? They are very deep at RB with touches needed. The Redskins also picked
Antonio Gibson, who is a similar player and could take some slot snaps. Sims will play
somewhere and be a factor.

John Brown-Bills? Bye Week 11

Why to draft? Brown had a solid season being the #1 WR and now should fit perfect into his
new role as #2, outside WR who can win deep and with YPR.

Why not to draft? How much does the addition of Stefon Diggs take from him and does he just
become the downfield, occasional threat. Better in standard than PPR leagues.

Laviska Shenault-Jaguars? Bye Week 7

Why to draft? He comes right in with the skills to be a #2 WR for the Jaguars. He is got a
good speed-agility combo and gets more than given with his YAC and tackling breaking
ability.

Why not to draft? Injuries could be a concern coming into the league after surgery in the
offseason. How well do he and D.J Chark complement each other?

Marvin Jones-Lions? Bye Week 5

Why to draft? Great route runner who will find a way to get the ball in his hands. He works the
middle of the field well and is best as a slot type WR. Look for him to improve his receptions.

Why not to draft? Could Golladay with a jump to elite and 2nd yr. TE T.J Hockenson take
away targets from Jones. He may not give you good standard league production.

Chase Claypool-Steelers? Bye Week 8

Why to draft? Big bodied, physical, outside the numbers WR who will pull in the 50-50 balls
and get over the top. The Steelers do a great job of drafting the position and it feels like they
will groom the young guys this year

Why not to draft? How good of a route runner is he to start? Are we looking at a guy who is
best in jump ball, Red zone, and sideline plays?

Hakeem Butler-Cardinals? Bye Week 8

Why to draft? A WR who came with a lot of intrigue in the 2019 draft should finally see the
field. He should be an outside WR who can make the tough catches in the middle and down
the field. Definite sleeper in all type leagues.

Why not to draft? They have got a lot of options at WR and does the missed year hurt him
from getting the chances others have already earned.

Roberts Woods-Rams? Bye Week 9

Why to draft? Just a real consistent WR all the way around with great familiarity with the
system and his QB. Runs full route tree and is true #2 WR for the Rams. A true steady eddy.

Why not to draft? Do Reynolds and Van Jefferson steal some time and targets from Woods?

Allen Lazard-Packers? Bye Week 5

Why to draft? Real sleeper who became a go-to-target when not Davante Adams. He runs a
good route and catches the ball well with his hands. Look for his numbers all to go up with
some Dynasty and PPR value.

Why not to draft? They could be real run heavy and does the good Devin Funchess show up
for the 2020 Packers.

Tyrell Williams-Raiders? Bye Week 6

Why to draft? He is a guy with good size and playmaking ability, who was thrust into the #1
WR role after the Antonio Brown saga. When healthy he is a good Standard league WR
because of big plays and YPC.

Why not to draft? They drafted a lot at this position with an eye towards a youth movement.
Keep an eye on Edwards, Bowden and Ruggs preseason health and play.

Antonio Gandy-Golden-Redskins? Bye Week 8

Why to draft? Size that you look for in an outside WR and true Red Zone target. He flashes
good hands and is not afraid to go inside. Dynasty sleeper, deep Standard pick, or handcuff.

Why not to draft? Will Kelvin Harmon take the #2 role and he does not have the ability to play
in the slot with 2 guys already there.

Alshon Jeffrey-Eagles? Bye Week 9

Why to draft? He is a consistent (except playoff drop) hands guy who can win anywhere on
the field. He can break tackles and is a Red Zone threat.

Why not to draft? They went heavy WR on draft weekend (picks and trade) possibly phasing
out the vets in the WR group.

Breshad Perriman-Jets? Bye Week 11

Why to draft? A replacement and upgrade on Outside, Speed WR for the Jets. Perriman has
improved every year and is ready to step out of the shadows in Tampa to be a productive
Standard league WR

Why not to draft? How motivated is he after a big pay day? Is he 4th or 5th option with
Herndon healthy?

Will Fuller-Texans? Bye Week 8

Why to draft? Uber deep ball talent and a guy who could rack up numbers in a Standard
league. His 16 game projections are amongst the best, especially with Hopkins gone.

Why not to draft? Fuller feels like he always injured. To expect a full season is really wishing
a lot.

Julian Edelman-Patriots? Bye Week 6

Why to draft? A beaten-up Edelman was still good enough to produce as an elite PPR guy.
Look for him to help get Jarrett Stidham's feet wet. Still a solid PPR option.

Why not to draft? The slot position is tough, especially in the NE system where they take a
huge beating. How is his chemistry with Stidham early or is Jarrett going to stick with his 2nd
year guys?

Brandon Aiyuk-49ers? Bye Week 11

Why to draft? I call him Deebo Samuel II. Big play guy who should win one on one battles vs
lesser CB early on. A Lot of the defense will be focused on the run or other targets.

Why not to draft? He is got a lot of guys to battle for time and his draft position might not get
him right in Shanahan's good graces. Definite Dynasty guy and watch the preseason rotation.

Corey Davis-Titans? Bye Week 7

Why to draft? When mentally right, he gets the best of the best CB in the league and racks up
numbers. Can run a full route tree with deep ability in a deep Standard league.

Why not to draft? He appears to be in Mike Vrabel’s doghouse and did not have his 5th year
option picked up. He is using 2020 as a huge audition. Might be a change of scenery guy
that you grab late in Dynasty league

Emmanuel Sanders-Saints? Bye Week 6

Why to draft? He is like another coach on the field, runs a precise route and could take some
of the targets from Michael Thomas. He is the #2 WR in New Orleans that they really needed.

Why not to draft? Kamara is back healthy and ready to get his load back. Also do the duo or
Trautman and Cook get more looks.

Bryan Edwards-Raiders? Bye Week 6

Why to draft? Physical outside WR, good route runner and hands catcher. He could be the
perfect boundary guy in the group they have.

Why not to draft? Numbers game and does he get in over Tyrell Williams?? Probably not right
away but he is a guy to grab in Dynasty and keep an eye for other leagues.

Golden Tate-Giants? Bye Week 11

Why to draft? Tate is a guy with great versatility who still belongs on a roster in a PPR league.

Why not to draft? How many targets does he take advantage of each week to keep his stats
where they are, while other younger WR and TE get theirs?

