THE LAUREL COUNTY SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL ACADEMIC TEAM
Under the direction of Carl Weaver and Larry Stamper, the LCHS Academic Team actively com-

STUDENT COUNCIL

The 1984-85 Student Council has excelled greatly in school spirit and student participation. Our activities this year have reached high

standards of excellence. We wouJd Uke to than~ the sophomores for the success of the Sophomore Orientation Program. Our Fall Carnival

was the best ever and we owe thanks to the clubs and their sponsors. Our largest success was the Football Homecoming. We wouJd like to

thank the Football team, Administration, teachers, students, and parents for the overwhelming participation that made Homecoming a great

success. Those we owe the greatest thanks are the student officers and the student volunteers for their school spirit at LCHS.

Student Council was organized to represent the student voice. Togethe~ with our advisors this year: Mrs. MeN ulty, Mrs. Hammond, and

Mrs. Pratt, the students have improved the quality of learning, school spirit,'and school environment. ·

the Mathematical Association of America and
the National Council of Teachers of

stimulate interest in mathematics by providing
pubUc recognition of superior mathematical
scholarship and by promoting various
mathematical activities. We have 59 members
