invited by EiMAS and the DOE to give training and lectures to the DOE officers and the participants from the
Malaysian industries on the scheduled waste management (SWM) topics.
During the early periods of its operations, AWWAM was able to establish its business and made a number of

In supporting for the CePSWaM participants for the preparation of a minimum six-months of field training report
(FTR) during the competency processes, in January 2012, AWWAM further developed the course modules for the
FTR workshop known as the Technical Report Preparation Workshop (TRPW) or CePSWaM-TRPW-FTR. The
CePSWaM-TRPW-FTR was launched in March 2012 as the first workshop to assist CePSWaM participants to
prepare the FTR for submission to EiMAS during the competency period.
The numbers of participants attending for CePSWaM-TRPW-FTR from March 2012 to September 2022 are shown

Based on the above graph it can be concluded that numbers of participants for CePSWaM-TRPW-FTR were
increasing yearly at the beginning. However, starting 2019, the graph has shown a decrease pattern until to date.
This could be due to increasing number of other training providers that were also providing similar type of
workshop, Covid-19 pandemic on previous years and extension date given by EiMAS for submission of FTR report.