Miles Boykin-Ravens? Bye Week 8

Why to draft? A tough rookie campaign has his value at a low, which is just right for some to
be able to pounce. He is a good size, speed, agility combination who needs to get more
targets and make that 2nd year jump.

Why not to draft? The Ravens drafted in the slot at the draft. Boykin still has a spot, outside
and opposite of Marquise Brown. The problem is more targets for Jackson and a team that is
run first.

DeMarcus Robinson-Chiefs? Bye Week 10

Why not draft? If you are a WR in the Chiefs offense, you are worth being drafted. Robinson
can fill roles across the board, so on top of the numbers he will put up at current slot, he
becomes more valuable.

Why not to draft? You just feel they do not have enough targets to go around and you will take
a wait and see approach with Robinson

Kendrick Bourne-49ers? Bye Week 11

Why to draft? Bourne looks to start the season opposite Samuel, as an outside WR. He runs
good routes in the dirty areas and flashes good hands. He is also a guy they may look to in
the Red Zone.

Why not to draft? He gets outplayed by James, Hurd, or another player, cutting into his time
and maybe putting him on the block. A situation to decide on preseason rotation.

James Washington-Steelers? Bye Week 8

Why to draft? An outside WR with great speed and playmaking ability. He will carry a high
YPR average, so he best fits Standard leagues where yards are important. Look to see the
growth continue.

Why not to draft? Will Ben go back to JuJu as he never had a good rapport with Washington
before his injury.

A.J Green-Bengals? Bye Week 9

Why to draft? Green could come back off injury and be a top target for Joe Burrow as he
grows in the NFL. He can line up anywhere and run all the route. He is deadly on 50-50 balls
and contested catches.

Why not to draft? How much did the year off take out of Green and will there be a youth
movement at the position with the new franchise QB.

J.J Arcega-Whiteside? Bye Week 9

Why to draft? Outside WR with size, who could be the heir to the Alshon role in the Eagles’
offense in the future. A guy to have deep on your dynasty rosters.

Why not to draft? They brought in a lot of guys and he is someone who could be moved at the
end of camp should he not produce. He is got NFL Talent; it just might not be displayed in
Philly.

Kelvin Harmon-Redskins? Bye Week 8

Why to draft? Harmon is a guy who can win the WR spot opposite Terry McLaurin after
producing at the end of his rookie year. Does he turn being taken much later than projected in
2019 draft into a reason to be better and prove people wrong in year 2.

Why not to draft? They drafted at the position with Gandy-Golden. Does the new regime favor
their draft pick over an incumbent?

Devin Funchess-Packers? Bye Week 5

Why to draft? Funchess as a healthy player, wins one on one battles with CB while Adams
draws attention. He displays a good catch radius and some YAC ability.

Why not to draft? Although none of them draft picks, he is got competition for the role outside
against guys who come in with a leg up because of a year in the system.

Randall Cobb-Texans? Bye Week 8

Why to draft? Slot WR, who had a solid year in Dallas and cashed in with a good fit. He will
be a PPR threat with some big plays added to the mix. His targets depend heavily on the
health of two oft-injured guys in Cooks and Fuller.

Why not to draft? KeKe Coutee really comes out firing in camp, taking some of the inside
snaps.

Cole Beasley-Bills? Bye Week 11

Why to draft? He is a deep PPR option as a Slot WR who moves the chains. No threats on
the roster to fill this role.

Why not to draft? Josh Allen loves to push the ball downfield, which takes some targets away
from Beasley. If Allen has grown, so has Beasley's target numbers.

Russell Gage-Falcons? Bye Week 10

Why to draft? Great handcuff if you have got Julio or Ridley on your roster. He could see
some Slot action for Matt Ryan.

Why not to draft? You cannot just put a guy in the slot. He is an outside guy who spells elite
talent on the roster.

Donovan Peoples-Jones-Browns? Bye Week 9

Why to draft? Dynasty sleeper who could see some time in 3-wide sets in Cleveland. He runs
with real physicality after the catch and can turn a quick hitter into a big play. In 3-wide, he is
the outside guy so Landry can play in the Slot.

Why not to draft? They did bring back Higgins, who has a good thing going with Baker
Mayfield right from his arrival in the league.

Adam Humphries-Titans? Bye Week 7

Why to draft? Deep sleeper in PPR leagues as he enters his 2nd season with the Titans. He
is a sure handed guy who plays in the dirty area.

Why not to draft? It is truly a run first offense with A.J Brown and the TE group getting a lot of
Tannehill’s targets.

Marquise Goodwin-Eagles? Bye Week 9

Why to draft? Big play, down the field threat with track speed. DeSean Jackson could be
giving up his job to Goodwin in 2020 because of injuries.

Why not to draft? Where exactly is his fit outside of Jackson handcuff. This is a position of
great depth.

Brandin Cooks-Texans? Bye Week 8

Why to draft? He is a new toy for Watson, who can get over the top of a defense. He also
carries on reverse and fly sweeps.

Why not to draft? Health. How long will he last? How bad are the concussion issues that
have held him out?

Parris Campbell-Colts? Bye Week 7

Why to draft? Campbell looks to be Rivers Slot WR with high upside if healthy.

Why not to draft? He is a guy to watch in preseason to see how much he is integrated into the
offense.

Keelan Cole-Jaguars? Bye Week 7

Why to draft? Cole has proven to be an NFL caliber WR to the point he is getting paid this
year. The roles after Chark are available and there is no reason to believe Cole cannot be a
targeted guy in the offense.

Why not to draft? Same reason, no real defined roles and if outplayed, he could be a trade
target. He is a fit in the league.

Olabisi Johnson-Vikings? Bye Week 7

Why to draft? A guy who can play across the formation and probably fills the role that
Jefferson does not. Keep an eye, his value becomes even more with injury to WR or Irv
Smith.

Why not to draft? Watch out for the rookie WR combo of Jefferson and Osborn.

Tyler Johnson-Buccaneers? Bye Week 13

Why to draft? He is a Dynasty pick who can play all along the formation and brings real grit to
the position.

Why not to draft? The Bucs will run a lot of 12 personnel, really limiting Johnson's chance to
win out of the Slot.

