AWWAM ENVIRONMENTAL LABORATORY SERVICES (AELS)

Dear Valued Customer,
Send your organic, oil or petroleum samples to our laboratory for

FLASH POINT TESTING
(ASTM D 93)

What is Flash Point?
Flash point is defined as the lowest temperature of a liquid at which its
vapors will form a combustible mixture with air. Flash point is a
convenient and reliable classification of flammability for numerous
petroleum liquids and related substances.

* American National Standards Institute (ANSI)
The test can help you to assess the ignitability or flammability of
materials/wastes. The flash point of the material is also used in the
shipping and safety regulations to define the flammability and
combustibility of materials/wastes.

Our laboratory is equipped with Pensky Marten Closed Cup Apparatus
for Flash Point Test
