Nex tSteps?
Want to find out more about church, and
about faith? Not sure where to start? Here are a few next steps…

First Steps

Babies and children are always welcome at our events. First Steps is one of our weekly Toddler groups
taking place from 10.15am on Thursdays (termtimes) in Radbrook Community Centre. Alongside that is Trinity

Tots toddler group on Mondays (termtimes) from 1.15pm in the Trinity Centre, and our monthly Little Buds
Toddler Church monthly on a Friday morning from 10.15am in the Trinity Centre. Young children and families

will also receive a warm welcome at our Messy Church events, now taking place in three different venues
across the area at a range of times. Messy is a great way of being church for people of all ages involving fun,

creativity, celebration and food.

Small Steps

Not sure about faith? Or don’t know where to start? Why not take small steps forward towards faith.
We’ve recently completed an Alpha Course and will be running one again in autumn 2019. Check out the
Alpha website www.alpha.org/watch/ for more. There are many other regular opportunities for people to

discover for themselves more about Jesus through events like Life Explored and The Start Course.

Big Steps

Coming along to church for the first time can be really daunting. Don’t know where to sit, what to
say, or what to wear? Relax, take a big step forward and give it a go, either at one of our Sunday services or to

the quieter Thursday morning service. You’ll find a warm welcome, a relatively informal feel, and hopefully a
friendly group of people. Our strapline here is “living for Jesus, loving one another, and setting a table for the

world.” Come and see how we try and do that here.

Joyful steps

We do lots of weddings and baptisms each year, and so we’d love to talk about helping you celebrate your
“big day” with us here. As a local church we’ve been here for over a thousand years, walking with people

through some of life’s big events, so we’ve got huge experience of doing these services of all shapes and sizes.
As well as a beautiful church building we also have a fantastic venue on site in the Trinity Centre.

Last Steps

It’s a sad reality that one day we will all die. We want to be here for you as a local church, and our clergy
team have the huge privilege of taking a large number of funerals each year, both at the church itself as well as
at the crematorium. Our Gravetalk resource can be a really helpful place to explore some of these big issues of
life and death, as well as meeting up with one of the team to talk about your own funeral arrangements and
any particular wishes you might have. We’re also very much here for family and friends after a death. Through

the process of planning a Christian funeral, and for as long as appropriate after that, we are here for them.
Alongside being a listening ear and loving presence one-to-one, we host regular memorial services, burials of

ashes in our Millennium garden, and chances to remember loved ones in our permanent memorial book.

➤ For more information on all of these events you can contact the Church Office on 01743 362399,

or email [email protected]. Don’t forget our website www.trinitychurches.org

Onwards & Upwards?

There’s been a church at the heart of Meole Brace for over a thousand years, and the list
of vicars goes back to 1220! But a look at our regular diary is a reminder that we’re not standing

still but keep on growing and doing some new things.