Mohamed Sanu-Patriots? Bye Week 6

Why to draft? He is a good fit as a physical WR to catch the ball between the hashes.

Why not to draft? His ankle injury that really hurt his 2019 production is not fully healed after
surgery.

John Hightower-Eagles? Bye Week 9

Why to draft? Deep Dynasty sleeper or pick in a league that gives KR or PR love.

Why not to draft? Monitor where he fits in the system and how they balance it all out.

K.J Osborn-Vikings? Bye Week 7

Why to draft? Watch this guy. He can line up anywhere, runs great routes and flashes good
hands. Deep league late pick and definite Dynasty sleeper

Why not to draft? He could be too far down the depth chart at the beginning to warrant a
roster spot.

Isaiah Coulter-Texans? Bye Week 8

Why to draft? You have got 2 outside WR with major injury history, great late round handcuff
who could shine.

Why not to draft? He is a depth piece you monitor.

Dante Pettis-49ers? Bye Week 11

Why to draft? He gets more playing time and targets with a team, not named the 49ers. The
skill is there but I think he will find a new home.
Why not to draft? He is on a roster but never active. Monitor the preseason.

Sammy Watkins-Chiefs? Bye Week 10

Why to draft? He is a Chief and seems to have 2 monster games a year.
Why not to draft? The rest of the season where he is minimal targets and a non-factor.

Andy Isabella-Cardinals? Bye Week 8

Why to draft? Isabella is one of the 3 WR taken in the 2019 draft at the highest pick. He is an
absolute burner who can play outside WR despite having Slot WR size.
Why not to draft? Did the Hopkins trade stunt his growth and is he a 2021 stud if Fitz is gone?

Auden Tate-Bengals? Bye Week 9

Why to draft? He is a deep Dynasty league pick who could see more time with any injuries.
Why not to draft? He looks to be odd guy out on game day actives.

Albert Wilson-Dolphins? Bye Week 11

Why to draft? Slot WR who is worth drafting in deep PPR leagues. He is the #3 guy in Miami.
And gains targets with Williams not back from the ACL.
Why not to draft? Malcolm Perry comes in to have a Julian Edelman 2009 like preseason.

TE PROFILES

by John Mendoza @JMendozaNFL

George Kittle-49ers: Bye Week 11

Why to draft?
Kittle is arguably the most gifted tight end in all of football. His skillset is close to un-guardable
and is a constant nightmare for any opposing defense. The 49ers will continue to lean heavily
on their talented tight end and Kittle should remain a favorite target of quarterback Jimmy
Garoppolo. In 2019, Kittle had 7 or more targets in all but 4 games. Kittle is a homerun in
standard and PPR leagues.

Why not to draft?
The 49ers could be in for a rough year, as most teams who lose the Super Bowl often suffer
from the dreaded “Super Bowl Hangover.” Aside from that, players in 12-16 team formats might
be uneasy spending a second-round selection on Kittle. A good sense of how your league drafts
will be key in adding Kittle to your team.

Travis Kelce-Chiefs: Bye Week 10

Why to draft?
The favorite target of the best quarterback in the NFL is an easy selection for any fantasy
player. Kelce had another phenomenal, eclipsing 1,200 receiving yards and yet another Pro
Bowl season. Even more impressive than George Kittle, Kelce received 7 or more targets in 14
games last season, clearly still a favorite target of All Pro quarterback Patrick Mahomes.

Why not to draft?
Despite his production in receiving yards, Kelce caught (only) five receiving touchdowns last
season, which ranked 7th in the league. Perhaps your draft strategy would lean more towards
spending that second round selection on another RB or WR and waiting until the later rounds for
more value at the tight end position.

Mark Andrews-Ravens: Bye Week 8

Why to draft?
The preferred target of 2019 MVP quarterback Lamar Jackson, Andrews likely carried
whichever team he was on to the playoffs last season. Despite playing in only 14 games,
Andrews led all tight ends in touchdown receptions last season (10) and should continue to see
plenty of volume as NFL defenses attempt to corral Jackson’s ability to run the football. Coupled
with the offseason departure of tight end Hayden Hurst and Andrews should see his targets
increase heading into 2020.

Why not to draft?
The Ravens offense might be shifting to more of a ground-and-pound mentality, with the
addition of second round rookie running back J.K. Dobbins. If Lamar Jackson crashes back
down to earth in 2020, Andrews could struggle to see his lion’s share of targets as the Ravens
look to run the ball more.

Evan Engram-Giants: Bye Week 11

Why to draft?
Engram is explosive when healthy. The Giants offense was hot-and-cold last season as the
team transitioned from future Hall of Famer Eli Manning to rookie Daniel Jones. With a year of
experience under his belt, Jones should look to target Engram early and often, as the Giants will
need to depend on Engram as a prominent red zone threat.

Why not to draft?
Engram is explosive when healthy. If you have owned Engram at any point in your fantasy
football career, “when healthy” has been more of “when can he ever stay healthy?” Engram has
struggled with injuries his entire NFL career. If you land Engram in the floating 5-7 round range,
plan on drafting a solid backup tight end for when Engram inevitably makes his annual trip to the
trainer’s tent.

T.J Hockenson-Lions: Bye Week 5

Why to draft?
Who remembers clamoring for Hockenson on the waiver wire after he exploded for 131 yards
and a touchdown in his week one rookie debut? If you did, you probably also remember him
doing very little the rest of the season. Injuries to the entire Lions offense, notably quarterback
Matthew Stafford, are to blame for Hockenson’s lackluster 2019 season. But make no mistake,
with a healthy Stafford and a retooled offense, Hockenson should rebound in 2020 and show
every reason why the Lions make him the number 8 overall selection in the 2019 draft.

Why not to draft?
Was his week one explosion simply a fluke? Even as Stafford returned from injury, Hockenson
never picked up where he left off from week one. A lot of rookie tight ends tend to struggle in the
NFL, but Hockenson was near invisible for the remainder of the season. Hockenson should
improve his sophomore season, but we have not seen it just yet. Tread cautiously when
investing in Hockenson to be your only tight end on your roster.

Hayden Hurst-Falcons: Bye Week 10

Why to draft?
The hype surrounding Hurst has never been higher than it is right now.

