Rotaract showed me the incredible impact a team can have. And it showed me the beauty of working together to make a real difference. This journey as an assistant secretary, opened my eyes to a world of possibilities beyond my fingertips, empowering not just myself, but others as well.= Rtr. Dhanushi Jayaweera Assistant Secretary <While being the Treasurer of the Rotaract Club of University of Kelaniya for the Rotaract year 2023-24, I was able to develop my skills and knowledge in managing the financial aspect of the club and being an organizational leader. Some of the things that I was mostly involved in were coordinating the financial aspects of the club, controlling the club funds as well as keeping a check on the financial accounts. Besides reporting and advising other executive committee members, I have assisted our team in improving the efficiency of its financial operations. This role has positively impacted my communication skills, my ability to work in a group, as well as my understanding and planning techniques. Furthermore, I have been able to participate in different service programs providing my assistance to purposeful endeavors, and also noticing the necessity, usefulness, and outcomes of the work of our club for the community. This has been a rewarding process that has made me develop excellent skills and at the same time meet my psychological and interpersonal needs.= Rtr. Additionally, I managed the Regional Engagement avenue and monitored club behavior to maintain a positive and productive environment.
