Overview

How does a company with a widely distributed workforce deliver educational
material and best practices to employees and partners in a timely manner while
ensuring adoption? How does a manager or supervisor know his or her team
members understand their role and what is required to be successful? How can
employees share their experience and knowledge to benefit others, regardless of
whether they’re sitting close by or half a continent away?

These are the questions Woople answers through a combination of innovative
technology and unique content programming and partnerships. Woople is a
web-based learning system anyone can use to train, educate, and inform
individuals, groups, and organizations. The name Woople means, “a shout of
exuberant joy,” and embodies the core idea of being able to accomplish more
in less time.

Walmart’s mission to save people money so they can live better aligns perfectly
with the purpose of Woople. Our motto is “Simple eLearning for your organization,”
and by making learning simple, fun, and affordable, we also help people live better.

Overview Continued

Educating a group is too complicated, too expensive, and too important to ignore.
Woople was created to solve this problem. After many years of frustration with the
last generation of eLearning platforms, we introduced Woople to alleviate the key
pressure points our internal and external customers experience on a daily basis.
The complex nature, extreme cost, lack of creativity, and time-consuming nature
of the available eLearning platforms drove us to operate differently. Every single
Woople feature is incorporated into our platform, only if it meets all four of our

Woople Partner Tools

Overview
Our Content Delivery Network and Partner Tools represent the most significant
advantage of the Woople platform by providing Account Managers with the ability
to distribute content across the Woople network. The Partner Tools feature enables
organizations of any size to deploy channels and courses with tremendous flexibility,
and to view reports on how users and accounts interact with the distributed content.

Key Features
Organization Structure
Regardless of the number of locations or levels of management in your organization,
Woople can be structured to meet your specific needs. With Partner Tools, you can:
• Build out your network by creating accounts for each location or functional group
• Link any number of accounts together with groups to reflect your corporate

structure based on specific criteria, such as regions, roles, and responsibilities
• Upload and deploy content as well as view reports from one central location
• Automate the management of your network using our XML-based API

Content Targeting
When launching corporate training initiatives or communications, Woople allows
you to easily target your initiatives to the applicable users and groups. You can easily
deliver content to management teams, new hires, or your sales team by targeting
your content to a designated audience. Woople’s targeting feature provides you
with the ability to:
• Rapidly deploy a course throughout the network, regardless of location
• Select and target content for specific accounts or locations based on

regional, regulatory, product line, or management differences

Content Authoring
Woople empowers you to author and upload your own content in a variety of video
formats, making it available to your network in minutes. You can organize content
into either the channel or course format. Channels allow content to be viewed

Woople Reporting

Track performance with metrics-based reporting.
Our reporting feature provides a single snapshot of viewer activity and progress for
all users in the account. Business owners and managers can view the progress of the
entire account as a whole, of a specific group, or of a single user by week, month, or
year. Keep your team on track with comprehensive reporting tools that allow users to
quickly see how they are doing. Woople has simple, easy-to-understand reports.
You can also download the reports as a spreadsheet to see every detail that
Woople tracks.

Leveraging Woople as a communication tool by all members of the enterprise is a critical
component of fully utilizing the Woople platform. While most learning platforms require
expensive, time-consuming Flash-based content, Woople allows companies to launch
programs quickly across organizations and time zones with engaging video-based
content and assessments to measure user adoption.

Woople Certification

Business Challenge
As your company grows, it becomes increasingly important to ensure your workforce
receives and understands your important initiatives. This is especially true for distributed
workforces where information needs to be delivered across many retail or franchise
locations. Businesses often face the challenge of overcoming schedule conflicts,
disseminating company information in a timely manner, tracking progress, measuring
adoption, and distributing time-sensitive materials quickly.

Solution
Woople Certification is an invaluable tool that ensures organizational initiatives are
adopted and understood company-wide. Certification is designed to guide learners
through a structured program of essential and elective courses. It also uses assessments
to measure understanding and direct employees back to additional learning materials
as needed.

Key Features:
Terms
Woople Certification programs are easy to design and implement. Simply determine the
number of terms, establish the pass rate for each individual course, and assign the
number of essential and elective courses desired. The Terms feature allows organizations to:
• Set start and end dates to help employees manage their goals
• Communicate relevant material quickly with a viewing deadline
• Structure courses according to priority by assigning them as essential or elective

Essentials
Essentials are required courses that facilitate the adoption of company-wide initiatives.
As an organization, you decide what is essential. Each user must watch all courses
designated essential for any given term. Use essential courses to improve company

• Facilitate adoption by including printable training supplements
• Implement assessments to improve performance
• Divide courses into smaller units, making it easier for users to view and retain information

Electives
Certification can also include electives which allow participants to select topics relevant

Overview
The Woople system is a powerful tool for corporate communications and
learning initiatives, but it is further enhanced when combined with the
integrated services we offer. Whether you want to automate user management
or integrate your existing internal tools with Woople, we offer a number of
options that make it easy. The following services are available to help
seamlessly integrate Woople into the enterprise tools you already use.

Single Sign-On
Large organizations that use Woople often have their own internal employee
portals, so it makes sense for Woople to support Single Sign-On allowing users
to quickly and easily view content. Single Sign-On eliminates the need for
users to remember another password or bookmark. With one click, employees
can access Woople directly from inside their current portal. One of the many
benefits of Woople is the ability to access it anywhere and anytime.

User & Account Management
We understand the challenge many large organizations face to keep identity
management systems in sync with third-party applications. Woople is designed
with this in mind, and its flexibility ensures your most recent data is reflected.
With user and account management services you can:
• Automate adding and removal of employees, as well as manage their

roles and permissions
• Review, edit, and make changes to users with full management functionality
• Further automate and streamline your integration through the Woople API

Supported Data Types
One of the easiest ways to ensure users in Woople are always up-to-date is
to manage them with automated file updates. We have experience with .CSV,
XML, and JSON formats and are also able to conform to the standards used by
your enterprise IT department. You can send us recent changes or a complete
snapshot of all users that need to be on Woople, and we will take care of the rest.
By including role, employment status, and important affiliations like regions or
accounts, our team will make sure learners and managers have access to the
correct content and reports.

Enhanced Reporting
Large organizations often have complex management or reporting hierarchies.
Whether your business is made up of franchises, branches, retail locations, or
distributed individuals, Woople has the built-in flexibility to gather accurate
and detailed reports. Learners have access to their own reports and can track
their own progress. Administrators can also access reporting data for all learners
they manage. The Woople application makes all of this data available in the
user interface and for download. An additional service we offer for large
organizations includes enhanced automated reporting to post specified data
for pick up by your internal applications.