Playing second fiddle to the Pro Bowl phenom Mark Andrews, Hurst now finds himself on the
Atlanta Falcons, replacing the departed Austin Hooper, while joining an electric offense of Julio
Jones, Calvin Ridley, and Todd Gurley. In a division that should be full of shootouts this year,
Hurst has “breakout” written all over him. Coupled with quarterback Matt Ryan stating that Hurst
is “the fastest tight end I’ve ever played with” and the sky's the limit for Hurst going forward.

Why not to draft?
It seems like the same story gets written over and over when it comes to unproven, athletic tight
ends that change teams in the offseason. While Hurst certainly has potential, he never truly
carved out a role for himself in the Ravens offense last season, even as a reliable no. 2 to
Andrews’ no. 1. Hurst has the potential but has yet to put it together on the field.

Noah Fant-Broncos: Bye Week 8

Why to draft?
Noah Fant, also known as the: other” first round tight end from 2019, went on to have a quietly
solid rookie campaign for the Broncos. Despite the Broncos’ struggles on offense and three
different starting quarterbacks, Fant was a bright spot for a Broncos team who has been
desperately searching for a franchise tight end. Now, future franchise quarterback Drew Lock at
the helm, Fant could really shine. Heading into his second year Fant has already proven to have
the NFL knowledge to complement his physical ability. Look for Lock to target Fant frequently,
especially in the red zone.

Why not to draft?
The problem is not necessarily with Fant, it is the factors surrounding him on the Broncos
offense. Between 2019 breakout Courtland Sutton, first rounder Jerry Jeudy and second round
speedster KJ Hamler, suddenly, there are a lot of mouths to feed on the Broncos offense. Oh,
and the offense is led by a quarterback with a total of all of five career starts. Fant might be in a
“damned if he does, damned if he doesn’t” scenario. If Lock turns out to be as good as
advertised, the other targets on the Broncos roster might vulture away opportunities from Fant.
If Lock ends up being another John Elway quarterback bust, Fant’s production busts too.

Austin Hooper-Browns: Bye Week 9

Why to draft?
Hooper had been flying under fantasy radars for years before his breakout 2019 season could
leave him ignored no longer. Hooper was a stud last season, quickly putting together a solid
campaign as quarterback Matt Ryan’s go-to threat in the red zone. However, Hooper left the
Falcons in the offseason to sign a mega-deal with the Cleveland Browns. The Browns have
been searching for a reliable weapon at tight end, which is now filled by Hooper. Hooper has all
the pieces in place to duplicate his 2019 success, with new quarterback Baker Mayfield at the
helm.

Why not to draft?
It is hard to trust any Cleveland Browns player heading into 2020 after their collapse in 2019.
Baker Mayfield regressed in just about every aspect of his game, which is not exactly good
news for Hooper. Hooper also just signed a mega-contract with loads of guaranteed money,
which could lead to a drop in production, no longer playing in hopes of attaining a new contract.

Zack Ertz-Eagles: Bye Week 9

Why to draft?
He is Zach Ertz, a fantasy football staple for years now. Ertz has been a favorite target of
whomever is under center for the Eagles and has natural chemistry with franchise quarterback
Carson Wentz. The Eagles offense should continue to build on its tight ends as the nucleus of
their offense, with Ertz leading the way. Despite missing two games last season, Ertz still
finished his 2019 campaign with 916 receiving yards and 6 touchdowns. Simply put, he is still
got it.

Why not to draft?
Ertz has struggled with injuries over the past two seasons. Coupled with Wentz’s shaky injury
history of his own, and 2020 could lead to disaster for the Philadelphia Eagles season and the
production of their offensive players. Last year also saw the breakout of fellow tight end Dallas
Goedert, which could eat into Ertz’s target share going forward.

Hunter Henry-Chargers: Bye Week 10

Why to draft?
See: Engram, Evan. Hunter Henry and Engram are cut from the same cloth: extremely
productive when healthy but leave fantasy owners scrambling for options when they get injured.
The good news is that Henry had a great campaign last year despite missing a large portion of
the season with a leg injury.

Why not to draft?
See: Engram, Evan. If you draft Henry, do so knowing he will likely end up missing from your
lineup for multiple weeks with various nagging injuries. More significantly, the Chargers also
downgraded at the quarterback position, moving on from franchise great Philip Rivers for the
duo of Tyrod Taylor and rookie Justin Herbert.

Irv Smith Jr-Vikings: Bye Week 7

Why to draft?
Talented, and ready to step out of Kyle Rudolph’s shadow, Smith Jr. could become the next
promising tight end this season for the Vikings. With the departure of Stephon Diggs, the
Vikings offense is left with a gaping hole in receiving targets that Smith Jr. could potentially help
fill.

Why not to draft?
Smith Jr. is likely still going to have to battle Rudolph for snaps in single tight end sets. It will be
very hard to buy in on a tight end that might not see consistent playing time as a backup, barring
injury.

Mike Gesicki-Dolphins: Bye Week 11

Why to draft?
Gesicki was a quality streamer last season, finishing the season with 516 receiving yards and 5
receiving touchdowns. These might not seem like stellar numbers, but consider that the
Dolphins spent more than half of the season deciding between Josh Rosen and Ryan
Fitzpatrick, and tanking for what would eventually be the draft pick that landed then future
franchise quarterback Tua Tagovailoa. With Tua set to lead the Dolphins offense, Gesicki
should see his modest 2019 numbers improve, and makes for an interesting sleeper in 2020.

Why not to draft?
The Dolphins might have revamped their offense this offseason, but it is still a lackluster unit
that might struggle out of the gate early in 2020, especially if Tua struggles early as a rookie.

Darren Waller-Raiders: Bye Week 6

Why to draft?
Waller burst onto the fantasy-relevance scene last season as a pleasant surprise for those
looking for help at a razor-thin tight end position. Waller, an extremely athletically gifted tight
end, developed a quick rapport with quarterback Derek Carr, finishing the 2019 campaign with
the second most receiving yards among tight ends (1,146). Waller was one of only three tight
ends to eclipse 1,000+ receiving yards last season, and the Raiders should continue to feed
Waller targets in their first year in Las Vegas.

