MPTherBaeenpesfitpssofiuUnsirngge Using technology /
measuring devices to help better
analyse and improve golfer’s swings
is always fun for me. One of the
main devices I like to use to analyse
my students footwork, and how they
are using the ground during their
swings, is the BodiTrak pressure
mat.
BodiTrak allows the student to
see where and how much pressure is
on each foot ... right foot vs. left foot
and toe vs. heel ... during the swing
in real time. It is a great device to
use for me to explain why a player
may be struggling with the following
faults:
• Loss of distance.
• Off-centre strikes on the clubface.
• Hitting behind the ball, or low
smash factor at impact.
• Ineffective ball flight pattern.
I’ve noticed many times that
students often feel one thing that
is very different than reality. By
showing students where their foot
pressure is during their swing,
and where it needs to be in order
to improve their ball flight and/
or impact conditions, can make a
dramatic and immediate difference.
This device allows the student
to better understand why they’re
struggling with a certain swing fault
and helps bridge the gap between
reality and perception.
Feel free to contact me with any
questions, or if you are in need of
getting a pressure mapping analysis
of your swing. As always, thank you
very much for your time in reading
this month’s Pro Pointer.
All the best!

TITONI
True Quality
Time.
Since 1919
Time is our most precious
possession in life. In an increasingly
fast paced, busy world where our
attention is simultaneously split
between multiple tasks, we all desire
moments that we can spend doing
what truly matters to us.
We believe the greatest
fulfillment comes from dedicating
time to the things that are closest
to our hearts; whether it’s spending
quality time with loved ones or
pursuing life passions. We give them
our undivided attention and value
them beyond measure, because
they give us our sense of purpose
and meaning.
Titoni has been built on these
same values. We’ve spent nearly a
century perfecting the art of crafting
the finest timepieces. Classic
designs are produced with precision
from high quality materials that
embody our unique Swiss heritage
and history. Our watches are made
for those who appreciate and
share the same sense of genuine
dedication and desire for quality

champion, Rahm, until he made the shot

Rahm had no intention of

birdies and an eagle to briefly take sole
possession of the lead. He was looking
