The memory of

Rabbi Binyamin Kamenetzky ‫זצ"ל‬

thrives and flourishes through the profound
legacy he left upon the thousands of
lives he has touched and impacted.
He was a visionary and pioneer of the
Torah community of the Five Towns.

His infectious, cheerful and optimistic attitude inspired and
motivated others to dedicate themselves to Torah values,

coming ever closer towards reaching their potential.

On a personal note, he and his Rebbetzin
were a constant source of Chizuk to our

family for close to half a century.
We are forever indebted.

May his Yeshiva, Yeshiva of South Shore,
continue to expand upon his great legacy!

Our memory of

Rabbi Binyamin Kamenetzky zt”l

14 years ago, when we moved into the new Shteeble building
Rabbi Kamenetzky zt”l “requested” that I make all the
children say a bracha before taking & eating any candy.
As tough as making them say “Good Shabbos” was
(two years’ worth of work) this task was daunting.

Fast forward 14 years.
The zechuyos of 40 to 50 children saying a bracha every

week prior to eating the candy along with the “Amein”
answered by myself and the others who sit near my
seat, are still accumulating for the Rosh Yeshiva zt”l.

His presence was a bracha for us all.
His influence had an everlasting impact
on the members of Congregation Beis Medrash.

He led by example and taught us how to thank Hashem
for all the good in our lives – especially the candies!

We miss him dearly and we
all aspire to emulate his ways.