Why not to draft?
Despite his overwhelming success in receiving yards, Waller struggled to find the end zone in
2019. Unfortunately for Waller owners, Carr appeared to look elsewhere while in the red zone.
That trend could continue in 2020 with the addition of tight end Jason Witten, who might serve
as the Raiders preferred choice down near the goal line.

O.J Howard-Buccaneers: Bye Week 13

Why to draft?
O.J. Howard has done it before - he has been a fantasy-relevant tight end in previous seasons.
This alone brings some optimism that the former first rounder can turn around a forgettable
2019 plagued with inconsistent play and trade rumors. Coupled with the addition of the greatest
quarterback of all time in Tom Brady, and Howard could see a resurgence in his career,
except...

Why not to draft?
The Buccaneers appear to be moving away from Howard. While the team brought in Brady to
shore up the quarterback position, Brady also brought his old friend in future Hall of Fame tight
end Rob Gronkowski, whom Brady won multiple Super Bowls with. The Bucs also boast the
best wide receiver duo in Mike Evans and Chris Godwin as well as fellow tight end Cameron
Brate. All this spells the Bucs continuing their 2019 intentions of moving on from Howard.

Chris Herndon-Jets: Bye Week 11

Why to draft?
Another potential sleeper in 2019, Herndon could find himself as a large part of the Jets offense.
However, after returning from a 4-game suspension, Herndon was placed on injured reserve
and his season was over before it really began. The Jets appear to want to try again with
Herndon, as they did not add another relevant tight end this offseason.

Why not to draft?
The Jets appear to field a lacking offense once again, led by Sam Darnold, who has yet to prove
himself. Herndon is also coming off injury. Barring a spectacular preseason showing, there are
better options to choose from for sleeper tight ends.

Dallas Goedert-Eagles: Bye Week 9

Why to draft?
If nothing else, Goedert would make for fantastic insurance for Zach Ertz. Even as Ertz’ second
fiddle last season, Goedert found himself thrust into playing time as the Eagles’ receivers corps
were ravaged by injuries. Even as the Eagles’ no. 2 tight end, Goedert finished with an
impressive 607 receiving yards to go along with 5 touchdowns. Goedert should remain a part of
the Eagles plans going forward.

Why not to draft?
Alas, Goedert is still technically a no. 2 tight end, and more disheartening a no. 2 tight end to
one of the best in the game (Ertz). It will be hard to reliably depend on Goedert as a fantasy
option while Ertz remains healthy and productive.

Tyler Higbee-Rams: Bye Week 9

Why to draft?
Higbee showed flashes last year, and saw his targets increase substantially when wide receiver
Cooper Kupp went down with injury. With the departure of Brandin Cooks in the offseason, the
Rams could make Higbee a bigger part of the offense in 2020. Higbee might be just enough as
a sleeper if your draft strategy is to take a tight end as late as possible.

Why not to draft?
Higbee scored only three touchdowns last season, while quarterback Jared Goff regressed
heavily in 2019. There are more reliable options than Higbee, especially if you wait for a tight
end.

Dawson Knox-Bills: Bye Week 11

Why to draft?
Knox’s 2020 is tied to the success of quarterback Josh Allen. Allen made a huge leap from his
rookie year to his sophomore year, making the Bills an intriguing fantasy hotspot. The addition
of Stephon Diggs gives the Bills a no. 1 receiver that will only help Allen’s growth as a
quarterback. As the Bills offense improves, Knox should see more opportunities, especially in
the red zone.

Why not to draft?
Knox did not do much in 2019. 322 receiving yards and 2 touchdowns is nothing to write home
about.

Devin Asiasi-Patriots: Bye Week 6

Why to draft?
The Patriots always find ways to get success out of guys no one has ever heard of. A standout
at UCLA, Asiasi finds himself in a position to see a lot of targets in a Patriots offense that likes to
rely on their tight ends.

Why not to draft?
A Patriots tight end and fantasy football success are a match made in Heaven. However, the
Patriots are a shell of their former selves. The days of Tom Brady are gone, replaced by Jarrett
Stidham. The significant downgrade at quarterback makes any Patriots pass catcher hard to
trust

Cole Kmet-Bears: Bye Week 11

Why to draft?
Dynasty players should keep an extra eye on Kmet. Coming from the Notre Dame tight end
factory, Kmet was one of the best prospects in the 2020 NFL Draft and went in the second
round to the Bears. Kmet has all the physical tools to be a franchise-level tight end for the Bears
that otherwise lacks offensive firepower outside of wide receiver Allen Robinson.

Why not to draft?
Sadly, the Bears also signed aging tight end Jimmy Graham during the offseason to be the
starting tight end. Kmet will likely only see play in two-tight end sets while Graham remains the
starter.

The Bears murky quarterback situation does not do Kmet any favors either. Until the Bears
reliably decide between Mitch Trubisky or Nick Foles, Kmet’s value will remain limited during his
rookie season.

Blake Jarwin-Cowboys: Bye Week 10

Why to draft?
The Cowboys had so much faith in Jarwin that they said goodbye to future Hall of Fame tight
end Jason Witten, to feature Jarwin more prominently in their offense. Jarwin showed flashes
last season as the team transitioned from Witten to Jarwin. In 7 starts, Jarwin notched 365
receiving yards and 3 touchdowns. That would roughly equate to roughly 835 receiving yards
and 7 touchdowns over the stretch of a full season.

Why not to draft?
Simply put, the Cowboys are absolutely loaded on offense. Quarterback Dak Prescott has one
of the best wide receiver duos at his disposal in Amari Cooper and Michael Gallup. The
Cowboys also added first round stud CeeDee Lamb and Ezekiel Elliott is still one of the league’s
best running backs. There are a lot of mouths to feed on the Cowboys offense, which could limit
the number of targets Jarwin sees.

Adam Trautman-Saints: Bye Week 6

Why to draft?
Drew Brees loves his tight ends. When he is not force-feeding the ball to Michael Thomas,
Brees often looks the way of his tight end to move the chains.

Why not to draft?
Jared Cook is still the Saints no. 1 tight end, leaving Trautman as the secondary option.

Jonnu Smith-Titans: Bye Week 7

Why to draft?
Smith had flashes of breakout-level performances last season. Smith finished the 2019 season
with 439 receiving yards and 3 touchdowns. Once the Titans solidified the quarterback position
with 2019 Comeback Player of the Year Ryan Tannehill, Smith’s performances began to
become more mainstream.

