collection of propaganda surrender leaflets in an album, produced by the Russians
and dropped over Italian soldiers fighting on the Eastern Front. The leaflets report
Russian military successes and German & Italian losses, show the happy existence of
Italian prisoners of war in Russian captivity, etc. Many are related to the Battle of
Stalingrad where the majority of the Italian forces in Russia were destroyed (approx
150 leaflets)

24 Nov. 1934 as it was eventually returned to the Malvinas. Such covers sent from
South Georgia are very rare.

were used. The short span of use also contributed to its rarity, as the earliest known
example is postmarked in July 1903 and sales ceased in May 1904. An exact count of
genuine mint examples is difficult to make, due to the prevalence of fakes, some of £16,000 £20,000 £13,000
which have previously received genuine certificates. It is reasonable to assume that
less than 15 mint examples exist which would now receive a certificate. This is one
such example with a 2020 B.P.A. certificate. The latest example to sell (very lightly
hinged) realised $31,860 last year, another block of 4 sold in 2013 for £120,750.
