Since young, I’ve always wanted to know,
About the life of a paddy planter.
I wonder how paddy plants grow,
And from where they get so much water.

As it was a long holiday,
I followed my grandparents to their paddy field,
And watched them work the whole day,
Just to get a better yield.

From sunrise to sunset,
They worked without any rest.
Although the field was always wet,

Please be my friend.