Why not to draft?
This offense still runs through Derrick Henry, the monster running back who carried the Titans to
the 2019 AFC Championship. It might also be hard to trust Tannehill after just one successful
season at the helm.

Eric Ebron-Steelers: Bye Week 8

Why to draft?
Flash back to 2018 where Ebron finally broke out for 750 receiving yards and a whopping 13
touchdowns. Ebron now finds himself on the Pittsburgh Steelers, where he could have a solid
role as Ben Roethlisberger’s starting tight end.

Why not to draft?
Ebron came crashing down to earth in 2019, finishing with a modest 375 yards and only 3
touchdowns. It will be hard to trust Ebron, whose 2018 is looking more like an outlier than the
start of something special.

Jace Sternberger-Packers: Bye Week 5

Why to draft?
Aaron Rogers must throw to someone. Outside of Davante Adams, the Packers do not really
have much to work with on offense. Rogers could look to his young tight end to make plays
happen.

Why not to draft?
The Packers still list veteran Mercedes Lewis as the team’s no. one tight end.

Ian Thomas-Panthers: Bye Week 13

Why to draft?
Upgrades to the quarterback position and the departure of Greg Olsen opens the door for
Thomas to finally be the team’s no. 1 tight end.

Why not to draft?
This offense still runs through Christian McCaffrey. Even as a number two tight end, Thomas
has not lived up to expectations. There are better sleeper options.

David Njoku-Browns: Bye Week 9

Why to draft?
Njoku still holds the pedigree of a first round tight end on a loaded offense.

Why not to draft?
The Browns signed Austin Hooper this offseason to be the team’s go-to tight end. Njoku’s time
with the Browns seems all but over at this point.

Rob Gronkowski-Buccaneers: Bye Week 13

Why to draft?
The most hyped offseason tight end signing. The Gronk is back! Paired up with his partner in
crime Tom Brady, Gronk is immediately penciled in as the Bucs starting tight end. Gronk will
look to add to his Hall of Fame resume.

Why not to draft?
Even before retiring, Gronk had struggled with injuries in his final seasons with the Patriots. A
year removed from football. No one is quite sure what p [hycial shape Gronk is in, or how much
he has left in the tank. Consider Gronk the highest-risk, highest-reward tight end option in 2020.

Jared Cook-Saints: Bye Week 6

Why to draft?
Cook will have every chance to succeed with Brees leading the offense.

Why not to draft?
Cook has struggled with injuries and inconsistent play his whole career. A year older, he might
be hard to trust in 2020.

Jack Doyle-Colts: Bye Week 7

Why to draft?
With the departure of Ebron, Doyle is back in the driver’s seat as the Colts no. one tight end. An
upgrade at quarterback in Philip Rivers might yield positive results for Doyle.

Why not to draft?
Doyle has yet to live up to expectations, consistently finding himself underperforming in just
about every season.

Tyler Eifert-Jaguars: Bye Week 7

Why to draft?
Eifert joins the Jaguars to shore up their tight end position. Eifert has put together solid seasons
for the Bengals in previous years.

Why not to draft?
Injuries have derailed Eifert’s career. No one knows how much he has left in the tank after
starting only four games in 2019.

Albert Okwuegbunam-Broncos: Bye Week 8

Why to draft?
Drew Lock’s favorite target from Missouri joins the Broncos as a fourth-round rookie, hoping to
pick up where they left off at Missouri.

Why not to draft?
Noah Fant is the tight end to watch on the Broncos, Okwuegbunam will compete to be the
team’s no. 2 tight end.

Jimmy Graham-Bears: Bye Week 11

Why to draft?
The Bears will look to rekindle Graham’s magic as their starting tight end. Graham is still a solid
red zone threat.

Why not to draft?
It has been years since Graham was a fantasy-relevant tight end. After flaming out with the
Packers, Graham’s best years are clearly behind him.

Darren Fells-Texans: Bye Week 8

Why to draft?
Desean Watson’s best receiving threat was shipped away this offseason, which will leave 100+
targets that have to go somewhere.

Why not to draft?
Fells has not particularly stood out in fantasy relevance in year’s past. Look elsewhere.

Greg Olsen-Seahawks: Bye Week 6

Why to draft?
Olsen has had one of the most under-appreciated careers in the NFL. He now takes his talents
to Seattle, where Russell Wilson will look to feature Olsen in their offense.

Why not to draft?
After a wonderful NFL career, Olsen is running on fumes at this point. Olsen turns 35 this year
and had not played a full 16 game season in three years.

C.J Uzomah-Bengals: Bye Week 9

Why to draft?
Uzomah showed some upside last season as the team looked to move on from Eifert.

Why not to draft?
First overall pick Joe Burrow has other, more relevant fantasy options on the offense. Uzomah
might be left out this season, but also might be intriguing in 2021.

Dan Arnold-Cardinals: Bye Week 8

Why to draft?
Kyler Murray and the Air Raid offense. Every fantasy player should want a piece of this offense
that could set NFL records.

Why not to draft?
Unfortunately, the Air Raid offense heavily favors wide receiver production than tight end
production.

Mo Alie-Cox-Colts: Bye Week 7

Why to draft?
Ebron’s departure combined with Doyle’s inability to be productive opens a small door for Philip
Rivers’ go-to tight end.

Why not to draft?
Sadly, there is just not enough here to trust a late-round flier on.

Drew Sample-Bengals: Bye Week 9

Why to draft?
Eifert no longer on the team bumps Sample to the team’s no. 2 tight end.

Why not to draft?
Too little to work with as the Bengals’ no. 2 tight end.

Tyler Kroft-Bills: Bye Week 11

Why to draft?
Josh Allen and the Bills will look to air it out this year. Kroft could sneak in a few touchdowns
towards the goal line.

Why not to draft?
Another no. 2 tight end with limited upside. Pass.

Kaden Smith-Giants: Bye Week 11

Why to draft?
The first thing that comes to mind is that Smith will see plenty of playing time when Evan
Engram inevitably gets hurt.

Why not to draft?
When Engram is healthy, Smith will not see much playing time.

