Gas Cylinders / Cylinder Bundles
The special High Pressure bundles could accomodate 9,12 or 16 gas cylinders. They are being connected to the network through one outlet and not
for the whole number of cylinders. G.SAMARAS SA provides also high quality gas cylinders for medical and industrial applications. They cover a great
range of capacities and are manufactured of stainless steel or aluminum. Along with the cylinders, G. SAMARAS SA provides also cylinder valves of dif-
ferent norms. Further information could be found in the data table.

3.2.3 Pathology Laboratory Gas Systems
According to Health Technical Memorandum (HTM 08-06), all laboratory gas systems should be discriminated from med-
ical systems. For toxicity, flammability, corrosiveness and safety factors, those systems are being manufactured accord-
ing specific standards and from special materials.
The extended range of uses of the PLGS • Immunoassay laboratory Depending on the gas purity grade the PLGS
could be as per following: • Chromatography laboratory they do exist the below options:
• Hematology • Cell culture room
• Clinical biochemistry • Mass spectrometer laboratory Up to 4.8 ► made of brass
• Hospital bacteriology • Polymerase chain reaction room
• Hospital virology • Electrophoresis room Up to 5.0 ► made of nickel plated brass
• Histopathology • Flow cytometry room
• Cytopathology • Electron microscopy facilities Up to 6.0 ► made of nickel plated brass
• Cryopreservation room • Blood grouping and cross-matching or stainless steel (depends
on the type of gas)
A complete PLGS system consists of:
1. Cylinder manifold, 2. Integrated outlet point, 3. Single-stage cylinder regulator, 4. Alarm panel.
Cylinder manifold
Designed for use on systems using high or low cylinder pressure corrosive gases, toxic or high purity (up to grade 6.0) gases, the stainless steel Au-
tochange Cylinder Manifolds are manufactured to operate in conjunction with cylinders filled up to 300 bar. These manifolds are designed to accom-
modate two equal sized banks of cylinders with one bank set as duty and the other bank set as reserve. The manifolds offer the user an uninterrupted
gas supply with an alarm option to indicate when the reserve cylinder has taken over.

Features of the purification / carbon active bed
The carbon active beds are used to separate oil vapors from the compressed air. The distribution of the air inside the carbon active bed
is being achieved through flow distributors while the adsporption procedure separates the vapors.

out the use of external power. Outlets from GSSEP900ST 602 500×215×257
condensate drains should be fed into a GSSEP1800ST 1.530 654×345×282

Condensate from the system will enter the GSSEP7000ST 6.000 989×990×520
Water/Oil separator under pressure and is GSJOSEPR2 12.000 1270×800×1350
allowed to expand in the specially designed GSJOSEPR5 120 1270×1000×1520
centrifugal inlet chamber. The cleaned GSJOSEPR10 300 230×255×239
