Bishop McGuinness had much to be
proud of in its Villain soccer team this
year. The team achieved a regular
season record of nine wins and seven
losses. Haus, Coach Allen, and his
team members had a lot of hard work
to do to get into the state playoffs
which included only sixteen teams
from around the state. The team had
moments of relaxation, though, during
trips to the beach and also to the
mountains of Asheville.

We would like to dedicate the 1982-83 yearbook to a
very special person. She has been with us for eight years,
and throughout these years she has shared her knowledge
and her love with everyone. Through her patient guidance,
many students have come to understand the more difficult
concepts of mathematics. During this time, she has
moderated the National Honor Society, and she has
advised the members in their projects. She has not been
seen as much around the school this year because of her
participation in hospital ministry. We dedicate T he Key to
Sister Dennis Eileen—a teacher, counselor, and friend. She
truly is one singular sensation!

Li This year the annual Bishop
\ McGuinness Bazaar was held on
4 November 6, 1982. The cooperation
of the faculty and students helped
Robynne French, Eileen Hoyle, Ed Schumacher, Tim McFadden to make it a fun, as well as
profitable, event. The video games
and pie-throwing contest were
popular with both young and old
alike. The handmade crafts, baked
goods and other class-sponsored
games also attracted many people.