Will Dissly-Seahawks: Bye Week 6

Why to draft?
Dissly had a solid start to the 2019 campaign, reeling in 262 yards and 6 touchdowns in just five
games.

Why not to draft?
Unfortunately, Dissly tore his ACL last season in conjunction with the Seahawks bringing in
Greg Olsen. This will severely limit Dissly’s upside in 2020.

Gerald Everett-Rams: Bye Week 9

Why to draft?
The Rams will rebound offensively in 2020, opening opportunities for Everett in 2020.

Why not to draft?
He is the no. 2 on an offense that prioritized wide receivers.

Kyle Rudolph-Vikings: Bye Week 7

Why to draft?
The man who ended the Saints’ playoff hopes last season is still a threat to be an effective
streamer as a touchdown-dependent option.

Why not to draft?
Rudolph has regressed in recent years. There are better options available with higher upside.

Foster Moreau-Raiders: Bye Week 6

Why to draft?
Moreau could see playing time if Witten or Waller are injured.

Why not to draft?
He is the team’s no. 3 tight end behind Waller and Witten.

Harrison Bryant-Browns: Bye Week 9

Why to draft?
Njoku is being phased out of the offense, making Bryant a possible no. 2.

Why not to draft?
Right now, he is still the no. 3.

Vance McDonald-Steelers: Bye Week 8

Why to draft?
McDonald has shown solid chemistry with Ben Roethlisberger as the Steelers starting tight end.

Why not to draft?
The Eric Ebron signing severely limits McDonald’s upside.

Dalton Keene-Patriots: Bye Week 6

Why to draft?
Perhaps this Patriots tight end is the one that takes over?

Why not to draft?
Too little upside in an uncertain offense.

Ricky Seals-Jones-Chiefs: Bye Week 10

Why to draft?
Personally, every Chiefs player has fantasy relevance. Kelce has been healthy, but one injury
could turn Seals-Jones into a must-start option.

Why not to draft?
The best tight end in the NFL is starting over Seals-Jones.

KICKER PROFILES

by John Mendoza, @JMendozaNFL

Justin Tucker-Ravens: Bye Week 8

Why to draft?
JM - He is the best kicker in all of fantasy football. With Lamar Jackson still under center, this
offense should continue to run up the scoreboard in 2020.

Why not to draft?
If Jackson struggles, the whole offense will sputter to a halt. If Jackson succeeds, that could
mean more extra point attempts and less field goal attempts for Tucker.

Greg Zuerlein-Cowboys: Bye Week 10

Why to draft?
This Cowboys offense is going to be fireworks this season, especially for a kicker who gets to
kick indoors.

Why not to draft?
This is the kind of offense that scores touchdowns, not field goals.

Will Lutz-Saints: Bye Week 6

Why to draft?
Lutz is coming off two solid seasons as the Saints kicker. Queue up another strong season with
Drew Brees leading the Saints offense.

Why not to draft?
The Saints championship window might have come and gone. Will Lutz see as many
opportunities in 2020?

Matt Gay-Buccaneers: Bye Week 13

Why to draft?
With Tom Brady under center and a division with high-powered offenses, Gay is going to kick a
lot of field goals.

Why not to draft?
Weather in Tampa can possibly be messy, and with two of the best wide receivers at his
disposal, Brady might not even need his kicker to attempt field goals.

Harrison Butker-Chiefs: Bye Week 10

Why to draft?
Any kicker of Patrick Mahomes is a friend of ours. Butker has one of the best legs in the NFL.

Why not to draft?
Weather in Kansas City can be disastrous, especially later in the season when it is fantasy
playoff time.

Jake Elliott-Eagles: Bye Week 9

Why to draft?
The Eagles are back and healthy. There should be plenty of opportunities for field goals this
season.

Why not to draft?
If the Eagles have another disastrous season with injuries, it could be terrible news for Elliott’s
production.

Michael Badgley-Chargers: Bye Week 10

Why to draft?
Badgley is in a great spot - his offense is talented, but his quarterbacks are middle of the road.
This means that the offense is likely to move the ball up and down the field but might struggle
getting into the end zone.

Why not to draft?
Likewise, if the Chargers turn to rookie Justin Herbert early, that adjustment period could be
worrisome for Badgley.

Robbie Gould-49ers: Bye Week 11

Why to draft?
Gould is always a solid choice as a kicker - he never overachieves or underachieves.

Why not to draft?
Super Bowl hangover for the 49ers? Only time will tell how their offense responds this season.

Matt Prater-Lions: Bye Week 5

Why to draft?
The Lions return retooled, revamped, and healthy. This offense should be exciting to watch with
a healthy Matthew Stafford. Prater will also have the benefit of kicking indoors for most of the
season.

Why not to draft?
The Lions are a team trying to turn things around but might not quite get there in 2020. The NFC
North also has one of the strongest groups of defenses in the NFL.

Daniel Carlson-Raiders: Bye Week 6

Why to draft?
In Vegas, the Raiders get started with an exciting young offense that is ripe with field goal
opportunities.

Why not to draft?
It might not matter for the Raiders, who must play the Chiefs and Broncos twice.

Josh Lambo-Jaguars: Bye Week 7

Why to draft?
Lambo could be a solid selection on a Jaguars team that might not put the ball in the endzone
much this season.

Why not to draft?
If the Jags continue to struggle, Lambo will not see the opportunities he did last season.

Zane Gonzalez-Cardinals: Bye Week 8

Why to draft?
The “Air Raid” offense looks to be the next-best thing in the NFL. The Cardinals might not touch
the ball without scoring.

Why not to draft?
Touchdowns, touchdowns, touchdowns. That is what head coach Kliff Kingsbury has on his
mind this upcoming season. We are not so sure that Gonzalez will get the chance to kick a lot of
field goals this season.

Justin Rohrwasser-Patriots: Bye Week 6

Why to draft?
The Patriots have always had great success with their kickers, Rohrwasser was brought in to
continue that same trend.

Why not to draft?
Controversies aside, the Patriots will not exactly be lighting up the scoreboard this season.

Dan Bailey-Vikings; Bye Week 7

Why to draft?
Bailey is another perfect example of a solid, consistent fantasy football kicker. He plays indoors
and is on an offense that might stall in the red zone.

Why not to draft?
The loss of wide receiver Stephon Diggs and the potential holdout of Dalvin Cook might be too
much for Kirk Cousins to overcome.

Joey Slye-Panthers: Bye Week 13

Why to draft?
The Panthers are sneakily loaded on offense. This is going to be a fun team to watch in 2020.

Why not to draft?
It just seems like Christian McCaffrey is not going to relinquish his hold on touchdowns.

Ka’imi Fairbairn-Texans: Bye Week 8

Why to draft?
Fairbairn has the chance to put up big kicks this year on a Texans offense that lost its best
weapon.

Why not to draft?
Will this offense be able to move the ball without Hopkins?

Mason Crosby-Packers: Bye Week 5

Why to draft?
Crosby has had a fine NFL career kicking for one of the best quarterbacks in NFL history.

Why not to draft?
The Packers refuse to get Aaron Rodgers any sort of help. It will be harder to move the ball this
year than ever before.

Brandon McManus-Broncos: Bye Week 8

Why to draft?
We can always count on a Denver Broncos kicker to keep 50-yarders in the Mile-High air.

Why not to draft?
We do not know for sure if Drew Lock is the savior for the Broncos. Even so, McManus has had
an up-and-down career, plagued with inconsistency.

Jason Myers-Seahawks: Bye Week 6

Why to draft?
The Seahawks will have another good season for their offense with lots of opportunities for
Myers to kick.

Why not to draft?
If the Seahawks offense is too good, Myers might not get to kick field goals.

Chris Boswell-Steelers: Bye Week 8

Why to draft?
The Steelers are finally healthy and should be a better offense this season.

Why not to draft?
No one, absolutely no one, likes kicking at Heinz Field.

Austin Seibert-Browns: Bye Week 9

Why to draft?
The Browns offseason hype returns, finally healthy and productive.

Why not to draft?
The AFC North is going to be brutal for opposing offenses.

Eddy Pinheiro-Bears: Bye Week 11

Why to draft?
The Bears should bounce back in 2020.

Why not to draft?
Quarterback competition and the dreaded Soldier Field is a recipe for disaster for kicker
production.

Randy Bullock-Bengals: Bye Week 9

Why to draft?
Joe Burrow will get the most out of the Bengals offense.

Why not to draft?
AFC North might be the toughest division in football and Burrow could take a while to get use to
the speed of the game.

Brett Maher-Jets: Bye Week 11

Why to draft?
The Jets should not score many touchdowns in 2020.

Why not to draft?
The Jets might not score much at all in 2020.

Jason Sanders-Dolphins: Bye Week 11

Why to draft?
The Dolphins finally have their franchise quarterback and are a much-improved team this
season.

Why not to draft?
Sadly, it is still the Dolphins, who are a couple years away from competing for a division title.

Greg Joseph-Titans: Bye Week 7

Why to draft?
Joseph has a great leg, coupled with an offense that really came around last year.

Why not to draft?
If Derrick Henry comes back with another solid year, he will carry the Titans into the endzone.

Chandler Catanzaro-Giants: Bye Week 11

Why to draft? He has plenty of leg, including good numbers from 50 plus yards.

Why not draft? Catanzaro has some consistency issues, which also includes his extra points.

Dustin Hopkins-Redskins: Bye Week 6

Why to draft?
Hopkins has statistically been an effective kicker in the NFL.

Why not to draft?
The Redskins offense is not going to do much in this upcoming season.

Tyler Bass-Bills: Bye Week 11

Why to draft?
Bass will challenge Hauschka for the Bills’ starting kicker spot. If he wins, he immediately has
value.

Why not to draft?
Hauschka is a savvy vet who should prevail in the competition.

Rodrigo Blankenship-Colts: Bye Week 7

Why to draft?
A kicker battle that Blankenship might win.

Why not to draft?
Until it has been decided, avoid both Indy kickers.

Younghoe Koo-Falcons: Bye Week 10

Why to draft?
The Falcons’ offense is as dangerous as ever with the addition of Todd Gurley. Koo will get to
kick almost exclusively indoors this season.

Why not to draft?
The Falcons like to score, but they always find ways to put the ball in the endzone, not settle for
field goals.

Sam Sloman-Rams: Bye Week 9

Why to draft?
The Rams offense should be better this year with a healthy offense and a more solidified
running game.

Why not to draft?
Sloman just is not a name you can quite trust in fantasy circles yet.

Stephen Hauschka-Bills: Bye Week 11

Why to draft?
The Bills are ready to go with Josh Allen under center and new wide receiver Stephon Diggs.

Why not to draft?
Josh Allen is almost like a running back in terms of offensive production and might just score
without needing a kicker.

Chase McLaughlin-Colts: Bye Week 7

Why to draft?
The Philip Rivers-led offense should see better production from the offense this year,

Why not to draft?
There just might not be enough to seriously consider McLaughlin.

HOW TO DRAFT IDP

by Buddy Andrade @FrankMillsBuddy

OUR RANKINGS ARE SET UP WITH ON THE BALL DEFENDERS
(DT,4-3 DE, 3-4 DE, 3-4 OLB)

Just like in any league, know your scoring system. Is it Sack heavy; do you get points for Tackles
for loss and how many points per solo tackle or assist?

The top stat you should be looking for is sacks with this position. A good gauge on this is not just
the sack numbers but QB Hits and Pressures. It tells how close a guy is to the QB.

Next, you should be looking for solo tackles then assisted tackles. This will give you a feel if a
player is first to the ball, wrapping up and sure tackling. The assisted tackles tell he hustles to
the ball and does not quit on plays.

OFF THE BALL LINEBACKERS

Tackles are key. Solo then assisted are the measurements you should follow to grade players.
Next look for Forced Fumbles, fumble recoveries then on the ball plays like INT or passes
defensed.

Knowing if your player is on the field (we have a chart for that) in sub-package defense is very
important as the draft progresses. The league has become a sub-package league.

DEFENSIVE BACKS

Like LB, tackles are key- solo then assisted. This eliminates a lot of elite CB because the action
is away from them. Safeties are the way to go in IDP. Next is impact plays, whether it be INT or
pass defenses, you will gain points.

I understand you look at the rankings and expect to see a shutdown CB like Stephon Gilmore at
the top, I cannot emphasize enough, this is not the case.
